What was particularly surprising and a huge step above other hotels was the in-room fitness set – a fantastic bonus! The front desk staff were friendly and provided excellent service, which deserves special praise. During peak hours, the breakfast restaurant felt a bit small for the number of guests, but thankfully, everyone ate quite quickly, so a short wait usually secured a table. I also want to commend the incredibly fast service for the noodles, and the wide variety of fruits available. This is a high-quality business hotel that I would definitely choose to stay at again."

"Mercure Yuquan is by far the best hotel I've stayed at during my ten-plus days in Hangzhou. This is the first time I've genuinely wanted to leave a glowing review. You get five-star hygiene and service for the price of an All Seasons Hotel. The romantic French decor style is very comforting. The room wasn't damp at all and had no musty smell – it felt clean and safe. A huge shout-out goes to the extensive breakfast, offering both Chinese and Western options. It was incredibly rich! Most hotels end breakfast at 10 AM, and I've seen all of them start clearing up by 9:30 AM. Mercure was the only one that didn't rush to clear the food or pressure guests, allowing us to truly enjoy our meal. My child slept in and came down just in time, had a wonderful breakfast, and we even packed some pastries for the plane ride. As a mom, that brought me such peace of mind. I'm truly grateful and touched! 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 Wishing the hotel continued success!"

"This was my first time traveling alone with friends, and after some searching, we chose this hotel. It was truly excellent! The service was very attentive. When we called for eye masks and earplugs, a small robot delivered them immediately. The next day, another front desk staff member mentioned they were usually chargeable, but still gave them to us for free. What impressed me the most was a young man with glasses 🤓. He was very dedicated and responsible in his work and would proactively engage with guests. One evening, my dinner had gotten cold, and I asked the front desk if there was a microwave, not really expecting much. It happened to be his shift, and he didn't hesitate, taking my food to reheat it for me. This was the greatest kindness I felt while being in a different city. Another young lady at the front desk who helped with luggage storage was also great 👍. Their smiles will always stay with me. I thought the hygiene was very good overall. There was just a tiny bit of dust on the desk, but the bathroom was very clean. Daily cleaning was also prompt and thorough. The location is excellent. It's about a seven-minute walk to the subway, right next to the bustling Hubin Pedestrian Street, and just a few more steps to West Lake. You can reach Hangzhou Center in about fifteen minutes by subway. In summary, this hotel is a great choice with high value for money, a fantastic location, and thoughtful service! 👍👍👍"

"Facilities: The room came with a bathtub, and they even provided bath sachets and a packet of bath salts. The bed was large, perfect for families with young children. Cleanliness: The hygiene was pretty good. Environment: Not bad, though the basement is still undergoing renovation. We saw a sign by the elevator suggesting we could take the elevator to the basement to directly access the subway, but we were confused when we got down there. We later asked a staff member and found out it wasn't ready yet. Hopefully, they can improve the signage to avoid misleading guests."

"This place is just a few minutes' walk from the subway station – the location is absolutely perfect! Both the rooms and common areas are spotless, with no strange smells at all, and the bedding is so soft. The front desk service was great and saved me a lot of hassle. My roommates were also very quiet. I'd definitely stay here again next time I'm in Hangzhou. The room was really clean, and the facilities are new. The main plus is how convenient it is being so close to the subway (it might get a little noisy at night since it's near the road, but my sleep quality is pretty good). The front desk staff were also very nice. If you open the window at night, you might get some mosquitoes, so I'd suggest bringing some insect repellent or asking the front desk. But these are minor issues. I'd recommend it to friends and will come back again. Everyone can rest assured!"

"The location is excellent, right outside the subway escalator. There are convenience stores and various restaurants nearby, and it's about a 17-minute walk to West Lake. There are even late-night food options. We were assigned a room not facing the street, which was very quiet. However, the view outside the window was an internal landscape that was brightly lit, so we kept the curtains drawn the whole time. This meant we couldn't tell what the weather was like outside, which felt a bit odd, but it wasn't a major issue. If you're someone who prefers to sleep without drawn curtains, you might want to mention that to the front desk. There were a few dark spots on the bathroom floor. I'm not sure if it's the material or something else, but it didn't look 100% clean. The shower gel was a bit drying, but it had a pleasant scent. I hope they can switch to white tissues, like Vinda brand. I personally don't care for the light brown, 'eco-friendly' type. Downstairs, the hotel has a food street and an internet cafe. If you need a computer for work, the internet cafe is a great option – very convenient with a good environment."

"I was extremely satisfied with my stay. For under 500 [currency, e.g., RMB], the room quality and service level were the best I've ever experienced. The front desk staff were efficient and incredibly friendly. As a new hotel, the rooms were clean, spacious, well-equipped, and highly intelligent (the heated toilet seat was a nice touch!). They provided a full range of amenities, including plastic slippers, brown sugar ginger tea sachets, umbrellas, and disposable raincoats – the latter was a lifesaver when it rained on my trip to Lingyin Temple. They offer free simple grab-and-go breakfast and freshly made late-night snacks like wontons and noodles. All in-room snacks and drinks are complimentary with no hidden charges. The proper breakfast, priced at 38 per person, offered enough variety for daily needs, fresh ingredients, and timely replenishment. The hotel's location is super convenient, with various snacks, restaurants, and bubble tea shops right across the street. Shentang Station is just about 100 meters away, making it much easier to visit Hangzhou's surrounding attractions by subway. The front desk staff, in particular, paid great attention to detail, proactively asking about children's slippers for my kid and offering umbrellas and raincoats when the weather was overcast. I'll definitely prioritize this hotel on my next visit and recommend it to colleagues and friends."

Easy to get around by taxi or subway. 2. **Service:** This is their core strength! Every single staff member greets you with a smile and a warm welcome. Any request is met with incredibly fast response times – truly 'neighborly' service. 3. **Facilities:** The rooms are clean and smart, and the toiletries are from the Afu essential oil series, which are really nice to use. The public reading area and the laundry room (free!) are perfect for business travelers. 4. **Dining:** The breakfast features authentic Hangzhou local snacks, and the late-night 'Deep Night Congee' (shenye zhou dao) is so comforting and warms you right up. I've already recommended it to my colleagues. It's a hotel you'll want to stay at again and again!"

As soon as I arrived, a young man asked if I wanted coffee, and he made it for me. The beans were surprisingly good! They have a self-service laundry room, which is very convenient. My girlfriend woke up early one morning to do laundry and might have been experiencing low blood sugar. A staff member noticed right away and asked if she needed something to eat. Seeing she wasn't doing well, he quickly called a colleague to rush to the restaurant for some breakfast. The elevator was too slow, so she had to run! She delivered it to our room door, panting, and urged my girlfriend to eat quickly, then asked if she was feeling better. A big thank you to her! One evening, I bumped into a young woman working the night shift, groggily carrying a pillow. We exchanged greetings, and she even said 'bye-bye' when I left! It felt like everyone had a relaxed work atmosphere. The next day, there was a fire drill. I was half-asleep when I opened the door to find a man standing in the middle of the hallway. Seeing me, he immediately said not to worry, it was just a fire drill. Every morning before going out, I'd have a cup of coffee made by that young man, which always started my day off right. When we checked out, it was pouring rain. We stored our luggage and also received two cute umbrellas from the front desk. The service here is truly exceptionally thoughtful. I've stayed at many hotels with good service, but this one genuinely felt warm, offering a different kind of service. I really hope the staff are doing well, with stable jobs and a good work environment, as this clearly contributes to the warm and welcoming atmosphere of the hotel."
