"This stay was absolutely perfect, giving me a whole new appreciation for this hotel's service and quality. The lobby is bright, and the staff are warm and friendly; from the moment I stepped in, I was surrounded by their genuine smiles and thoughtful greetings. Check-in was efficient and easy, and they thoughtfully introduced me to all the hotel's facilities and services. The room was spacious and bright, with elegant and refined decor, and every detail was perfectly executed. The bed was soft and comfortable, like sleeping on a cloud, ensuring a great night's rest. The bathroom was clean and tidy, with high-quality toiletries that had a pleasant scent. The dining experience was even more amazing. The breakfast buffet offered a rich variety, from fresh fruit and exquisite pastries to steaming hot Chinese and Western dishes, catering to different tastes. The restaurant staff were attentive and meticulous, always anticipating guests' needs and promptly refilling drinks. It was an excellent stay, and I highly recommend it to everyone!"

"This hotel is a guesthouse converted from a villa complex, sharing the space with original residents. Security guards check your booking details upon entry, so Didi and food deliveries aren't an issue. There's a tea garden, so the outdoor environment feels quite pleasant. However, the rooms are average and on the small side. While there's an outdoor balcony, there are too many mosquitoes, so we hardly dared to open the door. On the last night, there were mosquitoes in the room, keeping me awake, and the mosquito repellent essential oil wasn't very effective. There were welcome fruits (common fruits, not really to my taste) and afternoon tea (two drinks + a few small cakes), which was significantly less impressive than what others received. There's also a private hot spring experience, but I wasn't interested so I didn't go. Breakfast lacked noodle soups, wontons, and similar items; the variety of food was quite limited. For a price of 700-800, I generally feel it's not good value for money. When checking out, I messaged the butler on WeChat about the issues, and they later arranged to send some local souvenirs as a consolation. I didn't take many photos of the room as there was nothing special about it; I only photographed the lotus flowers and snacks I bought myself."

Hotel near Hangzhou Railway Station Area,Hangzhou
The Redstar Culture Hotel (Hongxing Wenhua Dasha) is an elegant hotel located on the eastern section of West Lake Avenue. The hotel is within walking West Lake, Hangzhou's most popular attraction. There are a variety of beautifully-furnished rooms, some of which offer spectacular views over West Lake. Business, Eye Hospital of Zhejiang University ,executive and non-smoking floors are available. When it comes to dining, there are both Chinese and Western restaurants on the first and second floor of this Hangzhou hotel. For business travelers, the hotel has a business center and a wide selection of meeting and conference rooms.During their spare time, guests can play chess or poker, exercise in the gym, or melt away stress by getting a massage.

"The location was great and the hotel has all the amenities expected of a 4-star hotel. Rooms are spacious, however it does look a bit dated compared to other hotels in the same category. The breakfast is top tier, lots of selection and the dining room is large. The biggest complaint I have is that the hotel smells heavily of cigarettes. The windows don't open and the floors are carpeted so the smell lingers. Although this is a none smoking hotel, guests will ignore the signs and smoke in the hallways. My mom and I both started feeling unwell does to poor ventilation in our room after the first night. We requested to switch rooms and the receptionist arranged a different room for us immediately. Another thing to note is that large tour groups also stay at this hotel. The second morning, we arrived for breakfast right at the beginning, however most of the food was already taken by a large tour group who came down a few minutes earlier. It was very noisy and messy, unlike the first morning, which was very calm with plenty of food options."

GGuest UserMy expectations were fully met, and the hotel lived up to the hype. The only minor drawback is that check-in isn't until 3:30 PM (though earlier check-in is possible if rooms are available), but this hotel is just incredibly popular. The hotel boasts numerous rooms with an exceptionally high occupancy rate and a variety of room types. Stepping inside, there's a magical sense of calm. For the same price, you might only get a standard room in Shanghai, but here we enjoyed a lake view suite. The service was also top-notch; my family felt right at home, praising the hospitality. It was money well spent. Even during the holiday, the swimming pool and hot spring weren't overcrowded, which speaks to excellent management, as reservations are required. Since it's winter, swimming was a bit chilly. However, there's also a sizable, slightly warmer children's pool area, which is absolutely fantastic.

TTinyjhThis hotel is quite unique and in a great location. It's pretty smart, allowing for face recognition check-in for the entire stay. The room comes with makeup remover wipes, toner, lotion, and cream. The lobby is spacious and bright, and it's very close to Hangzhou High-Speed Railway Station, making it easy to catch a taxi. I'll definitely stay here again if I have the chance. They also offer a self-service breakfast and late-night snack. If you're booking a room, ask for Wang Yue; she's very enthusiastic.

GGuest UserThe hotel is small but exquisite, with a serene and elegant Japanese Zen garden. The rooms are clean and spacious, and the private hot spring baths are wonderfully relaxing and therapeutic. The amenities are refined and comprehensive. The butler service is thoughtful and attentive, making the check-in experience feel truly special. The food is fresh and delicious, and the 'nine-grid' breakfast is quite unique.

GGuest UserThe best hotel of the year, hands down. The value for money and service are simply outstanding. I was here to celebrate my ***** birthday, and they helped decorate the room and even sent a small cake. The hotel itself is stunning, very traditional Chinese in style. I actually found out about this hotel after seeing it in Zhang Linghe and Xu Ruohan's 'Love You' and had always wanted to experience it. I was incredibly satisfied with everything – the mountain views, the tree views, the facilities, and the service. The pool was also very clean. I had such a wonderful time that I didn't want to leave, and when I asked the front desk if I could have a late check-out, they happily extended it by two hours. During my three days and two nights here, I completely forgot all my worries. The breakfast was also very generous. Now that I've checked out this afternoon, I'm already experiencing withdrawal symptoms! I'll definitely choose this hotel again for our next wedding anniversary!

GGuest UserI guess I'm a loyal customer of this hotel in Xian Mountain, Qiandao Lake. I've been there twenty times, and every time I visit Qiandao Lake, I still choose this hotel. There's a unique sense of appropriateness here – they don't seem to be merely providing service, but rather 'taking care' of you, making you feel like entering the hotel truly marks the beginning of a vacation: free, comfortable, pleasant, and warm! I felt it the moment I arrived. The car had barely stopped at the entrance when the bellhop scurried over to open the car door, greeting us with a smiling 'Hello, welcome home.' After we checked in, a bellhop proactively helped us with our luggage, introducing himself as he led us to the elevator: 'If you need anything these next few days, just call the concierge. My name is Henry.' He was a bright and efficient young man with a constant smile. Just hearing him say that, and seeing his smile, made you feel like he wasn't just completing a task, but genuinely inviting you to reach out, all to put your mind at ease! On the day we checked in, I casually asked if there were any good running routes nearby and what fun things there were to do. Henry actually took the time to draw me a map, explaining the hotel's layout, where I could run, where I could cycle, where I could hike, where I could pick bayberries, and where I could eat. He even reminded me, 'Before 6:30 AM, the boardwalk is less crowded. If you like photography, you can go and take pictures of the sunrise; it’s really beautiful.' The next morning, we indeed went to the lighthouse and the camphor tree forest. When we returned, dripping with sweat, we ran into him again in the lobby. He enthusiastically asked, 'Finished your run? The weather's great today, how was it?' – just like an old friend I'd known for ages. It feels wonderful to be remembered! Another time, our group of ten went to the hotel. In the evening, he led us to chase the sunset. We walked cheerfully along the path on Xian Mountain Peninsula. He walked in front, constantly describing the surrounding scenery and sharing stories of past guests, occasionally turning back to make sure everyone was still with us. In that moment, it didn't feel like staying in a hotel; it felt more like being shown around by a local old friend, listening to him share everything about the area… The hotel is now called InterContinental One Thousand Island Lake Resort, and everything is still as beautiful and comfortable in that resort style. The moment you step into your hotel room and open the door, the entire Qiandao Lake unfolds before your eyes. You can't help but think: 'This is exactly what I wanted!' The mist and mountain breeze intertwine, a gentle drizzle, so comfortable you don't want to move. The bedding was just the right firmness, and I swapped my pillow for a buckwheat one, sleeping soundly until my alarm went off – which is quite rare in a hotel. The breakfast restaurant is also the most extensive among similar hotels, with a vast array of dishes prepared meticulously. There were six or seven kinds of green leafy vegetables for the salad alone, and a variety of dressings. There was also a young man making fresh squeezed juice, busy but with a good-natured smile on his face all morning long… So, what does staying in a hotel mean, you ask? Is it just staying for two nights, looking at the lake, and eating fish head? Actually, it's about enjoying the service the hotel provides, not just the 'hello, thank you, sorry' routine, but feeling that someone truly cares about your feelings, your needs, and your mood! InterContinental One Thousand Island Lake Resort doesn't feel like staying in a hotel to me; it feels more like visiting a friend's home who truly understands you. You want to go back every now and then to see your old friend and everything you hold dear! The lake view is beautiful, but what makes me want to keep returning are those warm moments I remember… The lake views will stay in our photo albums and on our phones, but those people and those moments of being treated with kindness will always remain in my heart…

TTritohRoom is spacious with super king bed (2super single joined). Bed is comfortable. No noise issue. Late check out was provided till 2pm but was extended till 6pm after feedback on the room lighting and aircon not working early morning. Nearest metro is Pengbu station, many restaurants. Just don’t deliver your Taobao parcel to hotel, items will be delivered to a locker nearby. ZZemoZemorIt's like living in a forest, with acorns constantly falling from the trees. The hotel is very clean, with virtually no mosquitoes. The room facilities are all excellent, especially the toilet flushing, which isn't too loud. Special praise goes to the hotel staff; their service was exceptionally good from check-in to check-out. They provided afternoon tea with fruit platters, nuts, and tea; offered ginger soup and ice packs if you had a cold; and promptly came to your room to help with any issues. The hotel only offers vegetarian food. I tried it once, and it was quite good and creative. Compared to the Black Pearl Hotel (averaging 1000 RMB per person), it's definitely not quite as good, but it's much better than other vegetarian restaurants in temples. Every ingredient was very fresh, although there were some issues, like the watermelon in the complimentary fruit platter being sweet and the blueberries being extremely sour. If you don't want vegetarian food, the surrounding farmhouses are a good option, offering fish, chicken, stir-fries, etc. I randomly picked a few and none were bad. The hotel also arranged various courses, including a healing class and Baduanjin (Eight Pieces of Brocade). Lying in a cabin surrounded by trees and feeling the breeze on a platform by the forest river was a truly therapeutic experience! I stayed for two days and there were still many courses I didn't get to try, so I'll make up for them next time! I'll consider bringing my parents next time.

KKapibala1314Our family is practically regulars at the Grand Hyatt Hangzhou, and whenever we visit Hangzhou with our child, this hotel is always our top choice. We've stayed many times, and each visit is consistently satisfying – it definitely deserves a full five-star review! The hotel's location is absolutely perfect for families. Just cross the road and you're right by West Lake. A few minutes' walk takes you to the Hubin Music Fountain, Longxiang Bridge subway station, and the in77 shopping mall. During the day, we can stroll along the lake and take a boat ride on West Lake with our child, and in the evening, we can shop and enjoy delicious food. There's no need for long taxi rides, which doubles the happiness when traveling with kids. Every time we check in and mention we have a child, the staff proactively prepares kids' toiletries and small slippers. We can also request a free crib, and sometimes they even provide small snacks and toys, which always makes our child incredibly happy. The rooms are spacious and not cramped, with expansive views from the floor-to-ceiling windows. When we book a lake-view room, our child loves to lean by the window and watch the boats on West Lake. In the evening, we don't have to jostle with crowds to see the music fountain – we can watch it from our room, which is convenient and safe. The bathroom has a large bathtub, perfect for letting our child soak after a day of playing, making bedtime routines very easy. Housekeeping is meticulous and thorough, and the bedding is soft and gentle on the skin, so our child falls asleep quickly after a busy day. The breakfast selection is incredibly rich. It includes local Hangzhou specialties like Pian'er Chuan noodles and pastries, as well as kid-friendly options like milk, yogurt, steamed eggs, small buns, and hash browns. The flavors are mild and suitable for all, meeting the diverse needs of the whole family. Sitting by the window, enjoying breakfast with a lake view, truly makes the morning experience perfect. The hotel's indoor heated pool has clean water, a suitable temperature, and excellent natural light. Every time we visit, we take our child for a swim, and they absolutely love it. Whether it's the front desk staff, concierge, or room service, everyone is gentle and patient. When we're carrying large luggage with our child and it's inconvenient, the concierge always comes forward to help. Any small request in the room is responded to quickly and efficiently, without any perfunctory delays. The staff also enthusiastically recommends kid-friendly routes and nearby restaurants, which are heartwarming details. After so many stays, we've never had a bad experience. The hardware facilities are well-maintained, the family-friendly amenities are thoughtful, and the location is simply unbeatable. As long-term repeat guests, I sincerely recommend this place to families traveling to Hangzhou with children. It's hassle-free, comfortable, and offers a perfect experience. The next time we bring our child to West Lake, we will definitely stay at Grand Hyatt Hangzhou again!
