"This hotel has a great ambiance; it almost feels like being in a Japanese garden in Tokyo. The service is exceptional. I've stayed in quite a few hotels, and this one started providing service even before check-in, asking about bedding preferences and toiletries, and even adding me on WeChat – it felt very thoughtful. While the hotel doesn't have an elevator after check-in, the staff are proactive in helping with luggage and taking it to your room, so you barely have to lift a finger. I caught a bit of a cold, and when I asked for a thermometer, it was already borrowed. The staff immediately bought a new one and brought it to me promptly, which was incredibly reassuring. The afternoon tea and breakfast are plentiful and exquisitely prepared; they're delicious and upscale. I certainly didn't expect to have abalone for breakfast – it felt like a truly elevated standard of living. The wonton wrappers in the breakfast were particularly special – soft, silky, and never mushy. One bowl of these confirmed, ”Ah, this is Jiangnan!” The soupy goodness, that distinct flavor… I highly recommend everyone stay here! ❤️"
