Guest UserThis hotel has great style. However, the shampoo is very watery; even with five or six pumps, it's not enough. This doesn't really match the hotel's standards, so perhaps they could switch to a better shampoo. The ceilings are quite high, and the blackout curtains work well, so I slept soundly. The carpet was a bit dirty and could use regular cleaning. The front desk manager was very warm and friendly. There's a large mountain behind the hotel, perfect for a hike. Breakfast was plentiful.

Had a wonderful three-day, two-night stay at the Fuchun Resort, a place I've long admired. The architecture, rich in Chinese aesthetics, blends seamlessly with the natural environment of Fuyang, creating a truly harmonious feel. Hiking here was wonderfully wild and scenic. The resort's thoughtful service was evident in every detail: from the welcome greeting and the consistently helpful and responsive personal butler (Benson) before arrival, to the doorman's proactive and natural assistance with luggage, and the waitress's meticulous inquiry about dietary preferences at breakfast. All these touches reflect the hotel's high standards of service and made me feel truly respected. I even left my hat in the calligraphy class and only realized it when the instructor notified me and said it would be promptly returned to the lobby. The shuttle drivers were also very punctual, almost always available on call. The housekeeping staff were diligent and friendly. The hotel also offers a wide range of activities, and the travel photography service was particularly high quality. Fuchun Resort truly lives up to its reputation as a high-end resort. I'd love to visit again!

LidaranChoosing a hotel by West Lake was such a dilemma! Due to West Lake's cultural tourism ecological protection policies, all lakeside buildings are height-restricted and low-rise, with no large-scale renovation allowed. This means many older hotels inevitably have dated interiors.
After a lot of research and comparing several options, I finally settled on Xizi Hotel. This is a renowned state guesthouse, where world leaders stayed during the G20 summit, and the classic photo spot for the Leifeng Pagoda is also here. Drawn by its rich history, I made a special trip to stay, and the experience certainly didn't disappoint.
The hotel is right next to West Lake, with strict security at the entrance, ensuring excellent privacy. Guests need to walk into the park to reach the guest room areas. The complex is divided into multiple buildings; I stayed in Building 8, which was recently renovated in the last few years, so the facilities are new and clean. The room size isn't huge, but the ceiling height is exceptionally generous, making it feel spacious and not at all cramped – very comfortable to stay in.
The room service was incredibly thoughtful. Fresh seasonal fruits were provided daily, and they even helped receive and store packages at the front desk. Pretty much every request was met.
If you're vacationing at West Lake and want to relax by the lake in peace without constantly moving around, Xizi Hotel is definitely a top choice. Next time I visit Hangzhou, I'll still choose this place. A big thank you to all the staff for their attentive and thoughtful service!

PengsakelaasuojiaerInterContinental Qiandao Lake, exclusively occupying the Xian Shan Peninsula, is a scenic destination in itself, perfect for a slow-paced getaway.
The hotel offers a rich variety of dining options. The breakfast buffet on the first floor boasts a wide selection, and we enjoyed several excellent meals at the Chinese restaurant. The late-night diner on the fifth floor, opening at 9 PM, became a regular treat for the kids after swimming, serving various instant noodles with fresh eggs and vegetables. There's also a Japanese restaurant outside the lobby, perfect for a relaxed meal after a scenic walk or bike ride around the lake.
You can rent bicycles and 'Panda cars' to explore the island. The peninsula is ecologically pristine, with blue butterflies dancing and swallows flitting about, showcasing abundant wildlife. Both indoor and outdoor pools have regularly changed water and are well-maintained. The hotel also has its own yacht pier; simply book at the front desk or buy tickets at the lobby shop for direct access to Huangshan Peak, making travel incredibly convenient.
The most heartwarming part of our stay was the housekeeping auntie. When she saw my child's summer homework spread out, she thoughtfully placed an eye-protection desk lamp, noticing the dim light in the room. This small act of kindness was truly touching.
With one island, one hotel, far from the hustle and bustle, nestled between the lake and mountains, enjoying nature in peace – this is the ideal state of a vacation.

congcong0613Environment: The environment is really superb. I booked a water villa, and the hotel upgraded me to a deluxe water villa, which had a better location and was closer to the hotel lobby. The balcony in the room overlooked the lake, and you could feed fish and ducklings from the balcony railing. There were so many koi in the hotel, some even bigger than the ducks, which was really fun.
Service: Every staff member I encountered was super nice. When my child mentioned that the snacks delivered to the room were delicious, they specially sent two extra portions that afternoon. When I checked out, they even prepared some for me to take away, which was incredibly touching! Thumbs up, thumbs up!
Food: The breakfast area isn't big, but it's delicious! There's a wide variety of bread, and both Chinese and Western breakfast options are very rich. Even if you go to eat after 9 am, there's no long queue; it's quiet with fewer people. We had dinner at the Baiyun Restaurant, which was also very good, costing a little over 200 yuan per person, which was quite reasonable.
Facilities: The hotel is indeed not new anymore, as it has been open for a long time, but it's very well maintained. And this Chinese style just looks ancient and elegant, which I personally really like.
Rowboat: Three of us took the hotel's rowboat. It was 400 yuan for an hour to charter the boat, which is indeed a bit more expensive than outside, but the advantage is no queues, no exposure to the sun, and there wasn't a second boat on the outer lake waterway, so we had a private secret retreat all to ourselves – so comfortable!

It's like living in a forest, with acorns constantly falling from the trees. The hotel is very clean, with virtually no mosquitoes. The room facilities are all excellent, especially the toilet flushing, which isn't too loud.
Special praise goes to the hotel staff; their service was exceptionally good from check-in to check-out. They provided afternoon tea with fruit platters, nuts, and tea; offered ginger soup and ice packs if you had a cold; and promptly came to your room to help with any issues.
The hotel only offers vegetarian food. I tried it once, and it was quite good and creative. Compared to the Black Pearl Hotel (averaging 1000 RMB per person), it's definitely not quite as good, but it's much better than other vegetarian restaurants in temples. Every ingredient was very fresh, although there were some issues, like the watermelon in the complimentary fruit platter being sweet and the blueberries being extremely sour. If you don't want vegetarian food, the surrounding farmhouses are a good option, offering fish, chicken, stir-fries, etc. I randomly picked a few and none were bad.
The hotel also arranged various courses, including a healing class and Baduanjin (Eight Pieces of Brocade). Lying in a cabin surrounded by trees and feeling the breeze on a platform by the forest river was a truly therapeutic experience! I stayed for two days and there were still many courses I didn't get to try, so I'll make up for them next time! I'll consider bringing my parents next time.

Rendanruju2020Highly recommend the central lake-view rooms; the unobstructed lake view is breathtaking and truly therapeutic, giving you that ultimate vacation vibe.
**Dining:** Breakfast was plentiful, and the dishes changed over our two-day stay, which was great. The Chinese restaurant also had a lovely ambiance and excellent food.
**Transportation:** It's a 10-minute walk from the entrance to the lobby, or you can use the hotel shuttle.
**My only complaint:** We arrived around 1:30 PM on a Sunday, and I understand the room might not have been ready. However, despite several prompts, we didn't get our room until just after 3 PM. There was no seating available in the lobby either, leaving both the elderly and children quite exhausted.

The environment was quiet, ensuring a great night's rest. Breakfast was plentiful, and they even gave us a souvenir upon check-out. I'll definitely recommend this place to my friends and family when they visit Hangzhou.

Guest UserThe hotel is in a great location, which is a big plus considering the traffic around West Lake in Hangzhou. It's just a few minutes' walk to the lakefront, not far from the Broken Bridge, and right next to Wulin Night Market. The breakfast selection is extensive, and there's a kids' pool, which is great for families. Overall, it was a good stay, and any minor hiccup during check-in was promptly resolved by the lobby manager.

Guest UserHygiene: The room was very tidy and clean.
Facilities: All in good working order, simple and practical.
Environment: Located on the back hills of West Lake, the scenery is truly beautiful. However, the immediate vicinity isn't very lively. There's a street nearby with a supermarket and restaurants. The main reason for staying here was its proximity to the shuttle bus stop for Lingyin Temple.
Service: The hotel is very business-oriented. During business events, the rooms are fully booked, so they wouldn't offer an upgrade. Also, at breakfast, when it's busy, they are slow to refill dishes. By 8:30 AM, there were empty trays with no sign of replenishment. The variety was average, just convenient.
Late check-out until 2 PM (subject to room availability).
