Neyar·Shengxia Light and Shadow Terrace Garden Hotel, located in the heart of the West Lake area in Hangzhou, is a high-end standalone hotel meticulously crafted by the Neyar Group. The hotel’s design embodies the essence of “French chic,” seamlessly blending elegance with comfort. Each room is equipped with a smart guest control system, allowing you to adjust lighting, curtains, and air conditioning with just one click. We offer two special room types for you: rooms with comfortable bathtubs, perfect for unwinding and relaxing; and rooms with private garden balconies, where you can step outside and enjoy the greenery, bask in the sunlight during the day, and gaze up at the stars at night, all while enjoying a natural retreat in the heart of the bustling city. Staying here is not just a matter of lodging; it’s a sensory journey into the world of French romance and the charm of West Lake.

"Overall, I was quite satisfied with the stay and service. Traveling with a child, the hotel room was just right for two of us. The room was cleaned daily with no strange odors. We also enjoyed the smart room features, like the robot delivering items, and there's a laundry room available. All in all, it was a good experience. I added the front desk on WeChat, and they were always quick to help with any issues. The hotel is about 1km from the subway, which is a nice walk if you enjoy strolling. Wulin subway station is also very convenient for getting around."

The Jinyuan Hotel (Jinyuan Binguan) is located at the intersection of Qingchun Road and North Zhongshan Road, within walking distance of West Lake, Hangzhou's top attraction, and shopping centers. This Hangzhou hotel hosts spacious, comfortable guestrooms equipped with VOD systems and free internet access. There are many dining options at on-site restaurants. For more local flavors, guests can check out the goods on offer at the popular food street by the hotel.Business guests can take advantage of the 400 square meter banquet hall and seven multi-media conference rooms for their meetings and banquets.

"Thanks to my excellent Ctrip credit, the hotel graciously provided a complimentary upgrade to their best service, which was really nice! The hotel's location is fantastic, very close to Metro Line 1 and West Lake. The staff were incredibly patient and friendly. There are plenty of dining and drink options nearby, and two women walking back to the hotel at 11:30 PM felt perfectly safe. The hotel is very quiet, and the door has an internal lock (I tested it, and you can't open it from the outside with a key card). The windows also lock (the only minor flaw is the lack of curtains). Hangzhou summers are very hot and humid, but the hotel was very dry and even provided a folding drying rack for clothes. The air conditioning was also very powerful. The duvet was thin and very comfortable to sleep under. In the south, it gets bright very early, so the blackout curtains weren't quite sufficient during the day, but they were fine at night. A special tip: There's a 'master switch' on the room's control panel. Don't be lazy like me and turn it off directly before going to sleep, because it controls the air conditioner's power, or you'll wake up sweating!"

This hotel has great style. However, the shampoo is very watery; even with five or six pumps, it's not enough. This doesn't really match the hotel's standards, so perhaps they could switch to a better shampoo. The ceilings are quite high, and the blackout curtains work well, so I slept soundly. The carpet was a bit dirty and could use regular cleaning. The front desk manager was very warm and friendly. There's a large mountain behind the hotel, perfect for a hike. Breakfast was plentiful.

Had a wonderful three-day, two-night stay at the Fuchun Resort, a place I've long admired. The architecture, rich in Chinese aesthetics, blends seamlessly with the natural environment of Fuyang, creating a truly harmonious feel. Hiking here was wonderfully wild and scenic. The resort's thoughtful service was evident in every detail: from the welcome greeting and the consistently helpful and responsive personal butler (Benson) before arrival, to the doorman's proactive and natural assistance with luggage, and the waitress's meticulous inquiry about dietary preferences at breakfast. All these touches reflect the hotel's high standards of service and made me feel truly respected. I even left my hat in the calligraphy class and only realized it when the instructor notified me and said it would be promptly returned to the lobby. The shuttle drivers were also very punctual, almost always available on call. The housekeeping staff were diligent and friendly. The hotel also offers a wide range of activities, and the travel photography service was particularly high quality. Fuchun Resort truly lives up to its reputation as a high-end resort. I'd love to visit again!

I used to think I'd exhausted all there was to experience at West Lake, but my stay at Xizi Hotel made me rediscover it in a whole new light. Every step truly reveals a new vista, a new painting. Wherever you look, the shifting perspectives offer elegant yet expansive landscapes and lake views. It's stunning, like a picture, whether it's deep at night or during the day. It's private and quiet with fewer people, and they even thoughtfully played Pipa music, which really elevated the ambiance. I initially thought it was coming from afar, but it turned out to be hidden in the grass at my feet – a testament to their meticulous attention to detail. I absolutely loved the room they assigned me. When I first walked in, I thought the room wasn't particularly large and the balcony seemed tiny. But then I opened the door, stepped onto the balcony, and it was a whole new world! A long pool stretched before me, a corner of West Lake was right in front of my eyes, and I could hear the sound of flowing water, Pipa music, and rain. That moment of awe will truly stay with me for a long time! Lying in bed, listening to these enchanting sounds, felt like sleeping inside a beautiful scenic video. My trip to Hangzhou this time was very tight, and there were many other arrangements and scenic spots at the hotel that I didn't get to experience or see. I will definitely be back!

InterContinental Qiandao Lake, exclusively occupying the Xian Shan Peninsula, is a scenic destination in itself, perfect for a slow-paced getaway. The hotel offers a rich variety of dining options. The breakfast buffet on the first floor boasts a wide selection, and we enjoyed several excellent meals at the Chinese restaurant. The late-night diner on the fifth floor, opening at 9 PM, became a regular treat for the kids after swimming, serving various instant noodles with fresh eggs and vegetables. There's also a Japanese restaurant outside the lobby, perfect for a relaxed meal after a scenic walk or bike ride around the lake. You can rent bicycles and 'Panda cars' to explore the island. The peninsula is ecologically pristine, with blue butterflies dancing and swallows flitting about, showcasing abundant wildlife. Both indoor and outdoor pools have regularly changed water and are well-maintained. The hotel also has its own yacht pier; simply book at the front desk or buy tickets at the lobby shop for direct access to Huangshan Peak, making travel incredibly convenient. The most heartwarming part of our stay was the housekeeping auntie. When she saw my child's summer homework spread out, she thoughtfully placed an eye-protection desk lamp, noticing the dim light in the room. This small act of kindness was truly touching. With one island, one hotel, far from the hustle and bustle, nestled between the lake and mountains, enjoying nature in peace – this is the ideal state of a vacation.

Although the hotel is a bit old, the hardware is generally well-maintained. However, the cleanliness needs improvement, especially on the balcony where the railings were dusty – even though it's an outdoor area, it still needs better upkeep! Inside, the diamond-patterned room divider, which was trendy back in the day, is indeed hard to clean, but I'm sure the housekeeping department will be able to handle it once they notice it ✊. The breakfast selection is limited; it's filling, but doesn't quite match the hotel's star rating. What truly stood out, however, was the exceptional service. From the concierge to the front desk, the restaurant staff, and even the occasional encounter with housekeeping, everyone was warm, polite, and attentive. Olive, who I contacted via WeChat, was incredibly responsive and efficient in handling any requests, even those I just casually mentioned. For someone who values service above all else, this more than made up for the shortcomings I noted earlier. 😂

It's like living in a forest, with acorns constantly falling from the trees. The hotel is very clean, with virtually no mosquitoes. The room facilities are all excellent, especially the toilet flushing, which isn't too loud. Special praise goes to the hotel staff; their service was exceptionally good from check-in to check-out. They provided afternoon tea with fruit platters, nuts, and tea; offered ginger soup and ice packs if you had a cold; and promptly came to your room to help with any issues. The hotel only offers vegetarian food. I tried it once, and it was quite good and creative. Compared to the Black Pearl Hotel (averaging 1000 RMB per person), it's definitely not quite as good, but it's much better than other vegetarian restaurants in temples. Every ingredient was very fresh, although there were some issues, like the watermelon in the complimentary fruit platter being sweet and the blueberries being extremely sour. If you don't want vegetarian food, the surrounding farmhouses are a good option, offering fish, chicken, stir-fries, etc. I randomly picked a few and none were bad. The hotel also arranged various courses, including a healing class and Baduanjin (Eight Pieces of Brocade). Lying in a cabin surrounded by trees and feeling the breeze on a platform by the forest river was a truly therapeutic experience! I stayed for two days and there were still many courses I didn't get to try, so I'll make up for them next time! I'll consider bringing my parents next time.

We stayed for two nights with our child and absolutely loved it! You definitely have to book a lake view room; the view from the balcony is simply stunning. We spent ages just standing there, soaking in the view every morning and evening! All the staff at the front desk were incredibly kind and enthusiastic. The doorman was also very diligent and responsible, opening car doors, helping with luggage, and being particularly sweet with our child. The ladies at the restaurant were also wonderful; even though breakfast was a buffet, they'd ask what we wanted to eat and drink and even help us get it. Our child couldn't get enough of the infinity pool; renting floats there was very cheap, and they provided towels, which made things so easy. We also tried the fish head soup at the lake view restaurant – it was a bit pricey, but the taste was genuinely different from what you'd find elsewhere. Oh, and the plum juice in the lobby was just delicious! We each had at least two cups every time we passed by. I even saw a delivery driver grab a cup after dropping off an order – very good indeed! 👍

Our stay at Landison Longjing Resort Hangzhou was so memorable and absolutely magnificent that highlights remain sharp, vivid, and immensely uplifting. As tea lovers, it would have been lovely enough to be back in deciduous forests with bursting red maples and bright yellow Ginko trees accentuating autumn colors surrounding the beautifully manicured Longjing (Dragon Well) tea plantations that rest quietly within the hills of the peaceful landscape so very close to the resort—next to and just across the street, in fact! However, our trip’s joys skyrocketed with our stay at the Landison. The staff was totally fantastic! Exceptional service in every way. Working with a phone translator Tracy, Brandy, Wen Yi (I hope his name is spelled correctly!), and Chris provided patient, attentive, and thorough care, concern, and heartwarming attention as they fully considered and answered our many daily questions on where to go, what to do, how to get there and back. (We were thrilled to use the excellent public transportation in and around Hangzhou. The hotel is just meters from the bus stop of two main lines. These buses provided easy connections to other main lines linking us to much of the rest of the city) Staff also guided us where to buy excellent tea, which turned out to be right there at the hotel, as well as from other lovely teashops nearby! Landison’s breakfast menu, included in our booking, remained the same throughout our stay and never disappointed. Every day we enjoyed a large selection of beautiful, delicious food that included fresh fruit, vegetables, egg dishes of differing styles, rice, dim sum, pastries, and our go-to each day: a piping hot bowl of noodles, prepared to order by the chef standing behind the varied selection of noodles and fixings! There was so much fresh, delicious, interesting, vegetarian cuisine we can’t account for the entire extensive buffet. The dining staff was totally incredible with their refined, careful, complete attention. Dining Room Manager Xu became our dear, memorable friend, offering us sweet, caring personal attention and comfort throughout our visit. We couldn’t help feeling disappointed when we didn’t see her the day before we were to leave. When we returned to the hotel for the evening and saw her through a dining room window, we popped into the area to say hello and a magical connection manifested that only world travel can provide, when the distance between two vastly different cultures disappears under the glow of human kindness, warmth, and connection. She provided such outstanding delight for us that our hearts hurt when we had to say goodbye to her. When she translated on her mobile phone, “looking forward to seeing you again,” we smiled broadly and added a very hopeful nod in agreement. Extra lovely perks included nightly delivery of a delicate, nourishing white mushroom soup to keep us warm and help us sleep, a specialty of the establishment. It was tasty and nurturing every day! The housekeeping staff was amiable and friendly, mutually acknowledging and appreciating the human relationship!  In addition, the parking area staff offered cheerful, welcoming, and happy engagement with us throughout our stay. Our extraordinary stay at the Landison is the kind of experience that highlights the vast benefits of world travel where the barriers of worldly concerns and tensions can fade away or even disappear into the significant and transformative mix and engagement with a time and place different from where we come from or know habitually. Where one realizes that, although time and place may differ considerably and provide many positive catalysts for meaningful change, the human heart and mind are inextricably linked together by way of mutual desires for happiness, well-being, safety, expression, and connection, however that may unfold in its immeasurable arrangements. Thank you very much, Landison Longjing Resort Hangzhou, for helping to create an amazing lifetime memory.

The staff were really enthusiastic. Before my stay, I chatted with them to understand what was around the hotel for evening visits and how long it would take to get to Lingyin Temple, and they patiently explained everything. When I left, I forgot my invoice, but after contacting them on WeChat, they promptly helped me get a new one. The overall quality of the front desk staff is excellent. The room was small but perfectly adequate, and I had a very good night's rest. If you're planning to visit Lingyin Temple, the scenic area has traffic restrictions, but there are special shuttle services nearby to take you in. Highly recommended!
