The environment here is absolutely amazing! Surrounded by lush green forests, it's so secluded and private. Strolling along the shaded paths in the morning, with the gentle breeze, the delightful chirping of birds, and the soft gurgle of the stream, it truly helps you escape the city's hustle and bustle and find inner peace. It's the perfect choice for a vacation! The room decor is sophisticated and minimalist, creating a warm and healing ambiance. The blend of traditional Chinese architecture with Western interior design is seamless. The facilities are comprehensive, and many small, easily overlooked details have been thoughtfully taken care of. The dishes at the Republic of China restaurant are delicious, and the breakfast spread is abundant! The butler's thoughtful and meticulous service truly enhanced our stay (for example, they helped us buy watermelons and other fruits when we were thirsty in the heat, and transported our luggage to our next destination after we checked out). The entire stay was worry-free, attentive, and relaxing, offering great value for money. We'll definitely choose this place for our next trip and recommend it to our friends!

This hotel used to be an InterContinental (perhaps a benchmark in the Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Shanghai region), but after the InterContinental brand pulled out, the owner operated it independently under the name 'Free InterContinental Palace'. After the InterContinental de-branding, the hotel significantly increased its recreational activities, adding tennis courts, sound healing, and more. Among the resort hotels in the Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Shanghai area, places like the Xihu State Guest House and Fuchun Resort are quite large, but this hotel's actual scale is even more astonishing. Besides the hotel's own area, the entire Xianshan Peninsula is essentially its public space: in early summer, there are bayberry orchards, and in autumn, the mountains are covered with tangerine trees. You can hike to the top of the back mountain (about 2-3 km), and there's a hidden small 'canyon' in the mountains. If you don't want to dine at the hotel, there's a 'farmhouse restaurant' next door (Xianshan Restaurant). A few hundred meters from the entrance is the lighthouse area, which used to be a pebble beach and has now been converted into a coffee shop/bar. As for the hotel's own hardware, it's roughly on par with the international resort hotels in Yalong Bay around 2010-2012 (Qiandao Lake InterContinental/Hilton/Sheraton all opened around the same time). It's very well-maintained, old but not dilapidated. Compared to the minimalist, trendy new hotels of the past two years, hotels from this period have much more character. Most people come to Qiandao Lake to escape the summer heat, but October-November is when Xianshan Peninsula is at its most beautiful. The tangerines are ripe, the lake water is exceptionally blue on crisp, clear days, and by November, a few ginkgo trees in the hotel turn golden. This hotel also has some special advantages: for example, breakfast is served until 11 AM and includes a dedicated children's dining area. From 9 PM to 11 PM, there's a late-night canteen offering various snacks and instant noodles from all over the world (literally every type of noodle from everywhere!). The concierge team's service is also very attentive and prompt. What can I say? Perfect weather, perfect hotel – 100 out of 10 points! 🥰

The hotel is located right in the heart of Qiandaohu's central lake area, making transportation and sightseeing extremely convenient. For self-driving travelers, there are plenty of parking spaces at the hotel with dedicated staff guiding the way, and they even enthusiastically helped with our luggage—great service! The view from the hotel room balcony is superb, looking out over an unobstructed expanse of lake scenery. You can enjoy both the sunrise and sunset right from your balcony. The room is also very spacious and fully equipped. The morning buffet breakfast offers a wide variety of choices. Additionally, the hotel features numerous entertainment facilities, including water sports, tennis, pickleball, an arcade, and an indoor heated pool, plus a huge children's playground. You could easily spend a whole day just having fun at the hotel without even visiting any tourist attractions. I will definitely choose to stay here again next time I visit Qiandaohu.

Just checked out from this onsen hotel, and my whole family is very satisfied, so I'm writing a good review. The environment is excellent. The courtyard, wooden corridors, and lanterns all have that distinct Kyoto feel, making for great photos. The hot spring is indoors, with clean water, and it feels wonderful after a soak. The family-friendly facilities are comprehensive, with a kids' play area, a picture book corner, and craft activities. The room also provides children's slippers and toiletries, making it very convenient for families with kids. As for dining, the Japanese cuisine is exquisitely prepared, and the children's meals are thoughtfully designed with cute shapes, which my kids absolutely loved.

My stay at Dusit Thani Tianmushan was beyond expectations, and I have to give a special shout-out to Leo, a staff member! Leo was incredibly warm and patient during check-in, meticulously introducing the hotel facilities and local attractions. He was quick to respond to any questions, making me feel well taken care of and truly welcome. The hotel's amenities are perfect for families. There's an indoor natural science exhibition where you can learn about animal and plant specimens. The kids' club boasts a huge ball pit and slides that kept my child entertained, along with gashapon machines and other fun activities for leisure. Our room was clean and tidy, with elegant spatial design. The natural wood aesthetic blended seamlessly with the Tianmushan forest atmosphere. The hotel environment is tranquil and secluded, away from the city's hustle and bustle. You can fully immerse yourself in the peace of the mountains, yet there are plenty of indoor activities. It's ideal for both relaxing getaways and family vacations. With its excellent facilities, I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I visit Tianmushan. Highly recommended!

I specifically chose the Brettonwood Resort for my trip to Qiandao Lake this time, and the overall stay exceeded my expectations – it was absolutely fantastic! Our butler, Mei Mei, was incredibly attentive and deserves a special shout-out! The hotel's location is excellent; I could enjoy the stunning lake and mountain views right from my window. In the mornings, there was a beautiful mist, and in the evenings, gorgeous sunsets. The scenery was truly breathtaking. The front desk staff were warm and patient, and the check-in and check-out process was smooth. Any requests were handled promptly. The resort grounds are serene and elegant, with lush greenery and even a petting zoo. The kids absolutely loved feeding the peacocks, ducks, bunnies, foxes, raccoons, and piglets. It's also very pet-friendly. The breakfast buffet offered a rich variety, especially the noodle and vermicelli station with a wide selection of condiments. They even had homemade chili and ginger, which was a real treat for spice lovers. Parking for self-drivers is convenient, and it's particularly well-suited for family vacations. This will be my top choice for Qiandao Lake; I'll definitely be back!

When booking a hotel in Qiandao Lake, my main concerns were that the older hotels were too dated and the newer ones too expensive. After comparing several options, I decided on a strategy: first, since it was a family trip with kids, it had to be a resort hotel. Second, it absolutely needed to be lakeside with a focus on views and experience. Finally, value for money and hotel amenities were important. That's why I chose this hotel. Upon arrival, the experience was indeed great. The room was spacious, offering a first-row lake view. The pool, petting zoo, and other amenities were all conveniently located within the hotel. The breakfast noodles were particularly distinctive. An evening electric buggy ride around the lake with my family of four was also very pleasant. My only minor complaint is the limited number of charging stations. With more and more electric cars on the road, arriving late in the evening meant no charging spots were available. However, overall, the experience was fantastic, and I would definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit to Qiandao Lake.

Our stay at the First World Hotel was fantastic! The hotel has a rainforest theme, with lush greenery in the atrium, creating a wonderful atmosphere. My kids especially loved riding the deer shuttle bus around the resort. The room was spacious and clean, and the bedding was soft, ensuring a very comfortable sleep. The hotel is well-maintained overall. The front desk staff were warm and efficient, responding promptly to our requests. The breakfast selection was rich, offering both Chinese and Western options, and the food was tasty. The location is unbeatable; we could walk to Rotten Apple Park and Hangzhou Park, and also visit Yunman Hot Spring. It's a one-stop shop for dining, entertainment, and relaxation. Although the hotel has been around for a while, the cleanliness and service are excellent, making it perfect for a short family getaway. It offers great value for money, and we'll definitely be back.

First off, we were greeted by an incredibly warm front desk staff who gave us a free upgrade to a deluxe king room – and wow, it was huge! Super luxurious! We really indulged ourselves! The room facilities were very complete, with both a shower and a bathtub, and a great wet/dry separation in the incredibly spacious bathroom! Room service was excellent, very quick to respond. The hotel itself is very grand, with many hot springs pools, and both indoor and outdoor swimming pools, all very comfortable. The restaurants are also very impressive, and there are several of them. The variety of food was extensive, definitely great value for money! Transportation was also very convenient, with a Sinopec gas station right at the entrance.
