Perfect
GGuest UserThis hotel is hidden deep within the Yunqi Bamboo Trail mountains, which means you don't need an entrance ticket, and they even offer a dedicated shuttle service. Surrounded by lush green bamboo and endless greenery, with the mountain breeze as your companion, the environment is serene and peaceful, creating an incredible ambiance perfect for relaxing and a short getaway. The hotel's overall design is elegantly secluded, blending Jiangnan poetic charm with simple sophistication. The courtyard views are artfully arranged, with every step offering a picturesque scene. From the room window, you're greeted with a full view of the green mountains and forests, making for a quiet, comfortable, and incredibly relaxing stay. The service was the biggest highlight of our entire experience! A special thanks to our butler, Xiao Yu, whose service was professional, thoughtful, and meticulous. Before our arrival, he proactively communicated about our itinerary and needs. Upon checking in, he warmly greeted us and patiently explained the hotel's facilities and nearby attractions. During our stay, he was incredibly responsive, promptly and properly resolving any issues. He was gentle and sincere, with thoughtful touches everywhere that made us feel secure and warm, truly experiencing exclusive and personalized hospitality. The gentle big boy who greeted guests in fluent Russian was also very impressive and handsome! Here, you escape the city's hustle and bustle. Accompanied by the birdsong of the mountains and the refreshing breeze of the bamboo forest, you can slowly enjoy a leisurely time. We felt completely relaxed, making this a hidden gem and a top-notch choice for a high-end, off-the-beaten-path vacation in Hangzhou. Next time I visit Hangzhou, I will definitely choose to stay at Yunzhongjing again!

XxavaioAs expected from a well-established Qiandao Lake hotel, the service is top-notch. They pretty much fulfill every request. The customer service, especially Lisa, was incredibly friendly and offered an amazing personalized concierge experience. The lake view is absolutely stunning, with a spacious balcony offering an unobstructed panorama. It's like a traditional ink wash painting (highly recommend seeing it on both sunny and rainy days, each has its own charm). I wouldn't really recommend the 2nd-floor Chinese restaurant, unless you're with a large group and have no other options. It's much better to walk a short distance to the neighboring town and try the local restaurants. Even though it's Hangzhou, the local Qiandao Lake cuisine is surprisingly spicy, so be mindful when ordering! ⚠️

GGuest UserThe hotel is small but exquisite, with a serene and elegant Japanese Zen garden. The rooms are clean and spacious, and the private hot spring baths are wonderfully relaxing and therapeutic. The amenities are refined and comprehensive. The butler service is thoughtful and attentive, making the check-in experience feel truly special. The food is fresh and delicious, and the 'nine-grid' breakfast is quite unique.

CCeciliaOverall, it was good and felt like a home away from home. There are no twin-bed rooms with full lake views, so we had to book a partial lake view room. The air conditioning in the room seemed a bit weak; even in May, we had to set it to maximum fan speed and the lowest temperature to feel comfortable. I wonder how it will cope in the peak summer. The breakfast restaurant's food quality and service need some improvement. The waitstaff looked unhappy, as if they were dreading their shift. Although the restaurant opens at 7 AM, steamed dim sum wasn't brought out until 7:20 AM. Guests who had to catch early trains couldn't enjoy hot buns and coarse grains. The coffee machine was broken, and the mini wontons were overcooked. I hope breakfast can be more diverse and less formulaic, so guests staying two nights or more can try different dishes each day.

GGuest UserThe weather has been very good recently. I took advantage of the end of the holiday to bring my family to Tonglu. The hotel environment is great with mountains and water, and the view from the room is also top-notch. The hotel's public area is very large, occupying a hilltop. The children had a lot of fun playing on the lawn. There are also cafes, gyms and swimming pools so they won't be bored. The next day I went to OMG Heartbeat Park, which is not far from the hotel by car for about 20 minutes. I recommend it.

GGuest UserWe chose this hotel primarily for its promise of a secluded, nature-connected experience and its on-site hot springs—a perfect antidote to busy city life. The room was warm, cozy, and wonderfully quiet. The bed was big and incredibly comfortable, ensuring great sleep. The bathroom was spacious and well-appointed. The best feature was the house's layout—separated from others, it felt private, secluded, and truly integrated with the natural surroundings. It was the peaceful haven we needed. The hotel territory is vast and beautifully maintained, perfect for calming walks. The dining experience was excellent: the food was tasty, presented in a clean environment, and offered a satisfying variety. Unfortunately, the main attraction became a source of stress. The culture of quiet, therapeutic relaxation expected at a hot spring was completely absent. The most visitors were behaving like they are in a public swimming pool, with yelling and kids jumping, splashing, and running around. This chaotic atmosphere made it impossible to relax or enjoy the springs' intended benefits. It felt like a disaster for anyone seeking the tranquil, restorative experience hot springs are known for. Despite the hot springs issue, our overall stay was very nice, thanks to the superb room, excellent food, and beautiful grounds. The core product—the accommodation—is outstanding. I will definitely return, but I will plan my visit for a much less busy period (perhaps weekdays or off-holidays). If you are seeking solitude and quiet, I highly recommend the rooms but advise cautious timing for the hot springs. This place has all the ingredients for a perfect retreat; you just need to find the right moment to enjoy them fully.

GGuest UserThe room was okay. We brought our cat and paid an extra 260/day for pet cleaning, which was 520 for two nights. However, the cleaning lady only spent less than 10 minutes cleaning (we stayed with her as we didn't want our cat to be scared). That was acceptable. The worst part was the breakfast. Not only was there hardly anything to choose from, but when I asked a slightly chubby waitress to make me a coffee (the coffee machine was incredibly slow, and I had been queuing with my food for over 10 minutes. When it was finally my turn, the machine showed an error and needed cleaning, so I asked the waitress to bring an Americano to my table), she told me she was too busy to help. At that point, I just threw my plate down and walked away. The service was absolutely terrible. And the so-called 'infinity pool' looked out onto barren land. I really do not recommend this place at all. The breakfast service staff were just awful.

TtaynealyPositives: 😁 This hotel 🏨 is GORGEOUS. Absolutely beautiful. I couldn’t decide which photos to use for my photoshoot because there are so many great pictures. The hotel is perfect for instagram or social media. The service 👨✈️ was amazing. The staff are very friendly and accommodating to all our needs. The manager went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. The food 🍱 was delicious! There are many different choices and set options. We especially loved the fried pork. Negatives: 😕 Location 📍you can’t hike or explore anywhere around this hotel. You are essentially stuck to this property. All activities are at least 30min-2 hour drive away. Room design 🛏️ I included this in the photos, the bed is on a wooden stand with sharp edges and it’s very easily to run into it and forget it’s there. My bf and I both hit our shins pretty hard on it, it was painful. Drinks🥂 it was my birthday and I wanted to enjoy some cocktails or champagne with this view, but you are limited to beer 🍺 only. Just bottled Budweiser and Tsingtao. Overall, I’d stay again if I wanted to relax in peace for the weekend. Bring your own alcohol.

__M1362186****I read a lot of negative reviews before coming, so my expectations weren't very high. Naturally, every experience and feeling exceeded them. First, regarding the complaints about poor hygiene and facilities, I didn't experience that at all. The room had both air conditioning and underfloor heating, so it was very warm as soon as I entered. Everywhere I went was also very clean (perhaps because Phase 3 is newer). I also didn't find the service to be poor; in fact, I felt that every staff member I encountered was very polite. As for the hot springs, the pools in Phases 2 and 3 are a bit spread out and require a shuttle bus. Aside from the most popular influencer-heavy pool, the water quality in the other pools was quite good. Objective issues: We arrived late for dinner and could only be seated in the outdoor makeshift dining area. Although there were heaters and windbreaks, it couldn't be fully enclosed, and with a slight breeze in January, it still felt a bit chilly. (Our breakfast and dinner were buffets included in the package, and the food was really mediocre. If it's not part of your package, I wouldn't recommend paying for it; there are many restaurants nearby.) Also, walking between the hot springs can be quite cold (even though the shuttle buses have curtains). Overall, my family was very satisfied, and I hope to have such a good experience again next time.

MMoYii have been to the hot springs three times before but I had never stayed at the hotel. This was my first time. I imagine the receptionist felt a little nervous when faced with two foreigners and maybe she felt shy. However, I found her lack of greeting, not a 你好 or 下午好, a little cold. When she did communicate with us, it was in super fast Mandarin to which I requested 请慢慢说 to no avail. She repeated just as fast twice more. I felt frustrated and then resorted to using a translation app. She called over an English-speaking Indonesian staff member. I don’t have the expectation that people will speak English to me, but I do appreciate slowing down in Mandarin and using simpler language. Hand gestures help a lot also. I wish she had told us the WiFi password, and where to access the hot springs. These are two key pieces of information a receptionist should provide when you check into a hot springs hotel. Our room had plastic flip flops to be worn to the hot springs. My pair had two left feet. When I showed the staff member on the second floor, she was helpful and got me a new pair. The hot springs were lovely, as usual. The buffet breakfast was better than the buffet dinner. The layout of the hotel leaves you walking from building to building. At first it’s confusing, but then it becomes okay.
