The hotel's Chinese garden-style architecture is beautiful, and within a few minutes' walk from the back entrance, you can reach the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and the Grand Tang Everbright City, which is super convenient for families with kids. The service was thoughtful and attentive. This is a perfect choice for families visiting Xi'an with children. We'll definitely choose it again next time!"

"For my trip to Xi'an, I stayed at the well-established and upscale Sheraton Hotel. While the decor has a bit of a vintage feel, the hotel is very well-maintained overall. The room cleanliness was exceptional; daily housekeeping was thorough, towels were changed promptly, and everything was spotless. The hotel's facilities were comprehensive, and the service was particularly attentive and detailed. Requests like luggage assistance and room service were responded to very quickly, and the staff were all gentle and thoughtful. The surrounding area also offered convenient access to transportation and amenities. Overall, it provided great value for money. As a long-standing five-star hotel, its service standards are definitely up to par. I had a wonderful stay and highly recommend it for anyone visiting Xi'an."

"I was in Xi'an for a business trip, and since my company is close to this hotel, I decided to stay here. The experience was great! It's a five-star hotel, and the staff were very welcoming. My room was spacious and clean, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The breakfast spread was also excellent with a wide variety of choices. Even during check-out, the front desk staff were still very friendly and sent me off with a warm farewell. Overall, I highly recommend it!"

"Review in English Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this hotel. We arrived quite late, that is true, but the hotel advertised a 24-hour reception. When we arrived, there was no one at the reception. We had to walk around nearby bars to find someone from the hotel. When the receptionist finally appeared, he smelled of alcohol and cigarettes, and he came with a cigarette in his mouth, which made a very poor first impression. The room was in a very bad condition when it came to cleanliness. As soon as we entered, it was obvious that the sink countertop had not been properly cleaned — it was dusty and covered in streaks. The mirror was dirty and splashed, there was limescale on the shower tap, and the bed frame was also stained. Under the armchair, we found someone else’s electronic cigarette, which clearly showed that the room had not been properly cleaned after the previous guests. There was dust everywhere, and the overall impression was that cleanliness was not taken seriously at all. Another major issue was the noise. The room had a view of the railway tracks, which may sound interesting, but in reality it meant very loud nights. The hotel clearly knows about this problem, as earplugs were provided in the room. Unfortunately, even with the earplugs, I could not sleep properly and kept waking up throughout the night. The swimming pool was also very disappointing. The hotel advertises it as one of its facilities, but in reality it was more like a very shallow paddling pool, with water only around ankle-deep. The area was dirty, the water did not look inviting, and no one was using it. On top of that, the pool is not exclusive to hotel guests — it is shared with several nearby bars and buildings, so it does not feel private or comfortable at all. The only positive thing was that there was a shower available, because the bathtub in the room was so dirty that it was not suitable for use. Its condition was very unpleasant and raised serious hygiene concerns. Overall: very poor cleanliness, unprofessional service, extreme noise, a disappointing pool, and a very bad experience in general. I definitely do not recommend this hotel."

"My stay here was excellent. The location is super convenient, really close to the Bell Tower, making it easy to go out and explore or grab a bite. The room decor is simple yet stylish, and everything was spotless. The bedding was really comfortable, too. The butler service was very responsive and paid great attention to detail. Overall, the atmosphere was quiet and relaxing, making for a very pleasant trip. I highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Xi'an and would definitely consider staying here again next time."

"Great location, right next to the Grand Tang Mall. Easy to catch a taxi and convenient for sightseeing. The rooms are spacious, though a bit far from the elevator – it took my other family members two minutes to walk from the elevator to their rooms. The breakfast was delicious and definitely recommended! 😂"

"Excellent, highly recommended! The hygiene and facilities are top-notch, including a great swimming pool and gym. The rooms are very spacious, and the service is spot-on. The hotel's location is also fantastic and very convenient. The restaurants within the hotel are delicious – we tried several, and none of them disappointed. Definitely recommend!"

"The hotel's garden-like environment is excellent, offering a peaceful retreat despite being centrally located. It's just a few minutes' walk from Wulukou subway station, and you can easily walk to the Bell Tower and Yisu Folk Custom Area. As for the room, it has all the necessary amenities and meets standard expectations, though it is a bit dated. However, it was very clean, and having a bathtub was a real treat after a long day of walking."

Room: The guest rooms were brand new and spotless. The overall living experience was comfortable and pleasant, making it suitable for caregivers, business travelers, or leisure stays. Mercure Xi'an Downtown
"Unfortunately i didn't take many pictures but recorded videos. I booked a room type as shown in the first but received something smaller as the one in the second pic, weirdly cut. I didn't notice it as first as i was distracted by the strong smoke smell and asked the lady to change, who tried to sell me a qin shi huang mausoleum tour. Then i was brought to a room type as the one in the first pic, that's when i realised that's what i initially had booked... but there was still a smoke smell and as i really had to use the toilet i simply thought of using the A/C and opening the window, hoping it'd get better. By the evening i got startled by someone knocking at the door only to realise it was someone knocking on my neighbouring door. That's when i realised there was a 1-2cm gap between the floor and door and why i heard that loud knock. I also noticed neighbouring doors were fine and even asked the neighbouring guests if they could hear me. Anyway; that's when i demanded for a second change and only then, when i was a bit assertive and insisting on a new room, did i get a proper room. But there was small issue with the 3rd room too, with the drainage as the water took around 5mins to flow away, making noise. But that wasn't an big issue. It seems like this hotel seems to follow the procedure to give problematic rooms to customers who seem easy-going, which is a known tactic to chinese people from china but not so to foreigners. Beside of that, my stay was pleasant, the breakfast was rich and they have a big variety. I just think it was a bit of a waste of time trying to sell those tobacco smell rooms to me. You can easily fix those by endorsing proper no smoking rules or use a filter machine before, removing smoke. Beside of the convenience as it's really close to all main attractions i just find those actions subpar. Which is an issue with whoever decides to implement such strategies."
