Very close to the subway and surprisingly quiet, with a cool retro decor. It was super convenient for getting around.
You absolutely HAVE to try the rice noodles for breakfast! I ate them for three days straight, haha. They come with a stir-fried meat sauce that's incredibly delicious.
The aunties and the front desk staff were all so thoughtful and accommodating. They helped with everything I asked for, even printing dozens of pages of my contract!
**Double Indulgence Afternoon Tea Buffet**: Highly recommended, with fruits, pastries, and coffee.

PangniuniuyoOverall, it was okay. I booked through Trip.com, and later inquired about breakfast benefits, only to be told that these benefits are only available if booked directly through HUAZHU. I then checked the news online and saw Trip.com was being fined. So, I had no choice but to cancel my original booking and rebook a room with breakfast for an additional cost on Trip.com. Upon arrival, after checking in, I found the air conditioning wasn't cooling. I called for maintenance, and they said there was no problem. We reluctantly stayed one night... Since I was traveling with a child and came to Xi'an for the sights and food, to avoid constant moving, after negotiating with the hotel, I paid extra to switch to a twin room. The following days were spent visiting attractions, and I barely ate the hotel breakfast. Later, I heard that hotel breakfasts are usually complimentary if booked through HUAZHU... In short, the member breakfast redemption and free room upgrade benefits seem a bit chaotic!? I hope the platform strengthens its rectification efforts. Everything else was quite good; the facilities were decent, it was clean, the environment was nice, and the location near the Drum Tower in the city center was convenient with enthusiastic service.

Guest UserThe room amenities are fully equipped; the mini-fridge has a good selection of drinks and tea, and the fresh fruit tea in the lobby bar is also very refreshing. I particularly loved the pomegranate trees on the third-floor terrace; they perfectly complement the Xi'an atmosphere, instantly bringing to mind scenes from 'One and Only.' The hotel's back exit provides direct access to the Giant Wild Goose Pagoda, which is very convenient for evening strolls to the Grand Tang Mall. The breakfast spread is also quite extensive, and the coffee, in particular, is very rich and smooth. Throughout my stay, I truly felt at home.

Xiaofeixia1968My stay at the Hampton by Hilton Xi'an Dayan Pagoda from June 13th for two nights exceeded my expectations. The guest room's feature wall had a custom, hand-painted mural of the Dayan Pagoda in a traditional Chinese style. The elegant purple-toned ancient architectural patterns were very appealing, allowing me to immerse myself in the ancient charm of Chang'an without even leaving the room – the design truly captured the local character. The room was clean and odor-free, the bedding was soft and fluffy, and the pillows were just the right height, ensuring a comfortable night's sleep. Both sides of the bed had wall lamps and charging outlets, showing thoughtful and practical design details. The hotel's location is excellent; I could walk to the Dayan Pagoda and Datang Everbright City, making it very convenient to return after an evening stroll. Check-in at the front desk was efficient, and the service was warm and attentive. The self-service breakfast included a rich variety of Shaanxi local snacks. The hotel facilities were complete. This will be my top choice for future visits to Xi'an, and I will definitely book here again.

bea1234## Transportation
The biggest takeaway from staying here is how convenient it is to get around! The hotel is right in the heart of the ancient city, just a few minutes' walk from the Bell Tower, Drum Tower, and Muslim Quarter. It's also very close to Zhonglou Station for Metro Lines 2 and 6, and there are plenty of bus stops right outside. Getting to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda or the Grand Tang Everbright City by taxi only costs about ten yuan. Plus, the hotel offers a free airport shuttle service, which is a huge bonus!
## Soundproofing and Comfort
I had a very peaceful stay this time. Initially, I was worried it might be noisy at night being in the city center, but the soundproofing is surprisingly good – I slept like a baby. The room type I booked was very spacious, and the floor-to-ceiling windows made it feel bright and airy. The mattress was just right, not too soft and not too firm, and they even use deep sleep memory foam pillows. Overall, it was very quiet and comfortable; I wasn't disturbed by any outside noise at all.
## Service and Facilities
Both the front desk staff and the housekeeping aunties were incredibly warm and patient. The room had a dry/wet separation in the bathroom, and the cleaning was very thorough. What's more, I was pleasantly surprised to find that the hotel provides a laundry room and robot delivery service. There's even free chilled plum juice in the lobby – they really pay attention to the little details.

Guest User⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
This hotel boasts an excellent location in the heart of Xi'an, very close to the Bell and Drum Towers and right next to the Muslim Quarter. It's incredibly convenient for sightseeing, shopping, and transportation.
The front desk service was exceptionally warm and thoughtful! We booked two rooms, and the staff proactively upgraded our room types and arranged connecting rooms, which was perfect for our family to look after each other. They even thoughtfully prepared welcome fruits, and seeing that our child was tired from the journey, they specially sent over a small gift. So many thoughtful details!
The room's amenities were good, and it was generally clean and tidy. This hotel is definitely worth choosing for a trip to Xi'an. Highly recommended!

The hotel facilities are good and it's clean. The bed is really soft and comfortable. The cleanliness is quite satisfactory; there are no stains on the bedding, and the floors are clean. The hotel is conveniently located near Keji Road subway station, making transportation quite easy. They also offer complimentary afternoon tea with black tea and parking vouchers.

Guest UserThe location is fantastic, right next to the landmark Bell Tower. You just exit subway station B, and the lobby entrance is about 50 meters to your left. We chose a room with an excellent location; it was very clean and comfortable. The self-service laundry room on the 6th floor was also very convenient. If the timing wasn't right, we could even call the front desk to have them wash and dry our clothes and deliver them to our room. This service was a lifesaver during our stay, keeping our clothes fresh and dry, so we didn't have to go home with smelly laundry.

The gym is not a gym. It is a laundry room with a cheap looking bike in it. Might be a treadmill as well.
The laundry room is very useful. There are 3 washers and 3 dryers. There could be a system to help manage people's washes so that the machines were not left standing full as when I tried to use them they were all in use for most of the evening.
The biggest problem I had in an otherwise good stay was that the amount of dust in the rooms. On all surfaces (pictured some dust on the phone and a thick layer on the projector) there is dust. When I reported this a quick wipe of the projector was done but no apology or anything like this and no other areas were dusted. The room (and probably hotel) needs a deep clean.
The projector worked easily enough for me and was good, though I took my own hdmi cable that I plugged into the back, rather than using their system which I had no idea how to use and didn't see any instructions.
Overall this hotel was good enough and good for the price but not as good as the rating suggests or the list of amenities could be.

Guest UserChoosing the UrCove by Hyatt for my trip to Xi'an was absolutely the right decision – it truly lives up to its Hyatt sub-brand reputation. When checking in, the two lovely ladies at the front desk were incredibly kind, patient, and thoughtful. They answered all my questions, meticulously arranged everything according to my requests left on Trip.com (even changing the welcome fruit to sugar-free cherry tomatoes as requested), and upgraded us to a deluxe room directly because of availability.
The lobby on the first floor is spacious, bright, and elegantly decorated. They offer complimentary drinks, and I was particularly happy to see lemon-cucumber water, which is perfect for us elderly folks with diabetes. The room itself was unexpectedly huge! The bedroom, bathroom, and shower room were all exceptionally spacious. The facilities and linens were brand new, and the bathroom amenities were high quality. There were plenty of charging outlets strategically placed to meet various needs. The electric curtains and smart mattress were a godsend for relieving travel fatigue – truly an excellent stay experience.
The hallway carpets and wallpaper were spotless, and the incredibly large elevator lobby on our floor was also tastefully decorated (it felt like the biggest elevator lobby I've ever seen in a hotel!). Even the cleaning staff on our floor were very polite, always greeting guests with a smile and a nod. In the evening, the coffee bar on the first floor offered complimentary eight-treasure porridge and small pickles.
Beyond all that, the hotel's location is truly exceptional. It's just a 7-minute walk to Beidajie Metro Station (from where you can take the subway directly to Xianyang Airport – it's convenient, less crowded, costs 8 yuan, and takes 1 hour and 25 minutes). Alternatively, you can take the airport shuttle (Zhonglou line) to the Bell Tower Hotel, which costs 25 yuan and takes 1 hour and 10 minutes (allow 1 hour and 20 minutes for the return trip). The surrounding snack streets (popular with both tourists and locals) are simply countless – Muslim Quarter, Xiyang Market, Sajinqiao – all within walking distance. You'll find all the popular, 'insta-famous' snacks there. Getting to attractions, the metro, buses, or shared bikes is incredibly convenient.
Next time I'm in Xi'an, I will definitely choose to stay at UrCove by Hyatt again. I highly, highly recommend it!
