GGuest UserThe room was very clean, and the overall environment was great. The staff's service attitude was excellent. Since I arrived in Xi'an quite early, I called the front desk beforehand, and they allowed me to check in directly at 12 PM. Any requests I had for the room were promptly attended to by the front desk. Plus, the hotel is conveniently located right above a subway station. Highly recommend!

TTinaMThis is a lovely hotel with kind, welcoming staff. I read some reviews saying the rooms are very old etc, but I don't see how that makes this hotel any less great - the rooms are still clean and well maintained. I arrived in Xi'an after 48 hours of hectic traveling due to a missed train, and the staff at Meihao Hotel were very welcoming, were happy to use translation apps to communicate with me. The room was large, with a view of the neighbourhood outside (mostly just traffic jams haha, but that's Xi'an). The location may not be super ideal for some as it isn't in the city centre, but honestly it was no inconvenience at all, as the nearest subway station is a brisk walk away -- about 5-7 minutes. If you're arriving by train and carrying a lot of heavy luggage, then yes, coming via subway might be a bit of a challenge (but not impossible!)
The housekeeping staff especially were very warm and kind. Thank you for always brightening my day when I walked by you all.
A few hours after I checked in, a lovely staff member knocked on my door and offered me a small bowl of soup. I was very confused as I hadn't ordered anything, but upon seeing other guests were receiving this too, I gladly accepted. It was such an unexpected, kind gesture -- this hotel truly knows how to make one feel welcome.
I fell ill on the second day of my stay, and thankfully the room was so comfortable, I could recuperate well. My only complaint is that the bedsheets, comforter, pillowcases etc -- all the bedding essentially smells of cigarette smoke. I could also smell cigarette smoke from beyond my room's door at night. This was despite there being a clear sign in the room saying smoking was not allowed inside. Though this is certainly not something you can fault hotel staff for (if guests are adamant to smoke inside, what can housekeeping possibly do?), I just thought I would mention this for any other guests who might be very sensitive to the smell, perhaps you could request staff to rewash the bedding until the smoke smell is entirely gone.
After checking out, I also noticed there were some freebies that were part of my booking that I unfortunately missed out on :( There was meant to be welcome fruit, afternoon tea for two and a midnight snack, which I would have loved to try. There was no welcome fruit offered, but I did receive some refreshing juice when I arrived to check in -- it was a hot day and I was grateful for the welcome drink. For the other stuff, as I didn't realise it was part of the booking perks, I never asked, and consequently seem to have missed out.
I also want to say that aside from the rooms, the lobby area is quite lovely -- very tastefully decorated, peaceful, and I even saw they had some free coffee out for guests! I only noticed this when I was checking out though, and my taxi was already on the way to pick me up, so I could not indulge. Maybe it would be helpful if the reception staff could share all this info with guests when they check in, especially with the foreign guests who are already a bit confused and trying to get their bearings ^-^ Just a suggestion! Thank you for a nice stay. I will definitely be back again soon.

This trip to Xi'an with my child, we stayed at the Bell Tower Manxin, and the overall experience was fantastic! The hotel's location is superb, just a 390-meter walk to Beidajie subway station. You can also walk to the Bell Tower and Muslim Street, making it incredibly convenient for sightseeing and finding food.
We stayed in a family room. My child is quite grown up, and I specifically chose this room because it had a large bed, spacious enough for both parents. The child's bed was also 1.5 meters, so the room felt spacious and not cramped. The adorable little yellow duck themed bedding and the mini tent setup added a great sense of occasion – my child was thrilled the moment we walked in. It was comfortable for two adults and one child to sleep in.
Attention to detail at the hotel was excellent. Breakfast is served until 11 AM, so you don't miss it even if you sleep in. The breakfast selection was also very rich! They even offer a free airport pick-up service, and various convenient services really made a great impression.
The staff were attentive and meticulous, and the MiniBar was fully stocked. As it just opened in 2024, the hardware is brand new, and the facilities are clean with no strange odors. At just over 500 [yuan/currency], the value for money in the Bell Tower area is unparalleled. If you're coming to Xi'an with kids, this place is a no-brainer – you won't regret it!

AAndeeryingzhengThis hotel boasts a traditional garden-style architecture and is incredibly convenient for transport. It's just a 4-minute walk from the exit of Metro Lines 3 and 4. There's also a back gate that leads directly to the North Square of the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, and further south you'll find the Pagoda itself, the Grand Tang Mall, and the Tang Paradise, making it super easy to explore. The rooms are well-equipped, even featuring smart toilets. The staff are exceptionally warm and helpful, offering thoughtful advice on nearby tourist routes. It was a really pleasant stay.

JJeffreycdThe hotel's location is fantastic, right by the Grand Tang Mall (Datang Buyecheng) – a quiet oasis in the bustling city. Just around the corner, there are restaurants serving authentic Xi'an cuisine. We booked a family room, which was very spacious, and the mattress was super comfortable. My child especially loved the sofa bed. The breakfast spread was generous, and there were plenty of bottled water bottles in the elevator lobby, so we could just grab a few on our way back to the room, saving us the hassle of calling for water. All in all, it's excellent value for money. We'll definitely choose Hampton again on our next trip to Xi'an!

GGuest UserThis hotel is located right in the heart of the city, on Guangji Street, with a subway entrance just outside and a direct shuttle to the Terracotta Warriors – super convenient for getting around. It’s right next to the Muslim Quarter, offering a fantastic array of snacks, especially the Jia San steamed buns with soup and the Qishan noodles from Ziwu Road – both delicious and great value for money. The hotel rooms are spacious, clean, and well-maintained. The front desk staff are incredibly warm and helpful, always ready to assist with anything, and they even provide breakfast, afternoon tea, and late-night snacks. The aunties in the dining area are also exceptionally friendly. All the services are delivered with great care, making it absolutely deserving of a five-star rating. Plus, if you're looking for Han-Tang style makeup and costumes, you can find a shop directly across from the hotel. The quality of the clothing and the makeup artistry are both excellent, and the value is unbeatable.

The area has a particularly pleasant atmosphere at night, with many shops and restaurants that make the stay even more enjoyable.
The hotel staff were extremely kind and attentive at all times, helping us with every question we had during our stay. The room was very spacious, comfortable, and in excellent condition. As a small personal remark, I found the bed a little firm, although this ultimately depends on individual preference.
Without a doubt, a highly recommended hotel.

It's incredibly convenient for subway travel, making it effortless to explore the Muslim Quarter and the South Gate. GGuest UserHighly recommended! If you're visiting Xi'an, this Atour Hotel is a top choice. Its location immediately earns major points, being right in the heart of the city center. You can walk to the Muslim Quarter and Bell Tower, and it's close to the subway, making it super easy to get to all the major attractions. Shopping and finding food couldn't be more convenient.
The hotel recently opened, so all the facilities are brand new and well-equipped. The bed linen is clean and soft, and the entire room is meticulously cleaned with no corners missed; the cleanliness exceeded my expectations. I have to specifically praise the entire staff's service. The front desk was efficient and thoughtful during check-in, and the housekeeping and lobby staff were all kind. Any requests were quickly addressed, and they even kindly offered complimentary coffee at the lobby bar, which was perfect for a fun get-together with my friends!
Just a couple of minor drawbacks: I'm quite sensitive, and there was still a faint scent of new decoration in the room. Luckily, the bathroom has a window, so leaving it slightly open for ventilation helped a lot. Also, my room faced the street, and with the window open, you could hear the bustling traffic, especially in the mornings and evenings, which slightly affected my sleep.
However, these minor issues don't detract from the overall excellent stay. The value for money is definitely there, and I'll be rebooking here on my next trip to Xi'an!
The hotel also offers traditional Tang Dynasty costumes and complimentary airport shuttle service, which I didn't get to experience due to personal reasons. For those who need it, it's a great perk that makes the room rate even more worthwhile!
