Amazing
SShaf1quePerfectly located at Nagano station - connected by walkway bridge with Don Quijote just a few steps away.
The staff at front desk were fantastic, always smiling and proactive too! The room is a littler dated but more than comfortable for the night. Amenities at lobby were good enough to get by too, PJs provided at each room floor.
Good stopover if you are going for a day trip to the Snow Monkey Park.
LLYvonneOne of the bigger hotel rooms I have stayed in Japan so far. Free welcome cake and drink, free unlimited ice cream during your stay and a small treat when checking out. They also have the most variety of tea available for you to enjoy during your stay.
The hotel is also quite close to the Nagano station. You can see the hotel building when you exit the East exit.
MM38943****The location is super convenient, really close to the subway, making it easy to get anywhere! It's my top pick for a layover. The service attitude is also great! The room is small but has everything you need, and the breakfast buffet is pretty good too!
CcicadaleeThere are only about 10 suites within the Onsen resort.
The hotel’s location is about 10mins drive from Nagano’s JR station. The resort is opened to public and hotel guests share the facility. There are a variety of Onsen pools both indoor and outdoor. A very different experience totally.
Staff are friendly though only one or two did their best for English speaking tourist like me.
We booked the Shinyi room.
GGuest UserRoom is abit small but for short stay it’s ok. Thank you for setting up the bed for us before checking in as we have 3 person. Is only about 5 mins walk from Nagano station. Easy to locate and there’s a small ramen restaurant and sushi right next to Hotel and also Wendy’s burger. There is no bottled water provided in the room. Saw from reviews that Hotel will provide coins to buy bottled water from vending machine however I didn’t see any. Anyway, it’s small matter, no issue. Great 1 nite stay. Will consider staying the same hotel next time.
GGuest UserThe room was slightly small compared to what you usually get in Japan, but the relatively spacious public bath facilities, laundry/rest area, etc., make up for that. The bathroom of the room was extremely modern. We would definitely stay here again.
IIvanReceptionist was very friendly, recommending places to eat and things to do. Room was clean. The washing machine is free to use. Bed was very soft and comfortable. Location is about 15-20 mins walk from nagano station. And about 10 mins walk to zenkoji temple, you can wake up early and walk to see the early morning prayer that occurs at sunrise.
Lots of food options as it is beside gondo shopping street
GGuest UserGood, the service is in place, the facilities are a little old, but completely acceptable, there is free parking service, it is some distance from the station, the convenience store is very close, in general, the price/performance ratio is good.
AAnonymous UserVery good location, just opposite the train station. Reception is on level 2, but staff is helpful to help carry luggages to and fro ground floor.
Room is small and toilet is squeezy, but still decent for a short stay. There is a Shampoo Bar at the reception to pick up stoiletries.
Breakfast is good, the complimentary soba noodles on selected weekday nights is also great. Nice view from the 10th floor, and also free space for customers to chill during the day.
Water was not provided complimentary to customers but instead was earned through a game.
