"It's very close to the station. Fortunately, it's close. It was snowing heavily when I went there, so it was hard to walk on the road. The room is not big, and the suitcase can be opened by the door. There is a self-service toiletries on the first floor, luggage storage, and a self-service breakfast. There are quite a lot of people, and the dishes are okay, and you can eat enough. Free coffee is provided on the first floor during a certain period of time. The nearest convenience store is opposite the station. However, when it snowed, they didn't even sprinkle antifreeze at the door, and the snow was all the way to the door."

"I was happy with breakfast and welcome drinks. Women don't have to say if they have a large bath. However, it is a pity that I could hear footsteps several times from above in the middle of the night and couldn't sleep well. Thank you."

"The staff was very helpful and professional. Before our stay, I inquired about shipping our luggage to the airport, and as we checked in they had information for me for when I needed to bring my luggage down. Also, I didn't need to do any of the paperwork (as I did at Karaska Hotel in Tokyo). The staff took care of everything for me. All I had to do was pay for it. The hotel is connected to the train station via the Midori market place. From the second floor of the hotel we accessed the Midori market area where we purchased a lof of our omiyage(gifts for friends). The train station had about 4 floors of stores attached to it. We had breakfast at the train station -- a small udon stand. The location was very good and I would definitely book here again. The train station has a pedestrian bridge on the second floor that connects to the Don Quixote across the street. 2 km away is the Zenkoji Temple, where there is a shopping street and a large Buddhist temple to visit. Our room was cleaned every day and they were very conscientious and very careful. They left a note saying that any cups with liquids are left as is just in case. There was three of us sharing a room with two singles and an additional bed. The room was spacious even with three of us sharing. There was a little table with two chairs on the side."

"They have a pocketgo so translating to your own language is hassle-free. Also the staff were very accommodating. The food was sooooo good. めちゃくちゃ美味しかった! And the room I was in overlooked the beautiful mountains so every morning was bliss!"

"Toyoko Inn is always my go to when travelling outside of Tokyo. Location is always fantastic, rooms are clean, beds comfortable and you get everything you need (including breakfast)."

"Room was extremely worth it's pricing with the cleanliness and you could feel the exquisiteness of the hotel from entering through the main doors all the way to your room. Walking distance to multiple interesting areas such as Zenkoji Temple and very pretty eateries around the area. 1 extremely disturbing thing was whereby 1 of the huge mirrors by the make up table was right infront of our beds which made my family and I have a paranoid night stay. Other wise everything was top tier!"

"The location of hotel is good. It's a good concept for cafe + hotel. The hotel room is just ok/small size. It's a dorm type. The earliest check in is 4pm as that's when the staff will be around as the staff also managing the cafe too which open only in the evening."

"1) Location: Get off at Zhongshe and walk about 3-400 meters. You can reach it in a straight line. 2) Hotel: Decorated in the 1980s-1990s, there is no heating in the corridor, but there is heating in the room, and the temperature is suitable. There is no bathing in the hotel. The hot spring is in a large covered tub. There is no heating in the shower room and toilet. 3) Meals: You can order them at the hotel. The boss’s skills are pretty good and delicious, but not very cheap. [Five-star recommendation] Try to avoid bringing a trolley suitcase in winter. The road is too difficult to walk. It is uphill to get to the hotel. I arrived at night and fell a few times. It was too painful."

"The room here was genuinely spacious, with plenty of room to fully open our suitcases! However, the mini-fridge was quite small, only fitting a few drinks. On the bright side, they provided complimentary makeup remover, toner, lotion, and bath salts. Unfortunately, the smoking room still had a very strong, lingering smell of smoke. We notified the front desk, and they promptly performed a deodorizing treatment, which was very efficient. However, likely due to long-term use as a smoking room, a faint odor still persisted."

"The hotel is nicely situated between the train station and the temple. The room was clean and the staff very efficient. The lobby area had a welcoming area that had free soft drinks and teas and coffee as well as small snacks in the afternoon. We had to delay my arrival a day due to a delay that set us back a day and whilst this was not a problem to sort with the hotel I did still have to pay the full day. Technically this was the rule but sometimes given the trouble we had getting there a little flexibility would have gone a long way."
