The light rail is the best mode of transportation in Chongqing, and this location is incredibly convenient. The rooms are clean, tidy, and well-organized. The public areas are so stylishly designed; the owners have great taste! There are books, coffee, cocktails, and even hand drums, guitars, and accordions – all very charming old instruments. Crucially, all the amenities are complete. I'm so impressed! The housekeeper told me it's only been open for a few days, but I already see many guests staying here. The service is excellent, truly fantastic!"

"This hotel was a pleasant surprise! I only found out it's part of the HUAZHU Hotels Group when I checked in. I extended my stay using their membership, and the price was similar to what I'd pay on Ctrip, but it included breakfast. Honestly, you don't really need to eat breakfast at the hotel in Chongqing; there are so many places to eat downstairs! There are local community shops behind the hotel, as well as trendy spots. Basically, you won't have to worry about finding good food here. The area is packed with attractions and restaurants. What really blew me away, though, was the view from the top floor – absolutely stunning! They even have an infinity pool. It wasn't quite warm enough during my stay, so my kids didn't get to swim, but if you come when it's hot, definitely bring your swimsuits and head up there. It opens after 5 PM, and there's a bar too, with amazing views. The hotel isn't expensive either; our family room was only 500 RMB."

"Good location. Central of Jiefangbei. Was offered a free room upgrade due to power interruption during the stay. The counter service is excellent. The buffet breakfast was a reasonable choice of food. The only complaint was during one morning, where there were many tables reserved for a big group of customers (some business function going on). Hotel guests had to queue for seats. Many reserved seats were empty. Staff said they were taken and the people are getting the food. This was not the case as I observed the tables were still not occupied after quite some time. This was poor planning. Otherwise everything else is good."

This was very unfortunate as it was one of the main reasons we booked this hotel."

"Futon hotel is such a great place to stay in Chongqing! The location is amazing, right next to the subway and in the cutest part of the city. It feels like exploring a big metropolitan city during the day and coming home to a small, old town during the evening. It’s full of small shops and tea/coffee places. The view from the room is beautiful and you can even hear the waterfall and the performances during the evening. The amenities are great and staff is amazing! They took care of us so well. They found it no problem to do out laundry and (because I got food poisoning a day before arriving) they even brought extra water and theyoffered to bring our breakfast to the hotel room! They are such nice people and we had a wonderful time in Chongqing because of this 🥰"
O’Ciel Skyrise Riverside Hotel at Raffles City Chongqing
"The place itself is pretty good, but the WeChat concierge was terrible. They kept hounding me for a good review, saying they had performance targets. I was exhausted from all the walking in Chongqing, literally walking until midnight every day, and then they'd bother me for a review. It was so annoying! So here's a big 'great review' for you. Plus, the WeChat concierge wasn't clear about how the laundry service worked. They told me to ask them again once I was back at the hotel. But when I did, they just told me my clothes couldn't be washed! I had to really push the front desk to get them to expedite the laundry for me. My schedule was super tight, and I was in a hurry to get back to Beijing, so I didn't have extra time to spend in Chongqing. Thanks to the front desk for understanding. As for people who can't communicate clearly, I strongly condemn them, alright? I strongly recommend NOT adding this WeChat concierge. The room view was great, and the location was good. DO NOT add this WeChat concierge! They're more trouble than they're worth."

"My stay at the Westin Chongqing's one-bedroom suite was excellent. The room was incredibly spacious with a well-designed separation between the living room and bedroom, offering great comfort and privacy. The overall decor felt luxurious and sophisticated, and the view from the window was fantastic. Watching Chongqing's night skyline from the room was particularly atmospheric. The bedding was soft and comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep, and the bathroom was also very roomy, making showering and bathing incredibly relaxing. The hotel staff were friendly and welcoming; check-in and check-out were smooth, and any requests were promptly addressed. Overall, I was very satisfied with the room quality, the views, and the service. I'll definitely consider staying here first on my next trip to Chongqing."

"Hotel location is excellent, close to all attractions. The reception is very responsive and helpful via WeChat. They do not speak English. Please note the breakfast is not a buffet type. It includes only noodles and dumplings. We went to a cafe called Bowltai nearby for a western type breakfast . The bed and pillows are very comfortable. Bed is firm and supportive for the spine. Take the right side elevator in the lobby to the 52 floor. The view is great."

The lobby is located on the 15th floor. Location provided amenities such as laundry, gym, and parking (self paid). It is located in the city and was walking distance from subways. Lots of food locations close by to explore and shopping. Room was cleaned daily and fresh towel provided daily. It was enjoyable stay."
