I was very excited about this room but actually I was disappointed once we arrived. The room looked bigger on the online images - it was glamorous on 2 levels with all mod cons but to be honest that was a bit of a pain - I was forever going up and down the spiral staircase for things and wished everything on one floor and I'd booked a more traditional space. There was only one bath mat provided so I had to carry the wet mat from the bath to the shower the following morning. Not something I'm used to in a hotel environment. I don't have a Chinese phone number so not easy to contact the guest reception and it was not convenient to get to. The coffee machine did not work properly and destroyed the first pod I put in. There was no stirrer for stirring the sugar and not easy to get more supplies. It took me a while to get the downstairs toilet to flush - it was very snazz but the automatic flush had been turned off and I had to work out in the dark how to get it to flush on the remote control. I was in the dark as the light control was outside on the wall by the front door not inside the toilet room. So small things like that were irritating.
The bed was very comfortable though and of course great views. But next time, I'll get a classic room in a classic hotel.
