AAnonymous UserTo start with, this hotel far exceeded our expectations and created truly wonderful memories for our anniversary. The staff were incredibly thoughtful; they decorated our room beautifully in advance and even gifted us fresh flowers 💐 – such touching attention to detail. Every day during our stay, we received a fresh and abundant fruit platter. On the first night, they thoughtfully delivered a white fungus soup, and on the second, a red date soup. Both were perfectly sweet, smooth, and absolutely delicious. Located within the Huaqing Palace scenic area, the hotel offers an elegant and tranquil environment that truly helps you relax and unwind. The breakfast selection 🍳 was rich and tasty, and dinner was equally excellent. The overall dining experience was a big plus. (There's a shuttle service from the lobby to the restaurant and attractions within the park, though it's also a very short walk.) The location is incredibly convenient. We could walk to see 'The Song of Everlasting Sorrow' in about 3 minutes, and Mount Li was also within walking distance. Our room booking included access to the Huaqing Hot Springs, and the hot spring experience was fantastic, making our entire trip even more relaxing and enjoyable. Overall, it's a high-quality hotel that excels in service, ambiance, and overall experience. Highly recommended, and I'll definitely be back! Once again, a big thank you to all the hotel staff involved 🌹

AAnonymous UserThe hotel's environment and hygiene were great, but I especially want to highlight how amazing the breakfast was! It was hands down the best we had in Xi'an! My child particularly loved the Roujiamo (Chinese hamburger) at breakfast, saying it was better than any other one they'd had outside. The only thing that could be improved is that during check-in, it would be helpful to mention the breakfast floor and opening hours. Also, if you're going to ask for a five-star review, perhaps offer a late check-out as an incentive, rather than just directly asking for it upfront.

GGuest UserI'm only getting around to writing this review now, after a trip before Chinese New Year, because the experience was truly memorable and worth savoring. The hotel's location is excellent; it's not far from attractions like the Bell Tower, Drum Tower, and Forest of Steles. On a good day, you can walk to them, or if you're feeling lazy, a taxi ride is quick. Getting to the Grand Tang Everbright City and Furong Garden is also smooth, whether by metro or taxi. The hotel's surroundings are very quiet, and once you enter the grounds, it feels like a private garden. Even in winter, you can see greenery all around, so I can only imagine how beautiful it must be during the other three seasons. What left the deepest impression was a young man from the hotel's concierge team. After my child and I finished our meal, we wanted to stroll around the courtyard. He proactively approached us, asking if we had eaten and where we planned to go. We told him we weren't going far, just exploring the courtyard. He enthusiastically informed us that there was an olive tree in the backyard personally planted by Premier Zhou, suggesting we look for it. We were pleasantly surprised and immediately decided to seek out this piece of history. Early on February 11th, we had booked a trip to the Terracotta Warriors. Since it was quite a distance, we rushed to the restaurant for breakfast right when it opened. As the elevator doors opened downstairs, it was the same familiar young man, greeting us with a cheerful 'Good morning!'... Throughout our stay, we encountered this diligent and hospitable staff member many times as we came and went. Even my child would proactively say hello to him, as if he were a familiar family member! The feeling of being welcomed like family truly slowly permeates and influences those around you. It's a shame he wasn't on duty the day we checked out, so we couldn't say goodbye in person. I have a small suggestion for the hotel's guest rooms: it would be best to provide plastic non-slip mats in the shower. The lack of non-slip slippers, with only cotton bathmats available, isn't enough to prevent slips in the shower. Moreover, showering barefoot isn't comfortable for most Chinese people, especially women and children. Sometimes, a non-slip item is much more practical than just a warning!

GGuest UserThe hotel's location is convenient, just a 10-minute walk from the subway station. The decor is very unique, blending with the ancient capital's style. What left the deepest impression was the hotel's daily breakfast, which features a collection of Xi'an specialty snacks like oily noodles (youpo mian), rice noodles (mipi), and 'water basin' beef (shuipen niurou). The hotel's specialty snacks are even better than those outside; every day I was in Xi'an, I felt the hotel's food was the best, surpassing even highly-rated restaurants on Dazhong Dianping. Furthermore, the breakfast service was excellent – warm, polite, and very efficient. It's one of the best and most memorable service experiences I've had at a five-star hotel.👍👍

AAnonymous UserHuge shoutout and a perfect score for the hotel's front desk staff! The service was incredibly warm and welcoming. They greeted me with a smile every time I walked in, and were so patient and enthusiastic in answering all my travel questions. They even thoughtfully provided details about the hotel facilities and local transportation tips. Their service was truly meticulous and attentive. The lobby environment is clean and elegant, making for an excellent overall experience. My stay was incredibly comfortable, and I highly recommend this hotel!

GGuest UserHere's a review of my recent stay: 1. **Pre-Arrival Contact:** No one contacted me before my arrival. 2. **Butler Service:** This hotel doesn't offer butler service. 3. **Kids' Breakfast:** When checking in, I asked the front desk if they could provide a complimentary children's breakfast, but they couldn't. 4. **Hotel WeChat:** I asked the front desk if the hotel had a WeChat account. They informed me that they don't use WeChat for communication and that guests should call the front desk for any inquiries. 5. **New Year's Eve Dinner:** We booked the New Year's Eve dinner for 2888 RMB. The value for money was just so-so, but I guess that's expected for a holiday. They did have a raffle, and it seemed like everyone won a prize, which made up for the value issue a bit. 6. **Post-Departure Contact:** Someone finally sent a message to check in after I had already left. 7. **Executive Lounge:** The executive lounge was quite good, but everything else was just average. 8. **Management Presence:** While having dinner, I saw the restaurant manager. During the day, I also saw the Director of Rooms on the first floor. It seemed like all the other senior executives might have been on holiday! 9. **Stay Duration:** We spent four days and three nights in Xi'an for New Year's and stayed at this hotel for three nights. 10. **Breakfast:** I didn't eat breakfast, so I can't comment on it. My child ate my portion. I don't usually eat breakfast anyway, so whether or not a complimentary children's breakfast was offered wasn't a big deal for me. 11. **Comparison with Other Hotels:** My next destination is Kunming, and I'm staying at a Four Points by Sheraton. Even before arriving, the reservations staff actively contacted me, which is a stark contrast to the Ritz-Carlton Xi'an, where no one bothered to reach out. 12. **Location:** The hotel is located in the high-tech zone. Although there's a subway station right outside, it's quite a distance from the city center, so we had to take taxis everywhere. 13. **Nearby Amenities:** There's a shopping mall next to the hotel, and a Starbucks can be found by exiting through the back door on the first floor. 14. **Future Stays:** For someone who only stays at the Ritz, I'd probably stay here again next time. Otherwise, I might consider newer hotels like newly opened Courtyards, Element Hotels, or Marriotts. Newly opened Courtyards are usually quite good!

XXingfudetudoushalaThis was my second stay, and the hotel's location is truly unbeatable. It's directly across the street from the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and right at the northern entrance of the Grand Tang Everbright City. You can easily walk to key attractions like the South Square of the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, Grand Tang Everbright City, and Qin Han Tang Square, making sightseeing incredibly convenient. Plus, there's Joy City just across the road for all your shopping and dining needs – so handy! The hotel's exterior design is simple yet grand, giving off a very upscale vibe. The hotel is clean and tidy, and I have to praise the bedding in the rooms; it's incredibly comfortable! Make sure to visit the Qujiang Art Museum downstairs; the jade carvings are exquisite masterpieces, and the ceramics exhibition near the exit is also stunning. There's even a Picasso exhibition happening now, and it's free for hotel guests to visit. I especially want to mention how warm and welcoming all the staff are. Upon check-in, I was upgraded to an executive room for free, and on the morning of my departure, they proactively arranged a late check-out and gave me a lovely gift. Their thoughtfulness was truly exceptional, and a special thank you to Candy Jonay and the front desk staff for making me feel so at home. In short, if you want to fully experience the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and Grand Tang Everbright City area, I highly recommend the Westin Hotel. Five stars all the way!

SSwee Ying DaOverall, my stay at Courtyard by Marriott Xi’an North was pleasant — the facilities, cleanliness, and room quality were excellent, and the staff were polite and professional. Everything in the hotel is well maintained, and the environment feels comfortable and modern. However, the check-in process took quite a long time. I understand that guests in the executive suite are allowed a late check-out until 2 PM, but the cleaning of those rooms takes about an hour or more. This means that if the previous guests delay their departure, the next guests (like me) may not be able to check in until well after 3 PM. Because of this delay, my schedule for the whole afternoon was affected as I had to wait in the lobby. I hope the management can consider stricter control on late check-outs or faster room-turnover coordination, so that incoming guests don’t have to wait beyond the normal check-in time. Otherwise, it’s a very nice hotel and I would love to come back again if the check-in process becomes smoother.

GGuest UserAlthough the hotel is a bit old, it's very well-maintained. The rooms are spotless, and they have a pool and everything, which kept the kids thoroughly entertained. They even had free children's activities in the lobby during the Chinese New Year. My only minor gripe is that it's a bit of a walk from the subway station, as well as the Bell and Drum Tower, and Yonglefang. You really need to be prepared for a bit of walking, especially since taxis tend to get stuck in traffic during Chinese New Year. However, this is definitely a hidden gem. It's close to government offices, making for a very quiet stay.
