GGuest UserThis hotel is said to be the only one of its kind in Xi'an, and one of only two in Asia. I decided to give it a try for one night, and overall, I had a good experience. First, the environment: it's located in the former People's Mansion, within its own large courtyard, providing a quiet retreat from the bustling city. There's even a fountain downstairs. The hotel's designer is Chinese, but it boasts a French style. It was originally built during the Soviet aid era to host Soviet experts, so it likely incorporates elements from Chinese, French, and Russian cultures. About 90% of the guests are foreigners, possibly French, though I couldn't really tell. The room decor is quite elegant, not modern. The facilities and amenities are good, but some furniture and the floor show obvious signs of wear. The staff are all young and provide excellent, smiling service. Breakfast was just so-so; it seems more geared towards foreigners. For Chinese guests, the variety is quite limited, and it pales in comparison to the breakfasts at InterContinental, Four Seasons, and especially the Ritz-Carlton. But then again, each hotel has its own unique characteristics. All in all, it's a hotel worth staying at!

GGuest UserOur stay was very comfortable and relaxing overall. The hotel's environment is elegant, with a spacious courtyard perfect for leisurely strolls with the kids. We had a dedicated butler service, which was a nice, warm touch. They checked in with us from arrival to departure, anticipating our needs and meticulously arranging all the details. The hotel boasts excellent amenities like a hot spring and restaurants, making it very convenient for travel and recreation. Our room was well-designed with a good layout, including a separate wet and dry area, and even special toiletries for children. There are also partnered children's play areas nearby, making it a great choice for families. The whole atmosphere was peaceful and relaxed, perfect for both staying in and going out to explore. It's an excellent option for families traveling with children, and we were very satisfied with our stay.

YYvovonneThis hotel really captures the essence of Xi'an. The rooms are spacious and have a cool, post-modern punk vibe, though the bathroom facilities could use an update.
The hotel breakfast restaurant is huge, with a fantastic selection of made-to-order dishes, including many Xi'an specialties like Biang Biang noodles, Qishan臊子面 (Qishan saozi noodles), and Roujiamo (Chinese hamburger). However, I do wish the staff would help maintain some order, especially with so many children around.
Definitely worth mentioning is their 'Jinghong Travel Photography' service – the photos turn out amazing and it's absolutely worth trying!

GGuest UserI have to give this hotel a perfect score! The location is incredibly convenient for getting around and shopping. The front desk staff were warm and attentive, and check-in and check-out were very efficient. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and the soundproofing was excellent, ensuring a very peaceful sleep. The breakfast had a wide variety of fresh options. Overall, the experience was fantastic, and I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time I'm in the area. Highly recommend!

GGuest UserThe hotel's location is excellent, making travel very convenient. There's a direct subway line to the Grand Tang Everbright City and Big Wild Goose Pagoda. The Hanshen Shopping Center next to the hotel offers a fantastic variety of food options, so dining is a breeze. Monica from guest relations reached out beforehand and provided warm and thoughtful service. The surrounding area is also very quiet, ensuring a great night's sleep. My child absolutely loved the heated swimming pool on the 24th floor. We'll definitely be bringing the family back for the National Day holiday.

ZZouzoutingtingFor the May Day holiday, I wanted to avoid long travel since it would be crowded, so I decided to stay in Xi'an and explore the city's food scene. We chose the Grand Hyatt, and it was a fantastic experience; the hotel's design is incredibly tasteful. It's also conveniently located directly across from MixC World, making dining and transportation a breeze.
However, what truly touched me was the service here. I especially want to commend Judy at the front desk! From the moment we checked in, she was patient and thorough. I mentioned that my child is a bit older and I was concerned about space, and Judy not only thoughtfully noted our request, but when we got to the room, the sofa bed was already neatly made up, and extra blankets and pillows were provided. She even specially arranged a complimentary breakfast for my child. She also thoughtfully registered our car plate for extended use, so we don't have to inform the concierge every time we leave – truly considerate.
This kind of attentive, 'can-do' service really makes parents traveling with children feel incredibly welcome and at ease. All in all, the Grand Hyatt Xi'an not only boasts impressive aesthetics, but more importantly, it has staff like Judy who genuinely prioritize guests' needs. This will definitely be our first choice next time we visit Xi'an.

AAnonymous UserThis was my first time visiting Xi'an, and I chose to stay at The Ritz-Carlton, Xi'an. My experience was absolutely fantastic, truly living up to its reputation as Xi'an's top luxury hotel!
The Tang Dynasty-inspired New Chinese decor creates a wonderful atmosphere. The lobby is elegantly classic, with a distinct Chang'an character. The guest rooms are spacious and spotless, the bedding is incredibly comfortable, and the service is warm and attentive. The staff are all considerate and polite; every time I encountered an employee, they greeted me with a radiant smile, which really brightened my day!
For breakfast, you can enjoy local Shaanxi specialties like 'You Po Mian' (oil-splashed noodles) and 'Rou Jia Mo' (Chinese hamburger), all authentically delicious. The Cantonese restaurant serves very authentic dishes, and the roasted pigeon, in particular, had a truly crispy skin. The bar on the 27th floor has a great ambiance, and even kids are welcome to dine there and enjoy a non-alcoholic drink. I must give a special shout-out to William from the bar and Bruce from the Chinese restaurant – their service was exceptional!

She also arranged for a room with an excellent view and even provided an air purifier because our child has rhinitis – truly thoughtful! On the day of check-in, we felt right at home. The hotel is grand yet quiet, and the room was comfortable and cozy. Overall, we were very satisfied with the service and the environment was fantastic.

Since it was my first time visiting Xi'an, I really wanted a top-notch experience, so I paid extra attention to choosing the perfect accommodation. And the results were surprisingly good! I have to give a special shout-out to the two front desk staff members who checked me in around 1:30 PM on April 24th. One was named Roy Luo, and I can't remember the other tall gentleman's name, but he deserves a special mention too! 😊 They provided patient service with a constant smile and even proactively upgraded me to an executive room. The overall experience was excellent. The breakfast spread was comprehensive, featuring both local specialty noodles and Western pastries, and the taste was great. As expected from an InterContinental property, it's reliable and definitely worth it. I'll choose this place again on my next visit!

XXiaoshouziaThe guy who checked me in was really enthusiastic. I arrived just as a tour group was checking in, but the front desk staff member proactively helped me first. He also gave me two coffee vouchers. The room was quite spacious and very quiet. I had a great stay. The only downside was that breakfast was too crowded, and I couldn't get a seat.
