GGuest UserI stayed for two days, and here are my thoughts: Pros: The hotel's location is excellent, right next to Huaqing Palace. During my stay, I could access the scenic area directly from an inner door, which was very convenient. The hotel provides electric shuttle buggies, and the staff were responsive and readily transported us between the lobby, restaurant, and our room. The fruit and beverages provided in the room were plentiful, as was the drinking water. We could enjoy a private hot spring bath without leaving the room, and the water temperature was perfect. Suggestions: The butler service was virtually nonexistent. I asked them to help cancel a photography session, but there has been no reply or response in the group chat. When dining at the restaurant during heavy rain, I asked for an umbrella, but was told to get a raincoat from inside the restaurant, which resulted in my shoes getting soaked. There was a leak in the bathroom and shower room. The butler said they would block it with a cloth the next day, but when we returned to the room the next day, we found they had applied a ring of sealant to the glass, which had a very strong and unpleasant odor. Housekeeping needs improvement: On the first night, when we filled the hot spring, the windows by the bar and the hot spring bath were left open. Because of the curtains, we didn't notice, and the loud sounds from the 'Song of Everlasting Sorrow' performance seriously disturbed our sleep. On the second day, after room cleaning, no new small towels were placed by the sink. I suggest improving service procedures and standards.

GGuest UserOur stay at the W Hotel was absolutely incredible. I was completely blown away by the sheer scale and beauty of the building — everything felt luxurious, modern, and thoughtfully designed from the moment we arrived. The lighting, flooring, and stunning views over the lake created such an impressive atmosphere throughout the hotel. I had asked if it would be possible to upgrade to a lake view room, and the staff kindly arranged it for us the following day, which we really appreciated. It was also our anniversary, so the hotel surprised us with balloons and a cake in the room, which was such a thoughtful touch. My partner especially loved the cake — she probably ate 90% of it herself! The food throughout our stay was amazing, and the breakfast spread was one of the best I’ve experienced anywhere. There was such a huge variety of options, all beautifully presented. The cocktail bar / Betty Boop bar was also fantastic, with a really stylish atmosphere, and the complimentary cocktail each day was a great bonus. The facilities were equally impressive. The swimming pool was massive, the hot tub was excellent, and the gym was honestly incredible — modern, spacious, and very well equipped. What stood out most was how unique the hotel felt. The Art Deco influences mixed with the modern design made it unlike anywhere I’ve stayed before. Every detail felt polished and high-end while still feeling welcoming and enjoyable. Overall, one of the most beautiful, stylish, and memorable hotels I’ve ever stayed in, and I would happily return again.

GGuest UserI'm only getting around to writing this review now, after a trip before Chinese New Year, because the experience was truly memorable and worth savoring. The hotel's location is excellent; it's not far from attractions like the Bell Tower, Drum Tower, and Forest of Steles. On a good day, you can walk to them, or if you're feeling lazy, a taxi ride is quick. Getting to the Grand Tang Everbright City and Furong Garden is also smooth, whether by metro or taxi. The hotel's surroundings are very quiet, and once you enter the grounds, it feels like a private garden. Even in winter, you can see greenery all around, so I can only imagine how beautiful it must be during the other three seasons. What left the deepest impression was a young man from the hotel's concierge team. After my child and I finished our meal, we wanted to stroll around the courtyard. He proactively approached us, asking if we had eaten and where we planned to go. We told him we weren't going far, just exploring the courtyard. He enthusiastically informed us that there was an olive tree in the backyard personally planted by Premier Zhou, suggesting we look for it. We were pleasantly surprised and immediately decided to seek out this piece of history. Early on February 11th, we had booked a trip to the Terracotta Warriors. Since it was quite a distance, we rushed to the restaurant for breakfast right when it opened. As the elevator doors opened downstairs, it was the same familiar young man, greeting us with a cheerful 'Good morning!'... Throughout our stay, we encountered this diligent and hospitable staff member many times as we came and went. Even my child would proactively say hello to him, as if he were a familiar family member! The feeling of being welcomed like family truly slowly permeates and influences those around you. It's a shame he wasn't on duty the day we checked out, so we couldn't say goodbye in person. I have a small suggestion for the hotel's guest rooms: it would be best to provide plastic non-slip mats in the shower. The lack of non-slip slippers, with only cotton bathmats available, isn't enough to prevent slips in the shower. Moreover, showering barefoot isn't comfortable for most Chinese people, especially women and children. Sometimes, a non-slip item is much more practical than just a warning!

FFanlaifanquhaishiwoThis hotel is perfect for a family trip. My family and I had a very comfortable stay. It's a quiet, older hotel, so some of the facilities are a bit dated, like the TV and toilet, and there isn't a central control switch for the whole room. The wardrobe also looks a bit old. However, the front desk service was excellent; they genuinely tried to solve problems for guests and were very friendly to children. The complimentary fruit and Terracotta Warrior chocolates were delicious – they weren't just going through the motions, unlike the poor attitude I experienced at a certain Hilton next door. The bedding was also very comfortable, and you could even choose your preferred pillow. We even received a small gift when we checked out. The downtown location is fantastic, with all sorts of dining options nearby. The only minor issue was that the housekeeping auntie wasn't quite on top of refilling the tissues, and we ran out a bit. But when we called the front desk, they responded very quickly.

AAnonymous UserHuge shoutout and a perfect score for the hotel's front desk staff! The service was incredibly warm and welcoming. They greeted me with a smile every time I walked in, and were so patient and enthusiastic in answering all my travel questions. They even thoughtfully provided details about the hotel facilities and local transportation tips. Their service was truly meticulous and attentive. The lobby environment is clean and elegant, making for an excellent overall experience. My stay was incredibly comfortable, and I highly recommend this hotel!

GGuest UserThe Ritz-Carlton has long been a luxury hotel I've wanted to experience, and since I was traveling to Xi'an, I immediately booked a stay. Upon arrival, the front desk staff, as per my request, upgraded my room to a high-floor executive king. Because room cleaning took longer than expected, they further upgraded me to the highest floor in the executive wing, which I was extremely happy with. Personally, I think the Ritz's breakfast is unbeatable among hotels of its caliber – the variety is extensive, and the quality is superb. The Xi'an specialties like You Po La Zi Mian (oil-splashed chili noodles), Yang Za Tang (lamb offal soup), and beef roujiamo were all delicious, easily comparable to local restaurants outside. The attention to detail was also excellent: since my backpack had been on the high-speed train and I felt it wasn't very clean, I placed it on the floor rather than on the sofa or chair. Chen Liang, the cleaning staff, noticed this and brought me a luggage rack to put my backpack on, leaving a card afterwards. Also, observing my habit of drinking water in bed, they thoughtfully placed a glass on my nightstand. These are all results of the staff's keen observation and are a testament to the hotel's management and training. Details truly make all the difference. I hope you continue to excel and get even better. The Ritz will remain my top choice for future travels!

PP2BabyThe location of The Westin Xi'an is absolutely unbeatable! It's directly across from the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, just a 2-minute walk away, and you can reach Datang Everbright City in 5 minutes to catch the light show and performances. At night, you can enjoy panoramic views of the illuminated pagoda right from your room. It's also conveniently located near a Line 4 subway station, making it super easy to get to all the attractions – truly hassle-free travel. For shopping and dining, Xi'an Joy City is right outside the hotel, offering everything you could possibly need. And the hotel service? Absolutely impeccable. From the moment I booked, through check-in, and finally at check-out, the guest services team, especially Nico and Candy, provided thoughtful and proactive assistance. This included pre-arrival check-in guidance, license plate registration, a local sightseeing map, performance schedules, and even information on traffic restrictions during the May Day holiday. The front desk staff were professional, efficient, and highly skilled, able to answer all our questions and accommodate our specific requests with ease. This really speaks to the hotel's mature and comprehensive management system, where management empowers their staff, significantly boosting service efficiency and quality, and actively enhancing the hotel's and brand's image. Even the housekeeping staff were incredibly meticulous and diligent, ensuring our room was cleaned and amenities replenished promptly and thoroughly. It's no wonder The Westin Xi'an (Datang Everbright City store) is ranked number one for hotels in Xi'an on Ctrip – it truly deserves it.

SSwee Ying DaOverall, my stay at Courtyard by Marriott Xi’an North was pleasant — the facilities, cleanliness, and room quality were excellent, and the staff were polite and professional. Everything in the hotel is well maintained, and the environment feels comfortable and modern. However, the check-in process took quite a long time. I understand that guests in the executive suite are allowed a late check-out until 2 PM, but the cleaning of those rooms takes about an hour or more. This means that if the previous guests delay their departure, the next guests (like me) may not be able to check in until well after 3 PM. Because of this delay, my schedule for the whole afternoon was affected as I had to wait in the lobby. I hope the management can consider stricter control on late check-outs or faster room-turnover coordination, so that incoming guests don’t have to wait beyond the normal check-in time. Otherwise, it’s a very nice hotel and I would love to come back again if the check-in process becomes smoother.

GGuest UserThis is a well-established five-star hotel in Xi'an, boasting an excellent location right next to Xincheng Plaza, within the ancient city walls. You can quickly cycle to the Bell and Drum Towers from here. Despite its central location, it's nestled in a very quiet, private courtyard, giving you a sense of peaceful retreat amidst the hustle and bustle. Strolling through the courtyard, you can feel the profound historical changes Xi'an has undergone since the founding of the PRC. While some of the facilities inevitably show their age, you can tell they're diligently maintained. Upon arrival, an attendant will help carry your luggage to your room. The front desk staff are incredibly professional and courteous, resolving issues very quickly. Communication with Sofitel Legend Peoples Grand Hotel Xian was also seamless, and they facilitated the transfer of our luggage. I accidentally left a few items behind during check-in, but they handled the communication within minutes and had my belongings delivered to my new room at Sofitel Legend. Knowing our new room wasn't ready yet, they proactively helped with communication and offered a late check-out, making guests feel a profound sense of warmth, like coming home, especially during the New Year period. This level of service efficiency and attitude truly deserves praise. The breakfast spread is extensive, and the freshly made waffles are absolutely delicious – soft, sweet, and chewy. The only minor drawback was the crowd at breakfast during the New Year, but the tables were cleared quite promptly, and the cleaning staff worked incredibly hard.

GGuest UserThis stay was truly exceptional, and I have to give a special shout-out to Cindy at the front desk. From the moment we checked in, she was incredibly kind, patient, and attentive. She proactively asked about our needs, thoroughly explained the hotel's facilities and important information, and handled everything efficiently without a hint of impatience. We had a few small, last-minute issues, and she promptly and professionally helped us resolve them, making us feel completely at ease and valued. Cindy’s service was warm yet perfectly professional, and her friendly smile and every action made us feel very comfortable, truly reflecting the hotel's professionalism and welcoming atmosphere. Having such a dedicated and responsible employee genuinely elevated our entire stay. The overall experience was excellent, I highly recommend this place, and I will definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit. A sincere thumbs-up to Cindy for her outstanding service!
