There's also a projector in the lobby on the first floor, so we could all watch movies together at 8 PM, no need to go to a cinema."

GGuest UserThe quality of Ascott hotels is consistently reliable, as always. All facilities are very complete, including a refrigerator, microwave, and a washer-dryer combo, so you can pack fewer clothes for your trip. The hotel has a gym and a swimming pool, and the breakfast selection is quite rich. The staff and front desk personnel are warm, attentive, and responsive to every request. The surrounding area offers convenient transportation and dining options, making it easy to get to attractions like Xiaozhai, the Bell Tower, and the Shaanxi History Museum. There are also plenty of restaurants downstairs, and from the floor-to-ceiling windows, you can gaze at the Small Wild Goose Pagoda in the distance. Although it's close to the main South Second Ring Road, it's very quiet.

AAnonymous UserMy only requirement for a hotel is peace and quiet. That's why, even though I was visiting Xi'an, I specifically booked this place. Plus, as an IHG Platinum member, I try to stick with the brand. The reason for choosing this hotel was simple: it looked relatively quiet, and they had suites available. Logically, for just my wife and me, such a large room wasn't necessary, but I thought fewer neighbors might mean more quiet.
The first night, however, had a bit of a hitch. I'm not sure if it was the air conditioning unit upstairs or some other machinery, but every twenty minutes or so, there would be a very loud bang, which meant I barely slept all night. Honestly, for such a nice room, this issue was quite unexpected. At 5 AM, I couldn't take it anymore and had to call the front desk. They handled it promptly, quickly moving me to the seventh floor; my original room was on the eighteenth floor.
The seventh-floor suite was also much quieter. Although the curtains were a bit old, with several small holes, making them less effective at blocking out light than those on the eighteenth floor, and the partition between the living room and bedroom was transparent (which compromises sound insulation and light blocking), the overall living experience was actually more comfortable. The rooms downstairs have gaming consoles and kitchens, while the rooms upstairs feel more like private meeting spaces – each with its own distinct features. At least after moving to the seventh floor, I didn't hear that inexplicable loud noise anymore. Of course, being closer to the gym, I occasionally heard some equipment training sounds, but it was a vast improvement compared to the first night, and my sleep quality significantly improved on the second day.
Just a small suggestion for the hotel: the coffee machine in the room and the provided capsules didn't seem to be compatible, so I didn't end up using it. But this is a minor issue and didn't affect the overall experience.
This stay also made me ponder whether I should continue to spend more on suites just for the sake of quiet in the future. Theoretically, suites should have fewer neighbors, but in reality, suite floors might also attract more families traveling together, so it's not necessarily quieter. Overall, however, I was quite satisfied with this stay. Especially the hotel staff's service attitude was excellent, and their response time when issues arose was very quick.
If I visit Xi'an again, I'd very likely choose to stay here. For friends traveling, this hotel is indeed a bit further from the main attractions, but for me, getting a good rest is more important than saving an extra ten or twenty minutes of travel time.

GGuest UserMy stay at the W Hotel Xi'an was absolutely perfect, exceeding all expectations. The breakfast selection was incredibly diverse, featuring a wide array of Western pastries and fresh juices, alongside local specialties like Roujiamo (meat burger), Youpo Mian (oil-splashed noodles), and Zenggao (steamed glutinous rice cake). The live cooking stations offered authentic flavors and fresh, delicious ingredients. The Xianyuan Chinese Restaurant on the second floor served exquisite dishes, a delightful fusion of Shaanxi and Huaiyang cuisines, all perfectly seasoned in an elegant setting.
The entire staff was incredibly enthusiastic. The front desk, restaurant, and housekeeping teams were proactive and attentive, responding quickly to any requests. Their attention to detail was truly impressive. The room's view was absolutely stunning, with floor-to-ceiling windows and a scenic balcony. During the day, I overlooked the lush greenery of Qujiang, and at night, I enjoyed the vibrant city lights—the ambiance was simply magical. The room's design was modern and comfortable, with excellent amenities. The dining, service, and views were all top-notch. This is definitely my first choice for a stay in Xi'an, and I'll be back again!

Our butler was proactive and thoughtful, reaching out three days in advance and responding quickly to all our needs. The turndown service was exquisite, showcasing French elegance and historical charm in every detail. Upon arrival, we were welcomed with a mousse cake and fresh fruit. The staff were all polite and considerate, and I particularly want to commend butler Jack, Themis, and concierge Morty Eva for their outstanding service! This hotel truly sets the standard for high-end accommodation in Xi'an and comes highly recommended.

The room itself is comfortable and clean, and it's super close to the Muslim Quarter and Bell Tower. They also offer afternoon tea and even a photography service. The hotel staff were incredibly friendly, especially the ones at the entrance. When a car arrived, they'd help guests load large luggage into the trunk and even open the car door. Everything was handled with such thoughtful detail.
As for the hotel's environment, it's simply beyond words. The serene garden right before your eyes offers a peaceful retreat amidst the bustling city. Its central location makes getting anywhere a breeze... And after a soak in the tub with those wonderfully fragrant toiletries, you're sure to drift off into a peaceful sleep.

**Check-in:** First of all, even before I arrived, I received a call from the hotel staff asking what time we expected to arrive. Upon learning that we would be arriving early, they said they would try their best to arrange an early check-in for us. And indeed, when we got to the hotel, the check-in process was smooth and we were able to get into our room early. I'm very grateful for the thoughtful service from the hotel staff and the quick processing by the front desk.
**Room:** It was the height of summer and extremely hot, so we needed a lot of ice daily. We requested buckets of ice every day. The room service staff always responded promptly, provided patient service, and were consistently thorough and meticulous without any slack.
**Environment:** The hotel's facilities are excellent, clean, and elegant. Every location is clearly marked, and the elevators are quiet and fast. The concierge staff were also particularly helpful when we called for taxis, opening car doors to make getting in and out convenient. The meticulous and personalized service made us feel very at ease.
**Dining:** Breakfast was very rich. Since we booked an executive suite, we also experienced the Grand Club. The overall service and light meals were all very good, and the staff were enthusiastic. Although there were some minor issues in between, which might have been due to miscommunication, after clarifying, everything was fine. The overall service was quite good.

Even the corners were meticulously cleaned, making everything feel fresh and comfortable. YOYO, one of the staff members, explained the packages in detail (no hard selling at all) and had a gentle, patient attitude.
