Hotels in Dayan Pagoda/The Grand Tang Mall, Xi'an

This family trip was fantastic, and the family room was really great. The room was spacious and well-laid-out, perfect for families with children. The view from the window was a lovely garden landscape, with lush greenery and a quiet atmosphere. We could enjoy the courtyard scenery right from our room, and the night view was beautiful. The room was clean and tidy, and the bedding was comfortable. What was most thoughtful was that, due to unforeseen circumstances, we couldn't make it back in time, and the front desk kindly arranged a late check-out for us. This saved us from rushing and made our trip much more relaxed. The service was warm and attentive, and we were very satisfied with everything. We'll definitely consider staying here again on our next visit.

I personally feel this hotel offers great value for money: First, the location is excellent. Second, it's convenient for shopping. Third, the subway station is easily accessible. Fourth, everything was clean, except for a few minor chips on some bathroom tiles. Fifth, downstairs is the Grand Tang Everbright City, which gets incredibly crowded at night. While there might be some noise issues due to this, I found it acceptable. After all, when you're tired from walking, you just fall asleep the moment you get back, so it's not a big deal. Sixth, the restaurant on the sixth floor offers fair prices and generous portions. The 118-yuan set meal was too much for two people to finish. I'd suggest reducing portion sizes and lowering the price to attract more customers. Also, more promotion would be beneficial. Seventh, although the room wasn't large, it was very clean, and the service was excellent. Both the front desk staff and the cleaning ladies upstairs were wonderful. Eighth, considering the room rate and its prime location, I think it's a very fair deal.

After much deliberation for this trip, I chose The Westin Hotel. It's conveniently located next to the Giant Wild Goose Pagoda, and the Grand Tang Dynasty Everbright City is within walking distance. The overall design features Tang Dynasty-style courtyards, with a grand lobby exuding ancient charm. The guest rooms are spacious and comfortable, and some even offer views of the pagoda's night scenery. The hotel boasts a full range of facilities, including a swimming pool and a gym. Breakfast offers a wide variety of choices, with many local Xi'an flavors to sample. During the summer, it was noticeable that the hotel was quite busy, with the restaurant usually full between 8:00 AM and 9:30 AM. Since the hotel opened quite a while ago, some facilities show their age slightly, but overall, it's clean and well-maintained. Upon check-in, the hotel provided complimentary tickets to the Qujiang Art Museum, which is directly accessible via an elevator from the hotel lobby. The main exhibition hall showcases exquisite gold and jade artifacts, with dazzling Ming and Qing dynasty gold jewelry and jade pieces. There are also ceramic exhibition halls and a Picasso exhibition. You can scan QR codes to listen to audio guides, and a thorough visit takes about an hour and a half. Staying here allows you to leisurely visit the Giant Wild Goose Pagoda in the evening and explore the Everbright City at night, saving you the hassle of commuting. The nearby Joy City offers convenient shopping and dining options. During my stay, coffee and milk tea ordered were promptly delivered to my room by robots.

I booked this hotel for my friend's birthday and it turned out to be an amazing surprise! The stay was fantastic and filled with warmth. A special thank you to the front desk staff, especially the gentleman who even gave us a small gift when we checked out. He was incredibly friendly, polite, and attentive, and all the other front desk staff were just as wonderful and made us feel so well-cared for. The hotel was very clean, and the room was quiet and comfortable. We had a direct view of the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, and the room was much larger than I expected. The overall ambiance was cozy and elegant, making for a perfect experience. My only regret is not taking more photos of the room. I genuinely highly recommend this place!

The interior design of the W Xi'an perfectly blends the W brand's vibe with Xi'an's unique charm. The room view is absolutely stunning, beautiful both day and night. The bathing experience was also great. Vera kept in touch with me throughout my stay, responding promptly and providing excellent service. ❤️ To my surprise, the second-floor restaurant was collaborating with Yuxingji, so I got to enjoy crab roe noodles there – a taste from my memories! Though the crab vinegar seemed a little different from what I remember in Shanghai. The Xi'an specialties at breakfast were delicious. I tried the Orange Blossom and Tequila Sunrise at the bar; both were unexpectedly good and well-made. Highly recommend! For dessert, I had the Kumquat Pistachio, Orange Mousse, and a sparkling wine flavored one. They were all great value and very tasty. Overall, it was an excellent experience. I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next trip to Xi'an.

We went to Xi'an with the kids, and they wanted a bathtub and a pool. I, on the other hand, wanted a great location, close to the Grand Tang Mall, and a room over 50 square meters... We ended up choosing this hotel and were absolutely delighted! Upon check-in, they gave our two kids adorable raccoon plushies and a generous supply of fruits, snacks, and drinks. The hotel might be a bit older, but it feels luxurious and grand, not old at all. The bed was huge, and there were plenty of mirrors, which was great for getting ready. They said it was a kilometer from the Grand Tang Mall, but actually, you just step out and you're right at the tail end of it! That was a fantastic surprise! It was so convenient for dining and shopping!

Facilities: The facilities are very complete. They even provide eye masks and earplugs, and the lighting can be adjusted from 100% down to 10%, which is very user-friendly. Cleanliness: It's also spotless, with disposable toilet seat covers. Environment: The location is excellent, making it very convenient to get to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, Datang Everbright City, and Xi'an Film Studio. Service: The staff are very enthusiastic and proactive. They offer freshly ground coffee, a car to take us to the subway, and even a souvenir. It was a great experience, and I'll definitely stay here again next time. I just wonder if this brand has branches in other cities across the country.

I had a really satisfying stay this time. The hotel was clean and tidy overall, and the room facilities were complete. The bedding was soft and I slept very comfortably. The front desk staff were warm and polite, checked me in very efficiently, and provided attentive and thoughtful service. The location is also very convenient, and the overall value for money is good. I will choose this hotel again for my next trip, highly recommended!

This was the first hotel where I stayed for five consecutive nights. I'd go to Mount Hua and Xianyang during the day and return here in the evenings. Even though the hotel has been open for over ten years, the black mahogany decor in the rooms is still very well maintained. The huge lobby is incredibly grand; the only other hotel I've stayed in that can compare is the Zhongwu Hotel. The hotel's breakfast truly deserves a mention – it's incredibly varied, and the quality is excellent. They offer local specialties like 'Youpo Mian' (oil-splashed noodles) and 'Roujiamo' (Chinese hamburger), which taste just as good as what you'd find in a specialized restaurant. The attached Spanish restaurant is also authentically styled. The hotel service was great too; a minor issue upon check-in was resolved quickly, and they even gave me an extra breakfast. The hotel environment is also fantastic, with a resort-style garden. The back exit leads directly to the Furong Xintiandi commercial complex, and the front exit opens to Qujiang Relic Park, which is lovely for an morning stroll. It's also not far from the Tang Paradise and the Grand Tang Everbright City. For other destinations, there are subway and bus stations near the hotel. The only downside was that the TV signal wasn't great, with only a few channels working properly. However, since I was out late and back late every day, I didn't have much time to watch TV anyway, but I still hope they can improve it.

Behind Joy City, there's the Grand Tang Dynasty Everbright City and the Giant Wild Goose Pagoda, all connected and just a 5-minute walk from the hotel, making it super convenient for a stroll. The front desk staff, Sakura 🌸 and Bai Su, provided exceptional service, ensuring we had a very satisfying stay. The breakfast was delicious, and overall, our stay was fantastic!
