"Absolutely thrilled with my stay! The hotel facilities are excellent, and it's spotlessly clean. What truly stood out is its incredible location – so close to many attractions. West Lake, Hefang Street, Southern Song Imperial Street, Drum Tower, De Shou Palace, and Hu Xueyan's Former Residence are all right nearby. Plus, there are so many photo-worthy spots for those perfect Instagram shots! Dining and getting around couldn't be easier. The hotel staff are also wonderful and very welcoming."

GGuest UserI rarely go out of my way to write reviews, but this B&B truly deserves a good one. When the car first drove down the narrow alley, I was skeptical, wondering if there could really be a good B&B here, or if it was just a case of misleading photos. But when I pushed open the room door and saw the stunning blue-toned garden view in the first picture, I couldn't help but gasp. The lighting was incredibly tasteful, and the bedding was exceptionally comfortable; I never imagined linen could feel so good. The absolute highlight, though, was the service – it surpassed many big-name hotels. After being disappointed by so many B&Bs before, I honestly didn't expect to find such a fantastic one at this price point in Hangzhou.

LLajieshaxiximengThe hotel is beautiful and spacious. I especially love the grand and opulent lobbies in each building, with their stunning bonsai arrangements – I absolutely adore them! This was my second stay, and the experience was just as great.
This time I traveled with my mom. Visiting the May Fourth Constitution Memorial Hall was a moving experience, especially for people from that era. My dad was born in that year and was even named after it, so it holds great commemorative significance for us! An unexpected bonus of staying at this hotel was discovering the famous Xinxin Hotel right outside the southeast gate, which has a wonderful historical ambiance! This hotel is definitely worth staying at!
However, it's worth noting that the room details weren't up to par. The screen window was broken, with noticeable tears both at the top and bottom, and nobody seemed to have addressed it.

GGuest UserPros: Jojo, our butler, provided excellent service, and the travel photography was great – the photographer was very dedicated.
Cons:
1. Breakfast options were limited, and items were frequently missing. The coffee machine was terrible, producing a watery, tasteless drink.
2. The paid activities, especially the boat tour and farm visit, were very poor quality. An older staff member had a bad attitude and kept rushing us, saying other guests were waiting. Including the walk to the vegetable garden, we only spent about 15 minutes picking. For the boat tour, we had to insist just to get a short drift on the lake; initially, they claimed it was too windy to paddle. It was a really frustrating experience.
Overall, apart from the butler, the service from other staff members was very mediocre. I've also seen complaints on social media about their lacking 'soft services.' I'd suggest they learn from Naked Group; I've visited Naked Castle and Naked Retreats several times, and their complimentary services are consistently high-quality, with exceptionally enthusiastic staff.

The hotel is located only 3 bus stop away from Xihu (西湖）West lake，very good location not far from shopping street as well.
Cozy lobby with very friendly receptionist who even guide us to set up Alipay and how use Alipay to pay for the bus fare to West lake. Our room is very spacious, clean and comfortable. The overall stay is a happy and welcoming. We will definitely recommend our family and friends to book this hotel if they are travelling to Hangzhou.

CCeciliaOverall, it was good and felt like a home away from home. There are no twin-bed rooms with full lake views, so we had to book a partial lake view room. The air conditioning in the room seemed a bit weak; even in May, we had to set it to maximum fan speed and the lowest temperature to feel comfortable. I wonder how it will cope in the peak summer. The breakfast restaurant's food quality and service need some improvement. The waitstaff looked unhappy, as if they were dreading their shift. Although the restaurant opens at 7 AM, steamed dim sum wasn't brought out until 7:20 AM. Guests who had to catch early trains couldn't enjoy hot buns and coarse grains. The coffee machine was broken, and the mini wontons were overcooked. I hope breakfast can be more diverse and less formulaic, so guests staying two nights or more can try different dishes each day.

During the off-season, the price is quite affordable, and you can even see West Lake from the rooms, making it excellent value for money. Transportation is convenient, the front desk staff are welcoming, and breakfast is decent. I'll definitely choose Xinqiao Hotel again next time I'm in Hangzhou. Highly recommended!

Before my stay, I chatted with them to understand what was around the hotel for evening visits and how long it would take to get to Lingyin Temple, and they patiently explained everything. When I left, I forgot my invoice, but after contacting them on WeChat, they promptly helped me get a new one. The overall quality of the front desk staff is excellent. The room was small but perfectly adequate, and I had a very good night's rest. If you're planning to visit Lingyin Temple, the scenic area has traffic restrictions, but there are special shuttle services nearby to take you in. Highly recommended!

GGuest UserOur stay at Landison Longjing Resort Hangzhou was so memorable and absolutely magnificent that highlights remain sharp, vivid, and immensely uplifting. As tea lovers, it would have been lovely enough to be back in deciduous forests with bursting red maples and bright yellow Ginko trees accentuating autumn colors surrounding the beautifully manicured Longjing (Dragon Well) tea plantations that rest quietly within the hills of the peaceful landscape so very close to the resort—next to and just across the street, in fact!
However, our trip’s joys skyrocketed with our stay at the Landison. The staff was totally fantastic! Exceptional service in every way. Working with a phone translator Tracy, Brandy, Wen Yi (I hope his name is spelled correctly!), and Chris provided patient, attentive, and thorough care, concern, and heartwarming attention as they fully considered and answered our many daily questions on where to go, what to do, how to get there and back. (We were thrilled to use the excellent public transportation in and around Hangzhou. The hotel is just meters from the bus stop of two main lines. These buses provided easy connections to other main lines linking us to much of the rest of the city) Staff also guided us where to buy excellent tea, which turned out to be right there at the hotel, as well as from other lovely teashops nearby!
Landison’s breakfast menu, included in our booking, remained the same throughout our stay and never disappointed. Every day we enjoyed a large selection of beautiful, delicious food that included fresh fruit, vegetables, egg dishes of differing styles, rice, dim sum, pastries, and our go-to each day: a piping hot bowl of noodles, prepared to order by the chef standing behind the varied selection of noodles and fixings! There was so much fresh, delicious, interesting, vegetarian cuisine we can’t account for the entire extensive buffet.
The dining staff was totally incredible with their refined, careful, complete attention. Dining Room Manager Xu became our dear, memorable friend, offering us sweet, caring personal attention and comfort throughout our visit. We couldn’t help feeling disappointed when we didn’t see her the day before we were to leave. When we returned to the hotel for the evening and saw her through a dining room window, we popped into the area to say hello and a magical connection manifested that only world travel can provide, when the distance between two vastly different cultures disappears under the glow of human kindness, warmth, and connection. She provided such outstanding delight for us that our hearts hurt when we had to say goodbye to her. When she translated on her mobile phone, “looking forward to seeing you again,” we smiled broadly and added a very hopeful nod in agreement.
Extra lovely perks included nightly delivery of a delicate, nourishing white mushroom soup to keep us warm and help us sleep, a specialty of the establishment. It was tasty and nurturing every day! The housekeeping staff was amiable and friendly, mutually acknowledging and appreciating the human relationship!
In addition, the parking area staff offered cheerful, welcoming, and happy engagement with us throughout our stay.
Our extraordinary stay at the Landison is the kind of experience that highlights the vast benefits of world travel where the barriers of worldly concerns and tensions can fade away or even disappear into the significant and transformative mix and engagement with a time and place different from where we come from or know habitually. Where one realizes that, although time and place may differ considerably and provide many positive catalysts for meaningful change, the human heart and mind are inextricably linked together by way of mutual desires for happiness, well-being, safety, expression, and connection, however that may unfold in its immeasurable arrangements. GGuest UserI originally planned to stay for just one night as I was passing through, but they upgraded me to a high-floor room with a distant view of the Baochu Pagoda. The environment was fantastic, and the large balcony offered stunning views of West Lake. I found the transportation convenient and the service and atmosphere excellent, so I decided to stay an extra night. I'll definitely be back.
