Facilities: The shower pressure is great, there's an electric toilet, and the hairdryer is powerful. Environment: It's located right at one end of the scenic area, just turn right after entering. Very easy to find. It's close to Lingyin Temple, Beigaofeng Cableway, and the Lingyin Temple bus stop. Service: Excellent. The staff contacted us by phone a week in advance and even created a WeChat group to inform us about local transportation. 🚗 On the day of arrival, they asked for our estimated time of arrival in Hangzhou and sent a business van to pick us up from outside the traffic control zone. The driver was very enthusiastic! 💁 The front desk staff waited for us at the village entrance, helped us with our luggage, and led us to the B&B (it was only a short walk). Once we arrived, they made us tea and recommended restaurants. A tip for everyone: remember the location. Although the staff will come to pick you up again if you get lost, if you come back late when it's dark, it can be easy to get lost. My friend and I had a bit of trouble finding our way back, and we even ran into others who were also looking for their B&B. 😆 🌃 The night shift staff member was truly wonderful. When we returned at night and asked about hiking, as it was our first time and we weren't familiar with the routes for Lingyin Temple, Lingshun Temple, etc., he even drew a map on paper to help us understand. He was very patient and meticulous! I highly recommend both of Jixian's B&Bs, I've stayed at both. The service is standardized and systematic, which is very impressive for such a popular scenic spot. Even in a place that doesn't lack tourists, they still treat every guest with care. It's clear that everyone, from the owner to every staff member, is responsible and has a great attitude.

Facilities: The hostel is well-equipped with amenities like elevators, air conditioning, laundry rooms, direct drinking water dispensers, and vending machines. There's even an e-sports room, and it seems some room types include free access. The bathrooms have a dry/wet separation, so you don't have to worry about getting your clean clothes wet when showering. There are squat toilets, Western-style toilets, and accessible toilets. Plus, it seems you can rent Hanfu at the front desk, and they can show movies in the common area. Cleanliness: I haven't kept up with new hostel brands in a while. In the past, hostel guests focused more on community atmosphere, but this place meets the needs of both new and old generations of hostel-goers. While providing social and entertainment common areas, the cleanliness is also astonishing. I can only say this is the cleanest hostel I've ever stayed at in China, even surpassing the standards of YHA HK. I wonder if the owner is running at a loss. There are plenty of cleaning staff who clean the common areas almost 24 hours a day. Every time I went to the bathroom/toilet, I'd see staff working. They almost achieve a 'one guest, one clean' standard; the trash cans are never full. In such a clean environment, guests should also voluntarily maintain the public space. Environment: It's directly opposite the West Lake scenic area, very close to in77 and Kerry Centre. There are convenience stores nearby, and the hostel itself has multiple vending machines. It's very convenient for dining, sightseeing, and transportation. Service: Single rooms come with complimentary disposable bath towels and slippers. The front desk staff are all young, on duty 24 hours, and have excellent service attitudes – friendly and responsible. They provide timely assistance and ensure guest safety during check-in.

This was my first time in Hangzhou, and I decided to try this highly-rated hostel. First off, the cleanliness was pretty good, and I was satisfied with the shared bathroom facilities. However, I specifically chose a single room with a window hoping to improve my sleep quality. While I anticipated some noise issues, I never expected it to be *this* bad. I could hear every slightly loud conversation from the next room. People walking by outside, those brushing their teeth late at night, and especially those going up to the rooftop terrace to chat or smoke – my room just happened to be right by the rooftop entrance. This non-stop noise continued until 1 or 2 AM… I simply couldn't sleep. Additionally, the air conditioning is centrally controlled and was too cold. I called customer service, and they said they'd switch it to fan mode, but then the room became stuffy and hot, which wasn't comfortable. What's more, when I opened the curtains in the morning, I was 'greeted' by a trash can and a smoking bin right outside my window glass… I had no choice but to switch hotels.

This was my first time staying in a hostel, and I only knew that 'Backpacker's Ten Years' was the most famous, so I booked it without much thought. The environment was quite good, and the location was convenient, close to both bus and subway stations, and also near scenic spots. My roommates were all very considerate; during my three-night stay, no one spoke loudly in the room. There were some normal sounds of movement, likely due to different travel schedules. The only minor drawback was that the power outlet by my bed was a bit loose, making it easy for the charger to lose connection and occasionally emitting a faint crackling sound. The photo I've included was taken with my camera; I didn't capture the room's interior, but it was also perfectly fine. Overall, it was a good experience, and I'd consider choosing 'Backpacker's Ten Years' hostels again for future travels.

Overall, it was decent. My special-offer room was fine, but space was limited – no room for a suitcase, and even a backpack was a tight fit. Soundproofing was average for a hostel, neither good nor bad, and really depends on the other guests. Facilities-wise, I'd rate them as upper-average among the hostels I've stayed in. There were generally enough sinks, showers, and squat toilets. However, most of the faucets in the wash area only had cold water. I finally found one with hot water, but it was scalding, and there was no temperature control, which was a bit disappointing. The drying area was also quite small, and the shower slippers provided were messy. I've stayed in other hostels where disinfected slippers were clearly separated and neatly arranged, so this wasn't ideal. The mattress was a bit soft, okay for a night or two. On the plus side, it's very close to the subway – literally just a few steps from the station exit. Considering the location and the good ceiling height in the private room which didn't feel cramped, it's acceptable for a short stay.

For the price, you really can't expect too much. The room was quite clean, at least the bed and bathroom were spotless, and it had all the essentials – TV, slippers, shower gel, shampoo, disposable amenities, etc. However, getting into the hotel involves a few steps, and then you have to walk a few more steps from the front desk to the elevator, which is quite inconvenient when carrying luggage. Also, the hotel front desk is connected to a dessert shop, which I suspect sells durian-flavored desserts, so the front desk and elevator always have a sour, unpleasant smell. Security also needs improvement as outsiders and delivery drivers can go upstairs directly without needing a key card. On the plus side, the location is excellent. There are restaurants, cafes, dessert shops nearby, and a street of bars in the evening, making it convenient to walk back to the hotel after a drink.

I also had the chance to indulge in the hotel's spa services, which were truly rejuvenating and added an extra layer of luxury to my stay. Overall, my stay at this hotel was nothing short of exceptional. It is evident that the hotel takes pride in providing a top-notch experience for its guests. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a luxurious yet welcoming accommodation option, complete with excellent service and a prime location. I will certainly be returning to this beautiful establishment on future visits.”

The location is got there is a nice street with shops and a temple just the parallel street. The hotel was hard for me to find as a non chinese speaker, there was no label hotel in english. It is right between two food restorants. For the price I can't ask for much more. It was clean and the room with window felt spacious. I was not happy because they didn't make my bed, they just changed the towel but my bed was as I left wirh messy sheets.

Location is very good. There is a big mall across with an MRT station at its basement and another mrt being built directly across. There is cafes, bakeries and restaurants below and around the whole building and far more across the streets including fruit stalls and wet markets. Staff is very helpful and kind enough to let me upgrade to several rooms of my choice for free. Staff also helped me change cash into wechatpay and helped me call the deliver when my online purchase was sent to the wrong address. I never find staff this nice anywhere else in several countries. The apartment rooms and furnitures are not very new, not old, but they are very well taken care of. My room was very bright, comfortable and clean. My bed, sofa and office chair were very comfortable. Aircon and fridge were very cold. Washing machine is good but no dryer option. Detergent and dish cleaner was given upon request. I wish there was a microwave and clothes iron in the hallway and at least a small table mirror in the room. Some areas need to be cleaned better, because the bed headboard, hook tray stand and kettle tray had a lot of dust. The gap (where we insert our fingers) of the fridge door, the washing machine door and trash can lid needs to be cleaned. The shower was clogged and the water went down very slowly and flooded easily. Amenities wise, generous, everything was provided from towels, comb, toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo, bodywash to room slippers and shower slippers. Bottled water, some coffee and tea were provided in the room. My nice room is directly at the entrance facing the lift. If you don’t like the noise of people coming from the lift or talking at the lift, try to request rooms further away. I like my room more than other rooms so the noise was worth the comfort. Two months in China and this is the best place I ever stayed.

My stay at Pod Inn (Qingchun Square, Jingfang Road Subway Station) exceeded my expectations! The rooms were clean and tidy, and every detail was thoughtfully thought out. The price was affordable and the value was excellent. The location is perfect, right next to the subway station, making travel extremely convenient. Whether you're traveling for business or leisure, this is an ideal choice. I highly recommend it to anyone who appreciates quality and value! 👍
