GGuest UserI had a truly delightful stay at Wanju·Jijian Lingyin Homestay (West Lake Lingyin Branch). This charming 民宿 offers a perfect blend of comfort, warmth, and tasteful design, making it an ideal retreat near Lingyin Temple and the scenic West Lake area. You can walk to the Lingyin Temple from the 民宿.
The hospitality here is exceptional. The boss of the 民宿 was incredibly warm and thoughtful — every night, they prepared small, comforting desserts for guests, and every morning, they served a simple yet delicious breakfast. The staff were equally friendly and attentive, always ready to help with any request. On our last day, they even kindly helped us carry our luggage to the car that was taking us to the airport, which was such a thoughtful touch.
The 民宿 itself is incredibly cozy, with a dark-wood interior that gives it a warm, intimate, and relaxing atmosphere. Our room was clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated, perfectly complementing the serene surroundings. It was the perfect place to unwind after exploring West Lake and the nearby temples.
The location is both convenient and something to plan around. The 民宿 is situated within the Xihu (West Lake) scenic area, meaning many attractions are nearby. However, traffic within this zone can be very heavy, especially during peak hours or weekends, so travelling in and out can sometimes be challenging. Once you're settled in, though, the proximity to major sights is a big advantage.
Overall, I would still highly recommend Wanju·Jijian Lingyin Homestay (West Lake Lingyin Branch) to anyone visiting Hangzhou. The heartfelt service, thoughtful touches, cozy dark-wood setting, comfortable rooms, and serene environment made our stay truly memorable. I would definitely return on my next trip.

GGuest UserThis was my first time staying in a hotel like this, and it was perfect for a solo traveler like me. I originally wanted to book a hostel, but they were all full, so I booked 'One Lemon' instead. I arrived late at night, and the two long-haired ladies at the front desk were incredibly friendly, spoke softly, and had smiles on their faces. They even escorted me to my room. The room was very small, but it was just right for me. Since I'm scared of ghosts, having the rooms close together, small and compact, made me feel safe staying alone. I also really liked the shared bathrooms; it felt a bit like going to a public bathhouse. Plus, there was always an auntie cleaning, so it looked very clean and comfortable. Other facilities were also well-equipped, like the water dispenser, which made getting hot water very convenient. If I had to mention something negative, it would be the room floor. While there wasn't any visible trash, the floor itself was very dirty. I used a tissue to wipe up some spilled soup, and the tissue turned completely black. I suggest that the room floors be regularly disinfected and mopped with water. Since the floor is made of adhesive tiles, it could also be wiped with wet wipes or a disposable towel.

AAnonymous UserThe most important thing: everyone is very considerate (both guys and girls), consciously keeping their voices down when entering rooms and using the common study areas. The location is excellent, quite close to the subway station, making it very convenient to get to all the famous attractions. Security is great; you need to swipe your card for each floor in the elevator. The common study area is large with excellent facilities, making it very convenient for everyone to work and study – I really like it! The bedding is very comfortable to sleep on and helps you relax. The bathroom has toilet seat covers and disinfectant spray. The shower has hot water quickly, and shower gel and shampoo are provided.

MmayrpamintuanYouwang Meicen Homestay is conveniently located right next to Hefang Old Street, making it an excellent choice for travelers who enjoy being close to a lively walking street filled with various food stalls, eateries, and shops. The location is very vibrant and convenient, especially in the evenings. However, do note that there are stairs leading to the property, so it may not be ideal if you are traveling with a lot of heavy luggage.
When we arrived, our room was not yet ready, so we took the opportunity to explore the surrounding area. The owner was very proactive and messaged us as soon as the room became available, and by the time we returned, our luggage had already been placed inside the room, which we appreciated.
The room itself was spacious and uniquely designed with two levels: a living area downstairs and the bedroom upstairs. There were plenty of hangers, a clothes rack, and an open cabinet for organizing belongings. The mini bar included bottled water that was replenished daily, and the bathroom came with complete amenities. Overall, the room was clean and comfortable, though I did notice a small face mask wrapper left near the bed.
One highlight was the availability of staff 24/7. One night, our key card stopped working, but thankfully there was someone on-site who assisted us immediately. The property also has a vending machine, a 24/7 eatery, and a taproom near the street entrance that stays open late, adding to the convenience.
Overall, Youwang Meicen Homestay offers a comfortable stay in a prime location, with spacious rooms, helpful staff, and easy access to food and nightlifeideal for travelers who want to experience Hefang Old Street up close.

GGuest UserThis isn't the first, second, or even third time I've stayed here! As long as it's conveniently located and I need a place, this is always my top choice. Even though it's not an en-suite bathroom, both the toilet and shower rooms are bright and clean, which is a real pleasure to see. The mattress and pillows in the room are spotless, soft, and comfortable. Food delivery and package services are convenient, and they even have a dedicated locked room for luggage storage. Overall, the experience is consistently great. A quick tip: if you need to take a taxi, leave early, as there's a risk of traffic jams due to the high volume of people and vehicles in this area.

GGuest UserIt's OK in terms of cost performance. I went to Olympic Sports Center to watch a concert and stayed for only one night. I booked the hotel late so I gave priority to hotels close to the subway and business district. There are pros and cons, some of which are of course subjective.
Let me start with the advantages:
1 About five minutes walk from the subway station
2 The commercial area is just across the street, with lots of food and drinks
3. The front desk is open 24 hours a day. The people are very nice and helpful.
4 The sanitation is good. Because the room is white, you can clearly see whether it is clean or not.
5. Powerful air conditioning
6. Takeaway food can be delivered directly to your door
Then the disadvantages:
1 The room is not very big. Although it is a double bed room, it will be very cramped for two people. Especially the bathroom and shower room are very small, and you have to be careful not to hit your arms against the wall when you turn around.
2 The water heater can only guarantee hot water for less than 20 minutes. The water temperature will continue to drop to about 30 degrees, and then you need to turn off the hot water and wait for the water heater to reheat. I stopped twice to wait for the water to boil while washing my hair, and it took me almost an hour in total.
3 The sheets, quilts and pillows are all pilling. They are clean but may have been used too many times.
4 The sound insulation is average, and the sound from the corridor outside is very clear
5. The projection room was set, but the angle of the projector was weird, at least you couldn't see it when you were lying on the bed.
6. The sofa is more for display than for practical use
7 The tissues provided are average, especially when going to the toilet, it is best to bring your own
