I chose the Mercure on Fengqi Road for my trip to Hangzhou, and overall, I was quite satisfied with my stay. It's very close to the subway station, so getting to West Lake and Hubin for shopping was a breeze. The room was meticulously cleaned daily, ensuring a comfortable night's sleep. The staff, especially Wanwan, were incredibly efficient and responsive whenever I had an issue. The breakfast selection was sufficient to fill me up and was enjoyable. All in all, it offers great value for money, and I would definitely consider staying here again on my next visit to Hangzhou.

This hotel's location is absolutely fantastic! There's a bus stop right outside the main entrance, and if you turn left and walk less than 500 meters, you'll hit Southern Song Imperial Street and Hefang Street, which are packed with creative cultural shops and trendy photo spots. The hotel itself has a gorgeous retro decor, very old-money style and super tasteful. Plus, coffee, milk tea, and chrysanthemum tea are all complimentary and free-flowing. They also have an underground parking garage, which is a huge plus if you're driving.

Guest UserMy overall stay was fantastic, and it offered great value for money! The hotel's location is excellent, making it super convenient for getting around by taxi, shopping, and dining. The room was clean, tidy, and odorless, with soft and comfortable bedding that ensured a very peaceful sleep. The cleanliness was top-notch; even the corners were spotless. The toiletries provided were complete and effective. The front desk service was warm and attentive; check-in and check-out were very quick, and they responded promptly to any requests with a friendly and polite attitude. The overall environment was quiet and peaceful, and the facilities were comprehensive and well-maintained. The breakfast selection was rich and delicious. I'll definitely prioritize this hotel again on my next visit and sincerely recommend it to everyone!

The hotel is conveniently located with bus stops nearby, making it easy to get around. The room wasn't very spacious but had all the necessary amenities. On our first morning, the breakfast selection was very limited because a large group of students on a spring outing had checked in, and the hotel didn't replenish the food in a timely manner, which was a poor experience. Things were better the second day. A nice touch is that the hotel offers late-night snacks in the lobby.

The room was spacious and comfortable, and the staff provided excellent service. The hotel's location was also great, within walking distance to West Lake. The only downside was the parking situation. I had arranged an airport transfer, but the driver arrived early and couldn't find a place to park and wait, so I had to cancel and take a Didi (ride-sharing service) to the airport instead.
I was originally scheduled to stay for four nights, but due to an urgent matter, I requested an early check-out. They promptly called to confirm and helped me cancel the remaining nights, which I really appreciated.

It's like living in a forest, with acorns constantly falling from the trees. The hotel is very clean, with virtually no mosquitoes. The room facilities are all excellent, especially the toilet flushing, which isn't too loud.
Special praise goes to the hotel staff; their service was exceptionally good from check-in to check-out. They provided afternoon tea with fruit platters, nuts, and tea; offered ginger soup and ice packs if you had a cold; and promptly came to your room to help with any issues.
The hotel only offers vegetarian food. I tried it once, and it was quite good and creative. Compared to the Black Pearl Hotel (averaging 1000 RMB per person), it's definitely not quite as good, but it's much better than other vegetarian restaurants in temples. Every ingredient was very fresh, although there were some issues, like the watermelon in the complimentary fruit platter being sweet and the blueberries being extremely sour. If you don't want vegetarian food, the surrounding farmhouses are a good option, offering fish, chicken, stir-fries, etc. I randomly picked a few and none were bad.
The hotel also arranged various courses, including a healing class and Baduanjin (Eight Pieces of Brocade). Lying in a cabin surrounded by trees and feeling the breeze on a platform by the forest river was a truly therapeutic experience! I stayed for two days and there were still many courses I didn't get to try, so I'll make up for them next time! I'll consider bringing my parents next time.

This is an established hotel by West Lake, boasting an excellent location right in the heart of the scenic area. It has hosted many renowned domestic and international figures. While the sanitary facilities are a bit dated, the air conditioning is wonderfully strong, especially in the summer heat. If you want to enjoy the view without tiring your legs, head to the 10th-floor panoramic terrace for West Lake views, or the 17th-floor panoramic restaurant. The staff provides exceptional service; they even prepare two homemade summer drinks, a mint-lime tea and a goji berry tea, which they'll fill your water bottle with to enjoy on the go – lovely! And a 2 PM late check-out? No problem at all! There's also a charming study in the lobby on the ground floor, which is great for photos!

Guest UserOur stay at Landison Longjing Resort Hangzhou was so memorable and absolutely magnificent that highlights remain sharp, vivid, and immensely uplifting. As tea lovers, it would have been lovely enough to be back in deciduous forests with bursting red maples and bright yellow Ginko trees accentuating autumn colors surrounding the beautifully manicured Longjing (Dragon Well) tea plantations that rest quietly within the hills of the peaceful landscape so very close to the resort—next to and just across the street, in fact!
However, our trip’s joys skyrocketed with our stay at the Landison. The staff was totally fantastic! Exceptional service in every way. Working with a phone translator Tracy, Brandy, Wen Yi (I hope his name is spelled correctly!), and Chris provided patient, attentive, and thorough care, concern, and heartwarming attention as they fully considered and answered our many daily questions on where to go, what to do, how to get there and back. (We were thrilled to use the excellent public transportation in and around Hangzhou. The hotel is just meters from the bus stop of two main lines. These buses provided easy connections to other main lines linking us to much of the rest of the city) Staff also guided us where to buy excellent tea, which turned out to be right there at the hotel, as well as from other lovely teashops nearby!
Landison’s breakfast menu, included in our booking, remained the same throughout our stay and never disappointed. Every day we enjoyed a large selection of beautiful, delicious food that included fresh fruit, vegetables, egg dishes of differing styles, rice, dim sum, pastries, and our go-to each day: a piping hot bowl of noodles, prepared to order by the chef standing behind the varied selection of noodles and fixings! There was so much fresh, delicious, interesting, vegetarian cuisine we can’t account for the entire extensive buffet.
The dining staff was totally incredible with their refined, careful, complete attention. Dining Room Manager Xu became our dear, memorable friend, offering us sweet, caring personal attention and comfort throughout our visit. We couldn’t help feeling disappointed when we didn’t see her the day before we were to leave. When we returned to the hotel for the evening and saw her through a dining room window, we popped into the area to say hello and a magical connection manifested that only world travel can provide, when the distance between two vastly different cultures disappears under the glow of human kindness, warmth, and connection. She provided such outstanding delight for us that our hearts hurt when we had to say goodbye to her. When she translated on her mobile phone, “looking forward to seeing you again,” we smiled broadly and added a very hopeful nod in agreement.
Extra lovely perks included nightly delivery of a delicate, nourishing white mushroom soup to keep us warm and help us sleep, a specialty of the establishment. It was tasty and nurturing every day! The housekeeping staff was amiable and friendly, mutually acknowledging and appreciating the human relationship!
In addition, the parking area staff offered cheerful, welcoming, and happy engagement with us throughout our stay.
Our extraordinary stay at the Landison is the kind of experience that highlights the vast benefits of world travel where the barriers of worldly concerns and tensions can fade away or even disappear into the significant and transformative mix and engagement with a time and place different from where we come from or know habitually. Where one realizes that, although time and place may differ considerably and provide many positive catalysts for meaningful change, the human heart and mind are inextricably linked together by way of mutual desires for happiness, well-being, safety, expression, and connection, however that may unfold in its immeasurable arrangements. Thank you very much, Landison Longjing Resort Hangzhou, for helping to create an amazing lifetime memory.

I was on a last-minute trip to Qiandao Lake and arrived at the hotel quite late. Xiao Dong at the front desk was very patient and provided excellent service. The room was nice, and they upgraded me for free.

Guest UserOverall, it was better than I expected, and the location is practically unbeatable. Although it's an older hotel, honestly, the facilities aren't too dated, and there wasn't any noticeable musty smell.
**Pros:** The bathroom was a highlight—it's huge! You'd be lucky to get one with a window. The round bathtub was also a big plus. The shower area is spacious too, and the Grohe showerhead made for a really refreshing experience.
The room layout was quite reasonable, and it's clear that many of the furnishings and facilities were top-of-the-line back in the day.
The hotel service was excellent; the quality of service from this established luxury hotel hasn't diminished, and the valet parking service was spot on.
It's quite rare for an older hotel to have delivery robots, which shows they are keeping their facilities updated.
**Cons:** The mattress was too soft—the softest I've ever slept on. Perhaps soft mattresses were popular in the past, but this one offered no support at all.
Also, the toilet flush seemed a bit weak.
The soundproofing of the door seemed a bit lacking; there was even a slight draft. When the next-door room closed their door, ours would vibrate.
Overall, it's a pretty good deal on weekdays and weekends, especially for a hotel in this location. The value for money might not be as good during holidays.
If you appreciate the old-money style of established luxury hotels or enjoy taking baths, this place is perfect. However, if you're looking for modern decor and smart home features, this isn't the right fit.
