Friendship Hotel Hangzhou

Excellent location, right next to In77 Intime and West Lake. The room was very clean and well-maintained. The twin beds were 1.35 meters wide. Breakfast at the revolving restaurant on the 20th floor was fantastic. The only downside is that the room is a bit small at 25 square meters.

Clean and cozy, the revolving restaurant for breakfast was a unique experience that my kids absolutely loved. We even received a complimentary souvenir upon checkout, and the service was excellent. Plus, the hotel's location is fantastic, making it easy to get around.

Based on my hotel preferences, I checked the top ten highest-rated luxury hotels online and chose this one. Its advantages include being close to West Lake, making sightseeing convenient, and its city center location, which is great for dining and shopping. It also has a parking lot, perfect for those driving. I initially booked for one night, and after checking in, I felt the actual experience largely matched the description, so I extended my stay for another day. The hotel was renovated in 2022, and its biggest selling point is the rotating buffet restaurant on the twentieth floor. If you book breakfast, you can enjoy the pleasure of dining while overlooking the beautiful scenery of West Lake.

After ten years, I've returned to Hangzhou, and this time I chose the Hangzhou Friendship Hotel. First, let's talk about the location: it's conveniently accessible from both Hangzhou East Railway Station and Hangzhou Airport via Metro Line 1. It's right next to the IN77 shopping mall and very close to West Lake, which is within walking distance. Moving on to the hotel itself, I stayed in a business twin room with breakfast on the 12th floor. The room was clean and tidy, and the housekeeping staff were very friendly, always greeting me warmly. Breakfast is served on the 20th floor in a revolving restaurant, offering stunning views of West Lake every morning. The steamed pork buns and sweet potatoes were particularly delicious, with the sweet potatoes being incredibly sweet. From the concierge to the front desk staff, everyone was excellent. My stay was very pleasant, and I hope to have the chance to visit again in another 10 years and stay at the Hangzhou Friendship Hotel once more!

I'm going to call this the best hotel to stay at in the Lakeside area, bar none. 1. First off, the value for money is exceptional. There's almost no price difference during holidays. We booked a family suite, which was a bit pricier, but a standard double room is only 500-600 RMB. Are you sure you don't want to stay here? 2. The 20th-floor revolving restaurant offers breakfast with panoramic views of West Lake – and don't forget, a night's stay is only 500-600 RMB. 3. Downstairs, you've got Intime Hubin 88 and Gonglian Mall, so you'll find everything you need. West Lake is just a five-minute walk, and you can catch the musical fountain whenever you like. 4. The small restaurants opened by the hotel are delicious! And the prices are very reasonable! I absolutely loved that ramen shop! (Forgot the name, but it's right around the corner from the hotel.) 5. The rooms are new and well-designed; though small, they have everything you need. The staff are warm and attentive. The bedding is comfortable! That's really important! Now, for just one drawback: there's no underground parking. Surface parking spots are limited, and there are no charging stations, making it inconvenient to get in and out. Haiping Road is bumper-to-bumper traffic every single day. Overall, I was very satisfied with this New Year's Day trip. Thank you, hotel.
