Scenic Hotels in Hangzhou

"The hotel boasts an excellent location at the start of Southern Song Imperial Street. My primary reason for choosing it for my Hangzhou trip was its proximity to the subway; the Ding'an Road subway station is just a two-minute walk away, making getting around incredibly convenient. After checking in, I discovered numerous dining, entertainment, and shopping options nearby, all within the Southern Song Imperial Street scenic area itself. This allows for an immersive experience of both the historical charm of people strolling the Imperial Street during the Southern Song era and the blend of modern architecture and cultural heritage. The hotel is also close to West Lake and De Shou Palace, which are stunning when the evening lights come on. There are many photogenic spots around, making it perfect for tourists. While the room isn't huge, the quality is high. The hairdryer and toiletries clearly show thoughtful attention to detail, and all the facilities are good, with excellent air conditioning. The breakfast the next day was also very comprehensive. The Chinese and Western buffet had all the usual favorites like noodles, rice noodles, siu mai, soup dumplings, soy milk, and fried dough sticks, which I thoroughly enjoyed. The self-service coffee in the back hall was particularly refreshing and invigorating. There's also a gym and a laundry room on the basement level. Since there weren't many people, I didn't have to wait to use the laundry facilities, which are available all day. There's even a garment steamer for ironing clothes. The hotel staff provided excellent service, responding promptly to guest requests. Disposable toilet seat covers, earplugs, and soap were available (to be picked up at the front desk), which was very convenient. The front desk also offers luggage storage. All in all, it's a very comfortable and cozy hotel to stay in."

"The hotel is nestled within the West Lake Scenic Area, boasting a unique appeal with its exceptional location and rich historical background. Our family trip truly highlighted this, and we thoroughly enjoyed the hotel's beautiful scenery, delicious food, and excellent service. A special shout-out to Ziwei Hall for thoughtfully arranging longevity noodles and a small cake for my elderly relative's birthday – a truly heartfelt gesture, highly commendable! 👍 There were a few minor issues, however. The check-in wait time on Sunday was excessively long. The facilities in Building 8 were a bit lacking, with several power outlets having poor contact. We were also plagued by mosquitoes and midges while strolling in the garden, and I suggest the hotel proactively reminds guests to take precautions upon check-in. Nevertheless, these small drawbacks don't overshadow the overall experience. I hope the hotel continues to improve and enhance its services even further."

"Extremely satisfied, great value for money, and excellent service! I booked with the front desk in advance for a complimentary airport shuttle, and they even prepared breakfast for my early morning flight, including milk, cake, bread, nuts, and fruit. The driver also helped with luggage both loading and unloading. The room was quite spacious, and there are many snack options nearby."

The panoramic elevator lobby offered an unobstructed view, and it was super convenient as it's right outside the subway exit! 🌹 I highly recommend the buffet; my kid ate 8 oysters in one sitting! The price was very friendly for guests."

"This hotel was great in all aspects. The location was excellent, the environment was lovely, and the cleanliness was top-notch. The only minor issue was that our room was a bit far from the elevator, and it felt a little roundabout to get there. There are many rooms, divided into A, B, and C sections, with each room having three parts. That's why the front desk staff made sure to explain the A/B/C distinction during check-in. Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay, and the service was excellent."

The Hyatt Place Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport boasts a superb location, directly connected to Terminal 4, allowing you to reach the check-in counters within a few minutes' walk. It's incredibly convenient for early morning flights or layovers. The room was spacious, and the double-glazed windows provided excellent soundproofing, making airplane noise almost imperceptible. The bedding was comfortable and clean. We received complimentary fast-track security passes upon check-in, and breakfast could be packed to go. Overall, the hotel has a business-casual, minimalist vibe with efficient service. And a special shout-out to the lovely front desk lady who checked me in – she was incredibly warm and helpful ❤️"

"Opened in 2026, this hotel is located within the West Lake Scenic Area and is quite easy to find right by the road. The facilities are still new as it's recently renovated. However, the building itself is an old house, with very narrow stairs and poor sound insulation – you can hear noises from downstairs and the street late at night. For someone with allergies, it was a real struggle... the air conditioning unit was directly above my head. It was too hot with the AC off at night, but if I turned it on, it blew directly on me and I kept sneezing. Also, breakfast is delivered to the room on a tray, as there's no restaurant."

"Located on the West Lake waterfront, you can enjoy views of West Lake and Baochu Pagoda from the room, and the lobby opens right out to the lake. At the same time, you can also experience the vibrant and lively atmosphere of Hangzhou. There are many hotels by West Lake, but my wife has a special fondness for this one. Haha."
