Hotels in Huanglong Sports Centre, Hangzhou

Overall, my stay was fantastic. The hotel has been recently renovated, and the rooms are spacious with all facilities clean and well-maintained. The staff were friendly and attentive. The location is excellent, right near a subway exit, making transportation very convenient. The mattress is on the firmer side, which is great for guests with back issues. The air conditioning provides strong cooling and heating, ensuring a comfortable temperature. All in all, a pleasant and recommendable experience.

Strategically located in the Huanglong business district, this is my top choice for hotels when visiting Hangzhou. A taxi from Xiaoshan Airport gets you to the hotel very quickly. YY from guest services gave me a warm welcome and was so genuinely friendly! The Liuxia series rooms have a great layout and are spacious. Climbing the mountain opposite, Huanglong Tucui, offers stunning views of West Lake from the peak – hiking in the morning was especially refreshing! It's a classic, old-school 5-star hotel with a well-maintained decor, making for a very comfortable stay. Plus, right outside to the right, there's a bus stop with a direct route to Lingyin Temple!

The hotel's location is great, not far from West Lake Scenic Area, and public transport like buses and subways are very convenient, with a bus stop right outside. The bed was soft and comfortable, and the toiletries were well-stocked. The laundry room downstairs with its washer and dryer was a nice bonus. However, there were a few downsides: The shower was really difficult to use. I don't know why the temperature kept fluctuating between hot and cold, even though there's no adjustment knob. It might be okay in summer, but it would be a real problem in winter. Also, the shampoo and shower gel weren't refilled promptly enough. You couldn't tell how much was left in the bottles from the outside, and I only realized they were almost empty halfway through showering. For some reason, the TV also wasn't working; it just showed 'no signal' when I turned it on. One of the two remote controls was completely unresponsive, and it was too late to ask about it.

The hotel exudes quality. The room was incredibly spacious, and the way the light played off the interiors was beautiful. Most importantly, it offered great value for money. There was plenty of parking in the garage too. It's perfectly suited for business trips or couples' getaways. The hotel also has a wide variety of dining options, including Chinese, Western, and Japanese. Plus, there are several coffee shops in the lobby. It's truly a hotel you could spend a whole day in. This was by far the best hotel I stayed at on this trip.

Stole half a day of leisure! The wooden aesthetic is so pleasing to the eye, and the scent of tea is intoxicating. The room is bright and quiet. It's just a short walk to Broken Bridge and Huanglong Cave. The robot delivery service feels super secure, and you can even try on Hanfu for photos! Front desk staffer Xiao Yang's smile really brightens your day~

whilst the location isn't overly ideal and drivers may have a hard time locating the hotel, the rooms are lovely and the bathroom facilities are incredible. my room has alot of dirty markings on the wall facing the bed which wasn't amazing to see but other than that I have very little complaints about my stay, a buffet breakfast was included in my cheap fare but I wasn't able to try it out due to oversleeping. the Joy Hotel isn't anything fancy but it leaves little to complain about

Firm bed, big spacious room with no lingering smell of cigarette despite smoking is allowed in certain rooms. Received a complimentary breakfast from front desk staff Alex, very nice of him. Breakfast is good, offering mostly local food and a few western pastries but if I have to pay, I would rather eat out for more authentic experience. The washing machine in room is definitely helpful amenity so I don’t have to queue at the laundry room to sort out washing and drying. However, the washing machine is very noisy so staff should let guests know best to wash during the day or before they head out and not at night like we did as we have to paused the drying as the loud noise is preventing sleep. They can improve the staffing during day time because I arrived around 1pm, no one helped with luggage, the door was very heavy so it’s one thing to manage luggage up the curb side and it’s another to drag the luggage through the heavy door and then I realised there was only 1 staff working at that hour, and he was overwhelmed with requests left and right from guests, calls to delivery service so staffing need to be adequate during day time as through the day there will be a lot of guests interactions and having staff to respond timely improves experience and impression of hotel. Overall a good stay

I've stayed here before, and it's been completely renovated – what a transformation! It's gone up several levels in class. The room was great too, no strange smells, and they even have a big sofa and a large flat-screen TV. I called the front desk for water multiple times in the middle of the night, and they were always so nice! I'll definitely stay here again next time!

My stay this time was exceptional! Even though I checked in late at night, the front desk service was incredibly thoughtful and attentive, and they were friendly throughout the whole process. There was even tea available in the lobby, which was a lovely touch. The hotel also allowed for a late check-out, which was very flexible. The room itself was spacious, clean, and odor-free, and the bathroom amenities were spotless and well-stocked. The soundproofing was excellent, allowing for a truly peaceful night's sleep. Overall, the experience far exceeded my expectations, and I'll definitely consider staying here again on my next trip.
