Hotels in East Railway Station Area, Hangzhou

I chose this hotel for my trip to Hangzhou, and its biggest advantage is the excellent location. It's incredibly close to Hangzhou East Railway Station, just a few minutes' walk from the exit, so you don't have to bother with a taxi when you have luggage. It's especially convenient for catching an early morning high-speed train. There's a subway nearby, making it easy to get to West Lake and other parts of the city. Plus, there are plenty of malls and restaurants in the vicinity, so dining and shopping are a breeze. The room was spotless, the bathroom had a separate shower and toilet, and the soundproofing was excellent – I couldn't hear any noise from the station. The bedding was soft, ensuring a very peaceful night's sleep. The front desk staff were efficient in checking me in and were warm and polite. Overall, it offers great value for money. Whenever I travel to and from Hangzhou by high-speed train, this will definitely be my first choice. I highly recommend it to frequent travelers.

The hotel is relatively new, with good facilities and a convenient location. There are many food options downstairs, and a robot delivers takeout to your room. The breakfast was surprisingly good, exceeding expectations, though it lacked a bit of Hangzhou character. The front desk service was good, but I didn't give full marks for service for two reasons: 1. I had purchased a room voucher through a platform, and all three times I tried to book, the hotel had closed the voucher reservation channel. Not a single room type was available. That's right, not a single day for several months before the expiration date had availability. If the hotel isn't willing to host voucher customers, they shouldn't participate in such promotions. Buying a voucher only to find the booking channel closed is quite disingenuous. 2. The staff member who helped with luggage should ideally be an experienced veteran. While it might seem like a simple task, the first service person a guest encounters upon arrival is the doorman, and having luggage delivered to the room provides an additional opportunity for interaction. This kind of job is best handled by seasoned professionals who understand social nuances, as it can significantly enhance a guest's impression. This time, I encountered a rather inexperienced young man who seemed quite new. I don't mean to be difficult, but having stayed in hotels for decades, this is the first time I've ever had a staff member deliver a luggage cart upon check-out, then just leave without saying a word. It was quite a shock. Otherwise, everything else was generally good. It's a business hotel, so I won't compare it to family-friendly resorts.

This hotel apartment is really close to the East Station – just a short walk after exiting, which is super convenient for anyone catching a high-speed train! The room was clean, the bedding was comfortable, and I slept soundly until I woke up naturally. There's a convenience store downstairs for easy shopping, and a Vientiane City Mall right across the street with plenty of food options. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm traveling by train. Five stars!

A special thanks to Cathy at the reception, who kindly allowed us to check in earlier, which made our trip much more convenient. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, with a great variety of fresh and tasty options. The location is also very convenient. I always trust Atour's hygiene, and this time I specifically checked the nooks and crannies. Everything was clean, even under the nightstands and behind the toilet. The sheets had a faint, pleasant laundry detergent scent, not that overpowering artificial fragrance. The shower water pressure was excellent, making for a really refreshing wash.

This hotel is perfect for those who like to sleep in! It only takes a few minutes to go upstairs and check in, so no need to worry about traffic or bad weather. Breakfast is also decent. It's only about 20 minutes from West Lake, making it very convenient to get around. The best part is its proximity to the ticket gate and the designated pick-up spot for ride-sharing services (Gate 6).

This was my second stay in a deluxe twin room. The hotel is conveniently located right by the CBD with easy access to the subway. The view from the window was excellent and it was very quiet. The mattress and pillows were exceptionally comfortable. There's a fridge, and the hotel thoughtfully provides complimentary water and drinks. Breakfast was plentiful, offering both Chinese and Western options (including siomai, noodles, stir-fries, and bread), along with a good selection of fruits (watermelon, pear, cantaloupe, dragon fruit). They also have a laundry room with a dryer, a gym, and a delivery robot that brings takeout to your room. The front desk staff were warm and polite, even proactively offering an umbrella on a rainy day. There are plenty of restaurants and entertainment options nearby, making it incredibly convenient.

Overall, it exceeded my expectations. At this price point, many hotels have cramped spaces, but the Hampton's lobby is quite grand, and the decor isn't old-fashioned; it's very new. The breakfast is abundant, and it offers great value for money. The service was excellent! The location is very close to the train station and not far from the core area of Gongshu District. A minor incident: the bottom edge of the bed was a bit high off the floor. When I got out of bed, my foot landed close to the bed frame, and when I stood up, I cut my heel. I hope they can improve this. Also, the hairdryer was too old-fashioned.
