Service: The service attitude was superb, and the staff guided us through the check-in process from start to finish. Environment: The room was spacious, elegantly decorated, and the hotel was quiet and pleasant. Cleanliness: The room was spotless, and the entire hotel maintained excellent hygiene. Bedding: The sheets, duvet covers, and pillows were the best we've encountered in any hotel during this trip. The bedding felt incredibly soft against the skin, and the pillows were just the right firmness, ensuring a comfortable night's sleep. Food: While the breakfast selection wasn't huge, every item was exceptionally delicious and well-prepared. They had everything from NFC juice, milk, coffee, and soy milk to Coke and Sprite. I highly recommend the incredibly tasty xiaolongbao, and the freshly made beef noodles were absolutely fantastic – the beef was tender and soft, and the noodles had a great chew. Everyone should definitely try them! Parking: The hotel has its own parking spaces, which makes parking safe and worry-free. The most important thing bears repeating three times: You can feed squirrels in the hotel courtyard, you can feed squirrels in the hotel courtyard, you can feed squirrels in the hotel courtyard! This was a huge hit with the kids, allowing them to watch the squirrels eat up close. Finally, I'm giving a five-star review again. Hesheli Hotel received unanimous approval from our entire family, and we hope to have the chance to visit again in the future.

The hotel boasts an excellent location, quiet despite being on a main street, and close to all the attractions. It's also just a three-minute walk to the subway station. The facilities are comprehensive, the lobby has a stylish and minimalist design, and the rooms are well-equipped with all necessary amenities, making it perfect for a vacation. Una provided attentive and thoughtful service during my stay. I'll definitely choose Xin Yu again when I return to Hangzhou.

Environment: The environment is really superb. I booked a water villa, and the hotel upgraded me to a deluxe water villa, which had a better location and was closer to the hotel lobby. The balcony in the room overlooked the lake, and you could feed fish and ducklings from the balcony railing. There were so many koi in the hotel, some even bigger than the ducks, which was really fun. Service: Every staff member I encountered was super nice. When my child mentioned that the snacks delivered to the room were delicious, they specially sent two extra portions that afternoon. When I checked out, they even prepared some for me to take away, which was incredibly touching! Thumbs up, thumbs up! Food: The breakfast area isn't big, but it's delicious! There's a wide variety of bread, and both Chinese and Western breakfast options are very rich. Even if you go to eat after 9 am, there's no long queue; it's quiet with fewer people. We had dinner at the Baiyun Restaurant, which was also very good, costing a little over 200 yuan per person, which was quite reasonable. Facilities: The hotel is indeed not new anymore, as it has been open for a long time, but it's very well maintained. And this Chinese style just looks ancient and elegant, which I personally really like. Rowboat: Three of us took the hotel's rowboat. It was 400 yuan for an hour to charter the boat, which is indeed a bit more expensive than outside, but the advantage is no queues, no exposure to the sun, and there wasn't a second boat on the outer lake waterway, so we had a private secret retreat all to ourselves – so comfortable!

Mercure Hotel (Hangzhou West Lake)

Stepping onto the balcony, West Lake was literally three steps away – not a distant view framed by a window, but the water almost lapping at my feet. Morning mist glided across the surface, the outline of Broken Bridge faintly visible behind a thin veil, and a couple of early-bird mandarins划开了 the mirror-like surface, their ripples spreading right up to my eyelids. For these four days, I barely left the lake. Every morning, I’d jog along the lakeside promenade, from Park No. 1 to Park No. 6, watching old people practice Tai Chi by the water, squirrels scampering up plane trees. The fountains hadn't started their show, and the water was as still as an uncarved jade. When I got tired, I’d sit on a bench and watch the sun inch its way up from behind Gem Mountain, stretching Baochu Pagoda’s shadow long before dissolving it into the lake – that 'shimmering lake light' they talk about really was a pool of flowing gold foil. In the evenings, I couldn't bear to go back to my room. As the sunset dipped behind Leifeng Pagoda, the entire lake would blaze orange, and the silhouettes of pleasure boats glided by like a living Song Dynasty painting. The hardware was impeccable. The bathtub faced the lake, and with the lights off while bathing, the window revealed a lake full of lights, the distant city skyline twinkling like scattered diamonds. But what truly made me want to stay were those small, warm touches: the turndown service bringing warm osmanthus lotus root starch, with a handwritten card saying, 'The moonlight is beautiful tonight'; returning to find my sun umbrella carefully rolled up and leaning by the door; the front desk girl remembering I loved Longjing tea, asking every morning before I left, 'Shall I brew it for you and leave it in your room today, or would you prefer it when you return?' It rained on the last night. I deliberately left the balcony door open, letting the fine drizzle drift in, filling the air with the scent of lake water and fresh grass. Lying in bed, listening to the rain patter on the lotus leaves, I suddenly recalled Zhang Dai’s 'Watching Snow from the Mid-Lake Pavilion' – though the season was wrong, that ethereal feeling of 'sky and clouds and mountains and water, all white as one' (天与云与山与水,上下一白), I now fully understood it. Upon checkout, the front desk handed me a kraft paper bag containing a small jar of Longjing tea and a Polaroid photo – a picture of my back as I sat on the balcony gazing at the lake on my first day. On the back of the photo was written: 'West Lake awaits your return.' My eyes welled up at that moment. There are many good hotels, but only this one can make a lake truly settle into your heart.

Facilities: Staying on the 23rd floor, the view was expansive and incredibly refreshing. The breakfast at the revolving restaurant on the 34th floor was really nice; my child was so excited, running to the window to watch the river while eating! Hygiene: Spotless, just how I like it. Environment: Overlooking the Qiantang River, and the surrounding park was perfect for a leisurely stroll – very neat and quiet.

The environment here is fantastic! The lobby has books, a guzheng (Chinese zither), and calligraphy brushes, plus two adorable parrots 🦜. I'm very satisfied with this hotel; the rooms are spotless, and the front desk staff are wonderful. It's also very convenient for getting around. To go to West Lake, you just need to take the subway to Xiuxi Road Station. I really love it and will definitely stay here again next time I'm in Hangzhou.

I did some research online before checking in, and the reviews were mixed, so I was a bit nervous. As soon as I arrived, a staff member helped me with my luggage. The hotel isn't large, but the service was excellent, not as exaggerated as some online reviews suggested. For our holiday trip, the experience was pretty good. We originally booked for three days and two nights, but all the water activities we'd planned were canceled due to a typhoon. I thought we wouldn't be able to get a refund for the second night, but I asked the front desk just in case, and they processed the checkout very quickly. I also left some items behind in my haste, and the hotel even helped me courier them. From check-in to check-out and the dining, especially the sunset over the pool on the first night, I think it was quite worthwhile.

The hotel's design is beautiful, and the environment is lovely, with several century-old trees and a rooftop. The service was also excellent; they upgraded our room for free and helped with luggage to and from the parking lot. Parking was very convenient, right at the hotel entrance. Breakfast was semi-buffet style, with many Cantonese dim sum dishes, which was very special. However, the facilities are a bit old. Perhaps due to the May Day holiday and the changing seasons, the outdoor air conditioning unit wasn't on. The room was stuffy and hot during the day but freezing at night. The biggest drawback was that the sofa and bed in our upgraded room had bed bugs! I got bitten over a dozen times in one night, and the bites haven't gone away after several days. It was terrifying! This is the first time I've encountered a hotel with bed bugs; it was truly terrible luck. I just hope I didn't bring any home with me.

This hotel is conveniently located in the city center, right next to Plaza 66. The rooms are clean and tidy, and the breakfast is rich and delicious. The service is excellent, especially Sweet Donut who proactively helped get an extra breakfast for the child. Because of the typhoon, we extended our stay with Sweet Donut's help, and they even offered a discount [rose emoji].

Front desk staff, Ms. Wang Xiao, kindly upgraded my mother's room for free. The room was spacious and bright, with a bathtub for a relaxing soak. The environment was quiet, ensuring a great night's rest. Breakfast was plentiful, and they even gave us a souvenir upon check-out. I'll definitely recommend this place to my friends and family when they visit Hangzhou.
