My business trip stay at Hufu Inn exceeded my expectations. The room was incredibly spacious, with a solid wood desk perfect for working. The bedding had visible cotton seeds, felt healthy, soft, and comfortable, washing away all the fatigue from work. What impressed me most was the hotel's public areas and service. While relaxing in the cafe with lush greenery outside the window, the staff thoughtfully brought me hot tea. There were complimentary fruits and snacks available, and they even helped me print and bind my documents. The Hangzhou cuisine in the restaurant was also delicious. The concierge recommended Longjing shrimp, which was perfect for one person, and even gave me a complimentary Dongpo pork. I'll definitely consider staying here again.

This stay exceeded my expectations. The room decor was simple yet stylish, with carefully chosen lighting and furnishings. The room was clean, tidy, and odorless. The environment was very quiet, ensuring a great night's sleep. The staff were gentle and polite, and the location was convenient for getting around. The overall atmosphere felt like a home away from home. I was very satisfied with this stay. The front desk staff provided excellent, warm, and cheerful service, and the breakfast was plentiful. I'll definitely be staying here again.

Finally checked into the Banyan Tree Hangzhou Xixi, which I've been longing to visit, and it was a perfect experience. Tucked away in the Xixi Wetland, with white walls and dark tiled roofs by the water, every step offers a new beautiful view, creating a full-on, tranquil, Zen-like Chinese atmosphere. The room was spacious and elegant, the bedding soft and comfortable, and a soak in the large bathtub was incredibly relaxing. The toiletries were high quality. The staff were polite and discreet, providing thoughtful service without being intrusive. Breakfast was exquisite and delicious. It's a peaceful oasis amidst the hustle and bustle, offering a true getaway vibe. It's my top choice for a vacation in Hangzhou, and I'll definitely be back.

The morning mist over the Qiantang River hadn't fully dispersed, yet West Lake was already awake. On the Su Causeway, willow branches dipped into the water, painting calligraphy with the shimmering light. The stone railing of Broken Bridge still glistened with dew, and the legend of Lady White Snake walking with an umbrella had taken root in the moss. Oared boats glided across the silken water, their paddles startling egrets. The sunlight shaken from their wingtips fell perfectly into the tea farmer's bamboo basket, filled with freshly picked Longjing tea. The tender buds, curled like sparrow's tongues, would unfurl into the entire spring of Jiangnan with a single brew of hot water. The aroma of cong bao hui (scallion pancakes) wafted from the alleyway stall, the iron griddle sizzling as it pressed the dough, the sweet bean paste embracing the mornings and evenings of old Hangzhou. Tourists held up their phones to photograph Leifeng Pagoda, its copper bells chiming in the wind, as if softly asking: 'Do you hear it? Hear the passage of time slowly flowing over the stone bridges, flowing through a thousand years, in this city made of water?'

The hotel is conveniently located with bus stops nearby, making it easy to get around. The room wasn't very spacious but had all the necessary amenities. On our first morning, the breakfast selection was very limited because a large group of students on a spring outing had checked in, and the hotel didn't replenish the food in a timely manner, which was a poor experience. Things were better the second day. A nice touch is that the hotel offers late-night snacks in the lobby.

My stay at voco Shimao Sunshine Lake Resort Qiandao Lake was absolutely perfect! The hotel is situated on a peninsula, offering an elegant and tranquil environment. Our room was spotlessly clean, and the attention to hygiene details was impeccable. The direct, first-line lake view of Qiandao Lake is breathtaking – the water and sky merge into one, creating an expansive and unbeatable vista. There are amazing viewing spots everywhere. A special shout-out to the hotel's innovative travel photography service. The photographer was incredibly professional, excellent at finding the right angles and guiding poses. They even managed to capture stunning, high-quality shots against the light, preserving so many wonderful moments. All the staff were incredibly attentive and thoughtful, treating guests with warmth and courtesy. The entire experience was fantastic. This is definitely my top choice for a vacation in Qiandao Lake, highly recommended!

Facilities: Staying on the 23rd floor, the view was expansive and incredibly refreshing. The breakfast at the revolving restaurant on the 34th floor was really nice; my child was so excited, running to the window to watch the river while eating! Hygiene: Spotless, just how I like it. Environment: Overlooking the Qiantang River, and the surrounding park was perfect for a leisurely stroll – very neat and quiet.

The hotel's design is beautiful, and the environment is lovely, with several century-old trees and a rooftop. The service was also excellent; they upgraded our room for free and helped with luggage to and from the parking lot. Parking was very convenient, right at the hotel entrance. Breakfast was semi-buffet style, with many Cantonese dim sum dishes, which was very special. However, the facilities are a bit old. Perhaps due to the May Day holiday and the changing seasons, the outdoor air conditioning unit wasn't on. The room was stuffy and hot during the day but freezing at night. The biggest drawback was that the sofa and bed in our upgraded room had bed bugs! I got bitten over a dozen times in one night, and the bites haven't gone away after several days. It was terrifying! This is the first time I've encountered a hotel with bed bugs; it was truly terrible luck. I just hope I didn't bring any home with me.

Junting Hotel has always been my top choice when traveling, and this time in Hangzhou, I chose it again. It's really convenient, close to Hangzhou East Railway Station, surrounded by many shopping malls, and getting to West Lake is a breeze. The staff, especially 'Sweet Donut' (Tian Tian Quan), provided excellent service. This trip was with my whole family, and to accommodate us on the same floor, they upgraded our rooms for free. Plus, booking a king room came with complimentary crayfish and beer, and the twin room included a complimentary meal for two. It was such a great deal! All the other hotel staff were also very polite, and my family was very satisfied with their stay. I'll definitely choose Junting again next time I'm in Hangzhou.

Our stay at Landison Longjing Resort Hangzhou was so memorable and absolutely magnificent that highlights remain sharp, vivid, and immensely uplifting. As tea lovers, it would have been lovely enough to be back in deciduous forests with bursting red maples and bright yellow Ginko trees accentuating autumn colors surrounding the beautifully manicured Longjing (Dragon Well) tea plantations that rest quietly within the hills of the peaceful landscape so very close to the resort—next to and just across the street, in fact! However, our trip’s joys skyrocketed with our stay at the Landison. The staff was totally fantastic! Exceptional service in every way. Working with a phone translator Tracy, Brandy, Wen Yi (I hope his name is spelled correctly!), and Chris provided patient, attentive, and thorough care, concern, and heartwarming attention as they fully considered and answered our many daily questions on where to go, what to do, how to get there and back. (We were thrilled to use the excellent public transportation in and around Hangzhou. The hotel is just meters from the bus stop of two main lines. These buses provided easy connections to other main lines linking us to much of the rest of the city) Staff also guided us where to buy excellent tea, which turned out to be right there at the hotel, as well as from other lovely teashops nearby! Landison’s breakfast menu, included in our booking, remained the same throughout our stay and never disappointed. Every day we enjoyed a large selection of beautiful, delicious food that included fresh fruit, vegetables, egg dishes of differing styles, rice, dim sum, pastries, and our go-to each day: a piping hot bowl of noodles, prepared to order by the chef standing behind the varied selection of noodles and fixings! There was so much fresh, delicious, interesting, vegetarian cuisine we can’t account for the entire extensive buffet. The dining staff was totally incredible with their refined, careful, complete attention. Dining Room Manager Xu became our dear, memorable friend, offering us sweet, caring personal attention and comfort throughout our visit. We couldn’t help feeling disappointed when we didn’t see her the day before we were to leave. When we returned to the hotel for the evening and saw her through a dining room window, we popped into the area to say hello and a magical connection manifested that only world travel can provide, when the distance between two vastly different cultures disappears under the glow of human kindness, warmth, and connection. She provided such outstanding delight for us that our hearts hurt when we had to say goodbye to her. When she translated on her mobile phone, “looking forward to seeing you again,” we smiled broadly and added a very hopeful nod in agreement. Extra lovely perks included nightly delivery of a delicate, nourishing white mushroom soup to keep us warm and help us sleep, a specialty of the establishment. It was tasty and nurturing every day! The housekeeping staff was amiable and friendly, mutually acknowledging and appreciating the human relationship!  In addition, the parking area staff offered cheerful, welcoming, and happy engagement with us throughout our stay. Our extraordinary stay at the Landison is the kind of experience that highlights the vast benefits of world travel where the barriers of worldly concerns and tensions can fade away or even disappear into the significant and transformative mix and engagement with a time and place different from where we come from or know habitually. Where one realizes that, although time and place may differ considerably and provide many positive catalysts for meaningful change, the human heart and mind are inextricably linked together by way of mutual desires for happiness, well-being, safety, expression, and connection, however that may unfold in its immeasurable arrangements. Thank you very much, Landison Longjing Resort Hangzhou, for helping to create an amazing lifetime memory.
