"I'm not sure why this hotel gets so many recommendations. In terms of room size and cleanliness, it was the most disappointing hotel of our trip! First, I wouldn't recommend the balcony room. It's tiny, and all you get is a balcony that overlooks a dirty, messy, enclosed alleyway, offering no view whatsoever. Second, the room truly is small. If you're traveling with two 28-inch suitcases, opening them up is a challenge. You might be able to fit one 28-inch suitcase by the window, but the other 24-inch one would have to stay by the door. And you'd have to close them up every time you wanted to open the door to enter or exit. Third, the bathroom drain had a really strong unpleasant smell, especially after being closed up all night. Even running the fan didn't help; it would just switch off after a short while. The hotel is quite new, and the overall service attitude was impeccable. However, breakfast was very basic, offering just coffee and tea with very limited choices – hardly any fruit or bread! It definitely doesn't compare to another hotel we stayed at for the same price. Also, the elevator doesn't go directly to your floor. It stops halfway between floors, so you have to climb a half-flight of stairs with your luggage."

"everything was good, the room was clean and quite. the staff members were very kind and helpful, I booked 2 tours with them one for the Pyramids and the other one for the white and black dessert, and both tours were extremely good specially the tour guide Ali."

"I was truly impressed with this hotel. Firstly, the room's cleanliness was impeccable, exactly as shown in the pictures, which was very reassuring. The bathroom was also spotless, with a consistent hot water supply and excellent water pressure, making for a very comfortable shower. The mattress and linens were clean and high-quality, ensuring a great night's sleep. The hotel's location is incredibly convenient, with plenty of transport options and services nearby. There's valet parking right at the entrance, and the staff are very friendly. The reception was professional and check-in was quick. The hotel's decor is beautiful, offering a luxurious yet welcoming feel. The entrance looks high-end, and the security is excellent, making for a very safe and comfortable stay. Breakfast was also good, with a wide variety of delicious options to suit different preferences. Most importantly, the price was very reasonable compared to hotels of a similar standard, offering great value for money. Overall, this hotel excels in service, quality, and comfort. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be returning!"

"Historic bank on the outside, sophisticated boutique hotel on the inside, a brilliant merge! Despite its location being right in the bustling heart of Cairo, with many cafes & shops all around, the building is tucked into a little street with less traffic, so the noise levels are lower. The hotel itself was unassuming from the outside (there was no signage that said ”Saint J Hotel”), but we were warmly greeted by the friendly hotel staff. The lobby was simple but had a lovely, refreshing scent - a nice touch. The rooms were spacious, beautifully-designed & well-equipped with everything we needed & more. Our mother had so much fun cooking a bit of breakfast for the family daily. The beds were so comfortable. The bathrooms were such a delight - super strong rain shower, it was heavenly! There was a washer (with laundry detergent provided) in each room too, which was very handy. Just two things that needs to be improved: 1. Install sheer curtains behind the thick curtains so that guests can let natural light in without worrying about privacy 2. Install hooks or towel bars in the bathroom for guests to hang towels All in all, we were so happy we stayed here!"

"It’s a small boutique hotel, right on the square in downtown Cairo. At night the traffic can get pretty loud if you get a balcony room (right above the roundabout), but the balcony door is double layered so it provides pretty good noise coverage. It is on the 4th floor of the building that’s labeled “Tulip Hotel”. Convenient place. Very nice receptionist and people. Complimentary breakfast from 8am-12. It is made for you when you’re ready. Old but very big rooms. 24hour service. Saed, the manager of the hotel is very nice. Eman, the other receptionist always has the brightest smile in the morning when she takes my breakfast order. Will 10/10 stay again"

"I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The location is excellent — close to the main attractions and easy to reach everything I needed. The Egyptian breakfast was delicious and a wonderful way to start the day. The staff were very friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. The rooms were clean and comfortable, which made it a perfect choice for solo travelers. I also appreciated the overall safety and calm atmosphere in the hotel. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a convenient, clean, and budget-friendly stay in the city!"

"The absolutely spectacular view of the pyramids from the rooftop was the highlight. The air conditioning worked great, allowing us to fully relax and get a good rest. All the hotel staff were incredibly kind and helpful. There were also shops nearby selling snacks and drinks, and the people working there were all very friendly as well. This was a stark contrast to the hotels in Luxor; they really ought to take a page out of this hotel's book!"

"This is supposed to be a high-end hotel, yet the kettle in my room was broken upon check-in. The breakfast spread was ample, but the cold water served by the waitress in a glass cup tasted distinctly like tap water, and I couldn't tell if it was even mineral water. I'd really suggest the hotel management try a sip of the cold water served by the waitstaff, then a sip of tap water in a guest room, and finally a sip of actual mineral water. Even a three-star hotel shouldn't have such issues."

"The location is excellent, with a pyramid-view room that boasts large windows, providing great ventilation and natural light. There were no strange odors in the room, and the shower had plenty of water pressure. The restaurant with a view is also a plus; you can even go to the terrace to take photos even if you're not dining there. The only downside is that the room faces the street, so there's car noise early in the morning and late at night, which might disturb light sleepers. However, I was fine with it; the location and view were more important to me."

"The hotel has a great location, with a Majia noodle restaurant nearby, which is a lifesaver for Chinese travelers craving a taste of home. The room was clean and tidy, and the breakfast was plentiful, with individual portions that were more than enough. The room had amenities like a hairdryer and a fridge. However, the fridge was a bit noisy at night, which slightly disturbed my sleep. All the staff were very friendly."
