Hotels in Khaosan Road, Bangkok

Excellent location, lovely ”village” are near kohsan road, which is just 3 minute walk away but far enough away that you dont hear it and not in the main drag of it. Lovely pools, staff were amazing and when we had to lengthen our stay due to flight issues they were more than accommodating by keeping us in the same room so we didn't have to move all our stuff around. My only quam is no kettle in the room and TV very dated with only English news channels. But overall we would stay there again.

Good stay and good value. Location is great. Many restaurants, bars, massage salons and shop just outside the hotel. 1 thing can be a downside and that is the street noise in the evening time! Bars outside produce a lot of noise which can cause disturbance if you want to sleep. Staff is extremely friendly and very helpful.

The hotel is in the busiest part of Khao San Road, so it's convenient for getting everywhere. The only downside is that it can get noisy at night since it's close to the bar street, but you get used to it. The room was cleaned daily. Overall, it was a good stay.

Amenities: No toothpaste or toothbrushes provided, but towels and free water were available. Cleanliness: There were still hairs on the comforter that hadn't been cleaned off, and the bedsheet had a cigarette burn hole. Otherwise, it was okay. Environment: It's near a night market with lots of food options, but prices are a bit on the high side. There's a 7-Eleven right across the street. Service: Decent, daily room cleaning was provided, and the front desk staff spoke a little Chinese.

The hotel's location is fantastic, but the downside is how incredibly noisy it is. The music was blasting, and our room faced the street. It would be great if you're planning to party all night. The hotel staff were very welcoming; someone was even on duty when we arrived in the middle of the night.

Lovely hotel, but there is massive construction happening on the street in front of the building. If you get a room at the back of the hotel, you won't hear it, but in other parts of the hotel, you can hear the jack hammers inside. It ruins the ambience and enjoyability of the area when there is scaffolding in front of the building and you can only access it by construction walkways, which also make it difficult to walk outside and cross roads. Also, the view from our room was of an air conditioning unit so the outlook was bad, back and front of the building. In terms of tourism, the location is great if your primary focus is temples, but if you want more excitement like shopping, bars and restaurants, I would recommend staying in a different area as it is fairly quiet around the hotel. We wound up taking taxis back and forth to other parts of the city for fun. The hotel is lovely, good value and the staff are friendly so no complaints there. We paid for the breakfast, the hot food was predominantly Asian like curries and meats which are a bit heavy in the morning especially in the heat, there was some Western items like French toast and pancakes, but they were dry and not the best. Again, the hotel was lovely - to be fair, the problems were the construction and the area lacked excitement for us - neither of those issues were the fault of the hotel itself.

I had a pleasant stay at Khaosan Palace and would happily recommend it, especially if you want to stay right in the heart of Khaosan Road. The room was spacious enough, comfortable, and cleaned daily. The hot and cold shower worked well, and having an elevator was a big plus. There is also a pool, which was great for cooling down after a long day out. Location-wise, it is not close to the BTS or MRT, but it is very near Phra Arthit Pier, which makes getting around the city easier. The boat is a convenient alternative for exploring temples, riverside areas, and even getting closer to malls, especially if you want to avoid traffic. If you arrive early, the hotel has a storage room where you can leave your luggage until check-in time. The same option is available after check-out, which was very convenient. If you arrive at night, you may need to walk a bit since Khaosan Road is closed to vehicles. During the day and until after noon, taxis or Bolt can usually get close to the hotel. Many reviews mention noise because it is in a party area, and yes, the parties can go on until 4am or even 6am sometimes. That said, I was surprised that it was not that loud in my room. I could hear some sound, but it was very faint, and the hotel even provides earplugs, which was a thoughtful touch. Overall, a good stay with solid amenities and a great location if you plan to explore Khaosan and nearby areas.

The hotel location is excellent — just walking distance from Khaosan Road, which made it very convenient to explore the area. The staff were also very friendly and helpful throughout the stay. Overall, a good experience with a great location and welcoming service.

Price was decent. It was clean enough for what it is. Khaosan road is quite rowdy, so definitely be prepared for that - however the building is relatively well insulated. The room had some weird dusty smell that you can used to after a few minutes. The desk space is quite small, I was anticipating being able to do some work but it's not comfortable. The TV selection was decent - broadcasted content from different parts of the world 🌎.

Excellent hostel! The staff are friendly, and the location is super convenient, with attractions, cafes, and shops all nearby. Check-in is self-service via QR code. The bar staff can assist if the bar is open. Everything is intuitive, and there are helpful prompts at the bar. They keep the place very clean. The common areas are great for relaxing, working, socializing, or eating. In the rooms, there's air conditioning, comfortable beds, and clean linens. The AC power can be adjusted by staff upon request. You store your belongings on open shelves outside the room. Each bed comes with a light, power outlets, and a fan. The shower is a traditional Thai-style bath, a communal space where you mix water in a scoop and pour it over yourself. Towels are provided at the entrance to the shower area. Showers and toilets are located on the floor below. The only kitchen facility is a refrigerator, which is cleaned every Wednesday, so remember to remove your food if you don't want it thrown out. There's Wi-Fi and a pool.
