The service was excellent, and the staff spoke fluent English, interacting with us in a friendly manner throughout our stay. While the hotel facilities are a bit dated, the location is absolutely fantastic, surrounded by all sorts of delicious food and night markets. The breakfast was also very generous, and the dining environment was lovely. I would definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit.

The hotel's location is excellent, right around Kou Shan Road with plenty of attractions nearby. However, this is also its biggest drawback: the noise at night can be severe, to the point where you can feel the walls vibrating, which made it hard to sleep well. On the other hand, the rooms, ambiance, and service were all quite good. I'd recommend it to anyone who isn't bothered by noise! The breakfast was also very good! Overall, it's great value for money!

I didn't expect that my stay here would be good because of the reviews but hey, I'm so glad I stayed here. The rooms are newly renovated. It's right in Khaosan Road so the location is good if you're looking for nearby restos, shops, convenience stores and of course Khaosan Night Market.

The air conditioning is a bit old-fashioned, but everything else is fine. The location is quite ideal, with plenty of local food stalls nearby, a 7-Eleven right outside, and songthaews readily available. The hotel price is very reasonable. I recommend it for families with children and couples. There's an indoor pool, and the opening hours are posted on the door, though I didn't go in – Bangkok is really hot!

The room is clean, good for a day or two. I booked it to walk around and take a ferry. There's a 7-Eleven nearby and everything you need. Good value for money!

I stayed at Pranakorn Heritage Hotel on my departure from Bangkok, and I can honestly say it’s the best hotel I’ve stayed at in Bangkok so far.
The room was excellent – very clean, comfortable, and beautifully designed. Everything felt high quality and well maintained. After a long trip, it was exactly what I needed.
The hotel also has a great swimming pool with a pool bar, which adds a really nice touch to the whole experience. It’s perfect for relaxing after exploring the city.
Breakfast was fantastic – a buffet with a wide and diverse selection of food. Plenty of options, fresh ingredients, and something for everyone.
The location is another big advantage. The hotel is close to all the main attractions and city highlights, making it very convenient to explore Bangkok while still enjoying a calm and comfortable stay.
But what truly made the difference was the staff. They were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. You can really feel that they care about their guests.
I only have the best things to say about this hotel. Highly recommended, and I will definitely stay here again on my next visit to Bangkok.

I can recommend this hotel. The location is right at the busy area, just step outside and there‘s a lot of food, bars and shops. You can also reach the attractions of old town by foot which is great. Unfortunately there is no metro or sky train station nearby so you have to get a taxi or another ride to go to the city center or other places further away. The cash deposit for the key is a bit inconvenient, especially as we had a morning flight and no way to spend that spare cash sensibly.

Staff are very accommodating. They response so fast to my inquiries and did my requests. They allow us to leave our luggage at the lobby and it’s very safe. They also allow us to stay at the common area and take a shower even after our check-out time. There is also a pharmacy at the lobby. The place is very convenient and walking distance to Phra Arthit Pier and Khaosan Road.

I had a pleasant stay at Khaosan Palace and would happily recommend it, especially if you want to stay right in the heart of Khaosan Road.
The room was spacious enough, comfortable, and cleaned daily. The hot and cold shower worked well, and having an elevator was a big plus. There is also a pool, which was great for cooling down after a long day out.
Location-wise, it is not close to the BTS or MRT, but it is very near Phra Arthit Pier, which makes getting around the city easier. The boat is a convenient alternative for exploring temples, riverside areas, and even getting closer to malls, especially if you want to avoid traffic.
If you arrive early, the hotel has a storage room where you can leave your luggage until check-in time. The same option is available after check-out, which was very convenient. If you arrive at night, you may need to walk a bit since Khaosan Road is closed to vehicles. During the day and until after noon, taxis or Bolt can usually get close to the hotel.
Many reviews mention noise because it is in a party area, and yes, the parties can go on until 4am or even 6am sometimes. That said, I was surprised that it was not that loud in my room. I could hear some sound, but it was very faint, and the hotel even provides earplugs, which was a thoughtful touch.
Overall, a good stay with solid amenities and a great location if you plan to explore Khaosan and nearby areas.

Lovely hotel, but there is massive construction happening on the street in front of the building. If you get a room at the back of the hotel, you won't hear it, but in other parts of the hotel, you can hear the jack hammers inside. It ruins the ambience and enjoyability of the area when there is scaffolding in front of the building and you can only access it by construction walkways, which also make it difficult to walk outside and cross roads. Also, the view from our room was of an air conditioning unit so the outlook was bad, back and front of the building. In terms of tourism, the location is great if your primary focus is temples, but if you want more excitement like shopping, bars and restaurants, I would recommend staying in a different area as it is fairly quiet around the hotel. We wound up taking taxis back and forth to other parts of the city for fun. The hotel is lovely, good value and the staff are friendly so no complaints there. We paid for the breakfast, the hot food was predominantly Asian like curries and meats which are a bit heavy in the morning especially in the heat, there was some Western items like French toast and pancakes, but they were dry and not the best. Again, the hotel was lovely - to be fair, the problems were the construction and the area lacked excitement for us - neither of those issues were the fault of the hotel itself.

AAAAzhuanyehanguopaocaipifashangEase of check-in: Self-check-in was a breeze. Right after payment, I received a message with the check-in code and bed number. Everything was clearly explained and very convenient.
Safety: Felt very safe.
Facilities: The hostel has 4 floors. The first floor is the lobby, and floors 2, 3, and 4 each have restrooms and showers, which was super convenient as I never had to wait. There's no elevator, which might be a bit inconvenient if you have a suitcase, but most hostels don't have them, and generally, people travel with backpacks anyway, so it wasn't an issue for me.
Cleanliness: Spotless! The bed was large, and a small towel was provided.
Environment: Very good and quiet. I didn't hear any motorcycle noise at night, so I slept very comfortably. The air conditioning worked well, was stable, and not loud!
Location: It's about a 10-15 minute walk to Chinatown and a very convenient 6-7 minute walk to the MRT station! Excellent, highly recommended! If you're visiting Bangkok's Old Town, I recommend staying here.

GGuest UserBeautiful homestay in an old thai house owned by a thai family. The guest is the kindest and super helpful. I had a private room and it was very cozy. Being a traditional wooden house of course there is not much insulation, so you can hear others' steps or sneeze. Not much of a problem for me anyway. Breakfast was delicious, everyday we had a different fullfilling meal made of fruit, rice with egg and meat or thai soup. Location is close to the old Bangkok area, a bit of walking to the metro station but you can grab easily. Keep in mind it is located in a very narrow street in proximity of the canal, hence it can look a bit sketchy at first sight. Note, I'm a solo female traveller and had absolutely no issue and never felt in danger, the place is populated by locals living in the neighbourhood and plenty of cute cats!

GGuest UserPleasant stay here for 2 nights, staff were great and helpful. The room was clean and tidy, our only gripe was not a single English channel on the tv.
The location is very good for the main sights and for eating too at local places, even the Khao San road is only 5 min walk away.

OOnWBasic, but it's my second time choosing this place. The location is excellent, and it's quiet. There's a nice small green area. Your window might overlook... other windows. The hot water is plentiful, even without the heater on full power. It does get a bit stuffy with just a fan and no AC, but for a private room in this location, it's budget-friendly. In the common area, there's a fridge, kettle, and microwave – very convenient! This particular room could really use some hooks or hangers for clothes, but it's not a deal-breaker. Just remember to bring your own shampoo and soap from home (or your previous hotel). It's super easy to get to and from the airport using the S1 bus; the stop is very close!

VVictoriaI liked the hostel, very clean and comfortable. The air conditioner works great! The staff is very friendly and speaks good English! The only negative is that the common area (kitchen) is not at all equipped for use, there is no kettle, etc.
IMPORTANT!! There is a shared shower for all accommodation options!

LLennart HagenVery beautiful old-style house and rooms, located right by the river in a small, quiet alley. The view from the balcony is stunning. However, the bed was a bit hard, and the shower head was positioned quite low – I’m 177 cm tall, and it was only at shoulder/chest height.
The restaurant is rather pricey, with average food and portion sizes, so I wouldn’t recommend eating there. Just a two-minute walk to the right of the hotel, directly on the riverside, there’s a decent alternative restaurant worth trying.
Still, I would happily come back for another stay.
