Hotels in Sukhumvit, Bangkok

The hotel was not quite what I was expecting. The location is alright, a little far away from the Grand Palace. Roughly about a 40 minute drive via taxi. The hotel rooms are too noisy as there is a door that leads to the room next door which allows a lot of noise to come through. The hotel rooms do not have a typical door as one would expect. The door is a sliding door which doesn’t feel private. The air conditioning unit is also very noisy even on the lowest fan speed. The breakfast is fine. Your choices are eggs, chicken, noodles, fruit, cereal, toast and coffee.

Excellent BTS Access: The hotel is directly connected to the Phra Khanong BTS station via a walkway. This is an absolute game-changer in Bangkok's traffic. Getting to Sukhumvit, Siam, or Silom was incredibly easy and cheap. Vibrant and Fun Design: True to the IBIS Styles brand, the hotel is bursting with color and quirky, playful artwork. It's not a bland, boring box – it has personality, which makes for a cheerful and memorable stay. Surprisingly Good Breakfast: The included breakfast had a great variety for a hotel in this category. There was a mix of Western (eggs, sausages, pastries) and Thai options, along with a good coffee machine. It was perfect for fueling up before a day of exploration. Great Value: For the price point, the combination of location, design, and included breakfast is very hard to beat. You get a lot more character andconvenience than at other budget chains. The great view and the bar near swimming pool make us chill. Helpful and Friendly Staff : The front desk staff were always smiling and efficient.

The room is spacious but has a weird smell bathroom glass is semi transparent, we can see whatever happening inside It’s very inconvenient and weird Staff are polite but they didn’t inform us there’s a shuttle bus service to BTS station (which is only available once in every hour) The hotel is too far away from the BTS station, walking distance is 15min

As always another fantastic stay at the Sheraton Grande...it is the best hotel in Bangkok...the staff are the hotels greatest asset providing excellent service and always with a smile. They treated us like their family!!. We dined at the Basil and after complimenting the quality of the food the chef came out to chat with us...what an experience. 🥰

This hotel came highly recommended by a friend, and it truly offers excellent value for money. They provide a convenient shuttle service to the city center shopping mall and the Skytrain station near Terminal 1. The rooms are also very well-equipped, featuring a washing machine and a large refrigerator, and even facilities for cooking your own meals – though we opted to dine out during our stay. I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit.

I was impressed with this brand-new hotel, which boasts an excellent location just opposite Emsphere, offering an abundance of delightful dining options within walking distance. However, I encountered an issue with the hot water supply in the bathroom shower and bathtub. The water lever needed to be turned to the blue indicator in order to obtain hot water, and vice versa — an unintuitive setup that no guest would reasonably expect. I reported the matter to the front desk around 1 p.m., but upon returning past midnight, the problem had not been resolved. A plumber was subsequently dispatched and confirmed that the lever had to be turned to the blue side for hot water. Despite his efforts over the next 15 minutes, the issue remained unresolved. I trust this is a minor teething problem that will soon be addressed, as the hotel otherwise shows great promise.

Happy to stay here again—staff are friendly and the location is super convenient. The hotel shows its age, but overall maintenance is impressive. However, the mattress felt quite worn and had noticeable sagging, which affected sleep quality. Hope the hotel considers upgrading it soon to enhance guest comfort.

Ibis Sukhumvit 24 is in a very convenient location, just steps from BTS Phrom Phong and close to the major malls, which made getting around Bangkok very easy. The room itself was decent and had all the basics for a comfortable stay. On arrival, the bed sheets looked a little wrinkled, which made the first impression less tidy, though they were clean. I also noticed a few strands of hair on the bathroom wall when I first checked in, and even though housekeeping came daily, it remained there throughout my stay. A bit more attention to detail during cleaning would really improve the experience. The walls felt quite thin, and the heavy doors tend to slam shut, so noise from other guests and conversations in nearby rooms could sometimes be heard. Overall, it’s a practical choice in a great location, with some room for improvement on housekeeping detail and soundproofing.
