[Review] Twenty Residence Don Mueang: Affordable Stay, Golden Location with Tons of Food, Close to the Airport! ✈️🍲 If you're planning to fly in or out of Don Mueang Airport and looking for an affordable, clean place to stay, and most importantly, somewhere with ”easy access to food,” then look no further! This time, we stayed at Twenty Residence and were so impressed that we've decided to come back here again next time we fly from Don Mueang! 😉 Why we love this place? 👇 1. Location is superb! Close to Don Mueang Airport ✈️ Super convenient for those with early flights or late arrivals. No need to rush, no worries about traffic. Plus, the area around the hotel is lively and not isolated. 2. A paradise for food lovers! 😋🍲 The absolute highlight that won us over is the ”abundance of delicious food” around the hotel. It's a hub of various restaurants. Just a short walk and you'll find amazing eateries. 🌟 Let me show you some of the must-try dishes we had near the accommodation (check out the pics!) 🍽️ Start your main meal with a juicy Hamburger Steak topped with melted cheese and rich sauce, served with fries and salad (image_18.png). I used this hotel for a few hours during my transit, going back and forth. Currently, it's undergoing renovations, so it's not directly connected to the airport. You have to take a shuttle bus, but the bus takes a while to arrive. If you tell the staff at the Amari Hotel counter in the airport that you'd like to walk, they'll give you directions. You'll get to the hotel faster than taking the bus, so I recommend it if you only have carry-on luggage. The room was impeccably clean, there's absolutely nothing to complain about.

Service: They charge you for early check-in before 1 PM. Facilities: All facilities are good, and the pool is a saltwater pool. Environment: There aren't many food options nearby, just a small market, but it's not easy to find food there. Walking to the airport is a bit inconvenient; there's a small bridge with heavy traffic and no pedestrian path. If you have a lot of luggage, I recommend taking a taxi. Taking a taxi to the airport for an early flight can also lead to some traffic jams.

The room was good and clean, but the soundproofing was terrible. Neighbors came in at 1 AM and started laughing loudly. At 6 AM, the cleaner arrived. I woke up to the sound of her rustling bags 🙈 I also couldn't figure out how to contact the front desk. There were no contact details in the room; I would have had to go downstairs and to another building. But if you're not sensitive to noise, I highly recommend it! Everything is new, and the pillows are comfortable 🥰

The hotel is within walking distance of Don Mueang Airport. We walked there with our 5-year-old child in 15-20 minutes. The service is excellent, they help with luggage. Check-in was fast. We stayed in block B; admittedly, the room itself was small, but since we only stayed one night, it didn't matter to us. The pool on the 6th floor is great and open until midnight. We also had dinner there, which was surprisingly inexpensive and delicious. Breakfast is a buffet, with a small selection of dishes, but enough to fill you up. In the morning, we booked a transfer to the airport for 40 baht per adult, and the child was free. Everything was quick and well-organized. I recommend this hotel for a good rest before your next flight.

Stayed here recently and it exceeded expectations. The location is the real win: the mall is a short hop away on the bts, and getting to the airport was quick and painless, which made both arrival and departure stress-free. Rooms were clean, comfortable, and quiet. The bed was genuinely good, the shower had solid pressure, and the AC worked without a fight. Staff at the front desk were friendly and efficient — check-in took a couple of minutes, and they were happy to help with directions and local tips.

The lady at the front desk who spoke Chinese was very warm and polite. The hotel is also very close to the airport, so you don't need a taxi at all; you can just use the pedestrian bridge at the intersection. However, the experience was quite poor because the mattress was leather, and sleeping with just a thin sheet on it made it very stuffy and hot. As a result, I spent the entire night adjusting the air conditioning and feeling like my back was on fire! Also, the hotel name couldn't be found on ride-hailing apps. After copying and pasting the detailed address, the navigation led us to a place called ”Don Muang Place Hotel”! Luckily, the driver was very kind and helped us find the correct location for free.

The hotel is really close to the subway station; you can see Koo as soon as you exit. There's a 7-Eleven downstairs, and if you walk a bit further from the hotel, there's a pretty good and affordable street food stall. The only downside is the soundproofing isn't great; if your neighbors are noisy, you can definitely hear it clearly. There are plenty of food options around. If you're going to Impact Arena, this place is definitely worth staying at.

Since my flight home was in the early morning, I chose to stay at this hotel near Don Mueang Airport for my last night in Bangkok. The surrounding area is residential and quiet at night. The room was clean and comfortable. There were convenience stores and restaurants within walking distance, so I didn't experience any inconvenience. Amenities weren't in the room, but I wonder if they would have provided them if I had asked at the front desk.

The accommodation is very close to Impact Arena with a skywalk connection, which is very convenient. The hotel might not be very new because it's always fully booked, so there might be some mold or stains on the floor in certain areas. But overall, it's great. The housekeepers clean every day, and the bed is soft. It's suitable for people coming to concerts.
