another year, another dinner at Craigielaw, 12 rooms booked, 25 for dinner and breakfast, as always we were looked after like Lords and Ladies!! one slight issue with a few meals not being hot enough, but it's been discussed and we are promised it will not happen in 2026 Rooms here are truly fabulous, spotless and immaculate, everything worked as it should see you in 2026

Lovely staff who couldn't do enough for you, they were really helpful and attentive. Clean and comfortable bedroom. Very nice breakfast, we stayed for evening meal too, which was also very nice. Fabulous views from our room. Everyone polite and friendly. Would highly recommend to my friends and family.

Superb value for money. Our room was spotlessly clean and serviced every day. It was great that our towels weren't replaced when we hung them up. I would highly recommend having an evening meal there as both of our choices were delicious.
Great location - we went into Edinburgh three times and used the park and ride at Wallyford which is a 15 minute drive away.
Stunning views from the restaurant.
We shall definitely recommend The Lodge to anyone who wants to stay in the area.

Courteous and helpful staff. Particular mention for Josh who, amongst other helpful actions, provided Cullen Skink for my wife when it wasn't even on the menu! Very friendly staff all round, made us feel welcome.

We’ve stayed here many times when visiting family locally. Would not consider anywhere in the area. Special mention to Marion in the dining area.
