There was maintenance work being done. Wish we had known the condition of the property before booking. We paid too much for the room considering the condition. The breakfast was terrible.

I liked the location. The staff when we checked in. I did not like the old small tv that you had to get out of bed to change the channel. The old spring mattress, the toilet quit running water in the night and I had to fill a trash can with water to fill the tank to flush. There was a stange pungent smell (not coming from the toilet) that would occassionally fill the room. If I had paid $25 for the room, I would have been dissappointed. The sad part was it was my husbands retirement from the military. I wanted a decent hotel for his last night in Abilene. By the way, the reason i did not call the front desk was that it was late and I didnt want to have to bother him to swtch rooms.

Hotel did not appear as photos listed. Not a newer hotel. Room had an unpleasant odor.

Every question I answered was true in heart, I was so pleased I pray that the same kind people are working there. I believe these people deserve a raise. I will continue to go to this hotel as they were helpful with every little or big issue we had . From microwaveing hot water to billing they were excellent to outstanding!!!! The cook for the breakfast was great!! I have NEVER been so pleased. God bless you all !!

Bathroom had only one grab bar, a vertical one near the shower. Not good for folks with knee problems. Getting out of the tub was difficult for me after having knee surgery. Getting up and down on the toilet was even worse. There should be a grab bar on each side. The room was very clean and neat, however.
