Au Calme. Arrivée très tardive...J'ai galéré un bon quart d'heure avec l'écran= ne reconnaissait pas mon nom... puis mon numéro de réservation...en fait l'écran est trop sensible pour certains caractères ou l'inverse...du coup il faut recommencer à chaque fois !!!.. sinon reste de nuit reposante car très calme 👍. La possibilité de pouvoir rester jusqu'à midi est un vrai plus quand on est obligé d'arriver tard ☺️

There is only one '5 star' hotel in Vichy, which is a shame given the town's great history of hospitality. And even this one doesn't deserve to be put in the top category and should be 4 star instead. Prices though are relatively high. The rooms are tired, in particular the bathrooms, and in fact the whole hotel has seen better times. The rooftop pool is small, mostly indoors and in high season was overcrowded. On the positive side, the location is perfect and the restaurant is very nice. When we were there in August a lot of effort was made with an outdoor grill, music and even fireworks. Quality of the food was good, as we service. Overall this probably is still the best place to stay in town, but how wonderful would it be to see a real 5 star hotel being (re)opened in Vichy!

4th and last step of 4 nights (Macon/Nights St Georges/ Choisey/ Belleville sur Allier). The hotel is very old and has a totally inconsistent, not separated from the bathroom, with shower, certainly outside the room but with toilets too close to the shower area. In short, on a 4-step periphery, only Macon's periphery is to be retained.

One small bemol is: the fine wall. The team is nice, the room is clean but since the wall is very fine, you hear everything the neighbor does ... And perhaps he was with a woman **********...
