een wat verouderd hotel op loopafstand van de Corniche. Lekker ontbijt maar helaas kan je in de dichte omgeving niks nuttigen. Er zijn geen cafés, terrassen of restaurants. Alles is take-way en je vindt er veel supermarkten en barbiers. Niet echt een interessante omgeving. Het Meridien hotel ligt op 7 mins lopen. Is luxueus en daar kan je wel iets eten. Maar weet niet of iedereen daar zo maar binnen en buiten kan lopen. Ik deed het, sneaky! Zoals in veel Arabische landen, is de afwerking in de kamers wat onverzorgd. De plinten mee geschilderd, de voegen van de faiences vies en een rokers-kamer. De badkamer accessoires bengelden los aan de muur, het wc-rol apparaat ook kapot. Het ontbijt was echter zeer verzorgd. Veel keuze en zeer vriendelijke bediening. Het rooftop zwembad (30°) was heerlijk. Ik betaalde extra voor een late check-out ivm met een nachtvlucht. Voor één nacht was het ok maar ik zou er toch niet gaan voor een langer verblijf.

When I arrived to do check in, there was no non-smoking room in the hotel as what I observed! When I talked to the reception he said we offer the request but not guarantee. Then the guy offer to downgrade my reservation to a room that are deffernt but non-smoking. In that time, I rejected that and told the guy I will claim that to ******* and he was not care about it. I taught him that was not proffecinal and his colleuge warn him and told him there is a room that what I reserved. After 15 mins talking and 15 mins waiting the room was ready and had a dish of fruit in the room to say we are sorry! Best,
