Unbelievable value for the quality you get. I couldnโ€™t believe when i entered the hostel how nice everything looked. The pool is nice, beds are super comfy and the breakfast is amazing. They even gave me an early check in when i arrived early in the morning. Many thanks for that all staff ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿฝ 10/10

A clean, calm space to come back to after the bustle in Accra. The staff are lovely, the food is very tasty and we met some great people including people we went on to travel with. Our room was clean, comfortable and cool and there was a great shower!

This was my first ever solo trip and I loved this hostel. The staff are all extremely friendly and helpful, especially Destiny at the reception who was extremely helpful. The breakfast is great. All the other guests I met were very friendly and the atmosphere was great all around. Rooms are comfortable. I highly recommend this place.

Wow, what can I say. This place certainly lives up to it's name. I stayed here on a couple of occasions during my time in Ghana. Staff were super friendly and welcoming. Particularly Destiny on reception. I had one of the nicer rooms in the same building as reception. Everything was perfect. They even provide a cafetiere, coffee and kettle. I was very comfortable. The common areas were pleasant with plenty of seating. The pool, a godsend in the heat. Chi chi who runs the bar was a definite highlight. There was a good mix of people hanging out there. Both locals and tourists. Food was tasty but portions were small. And they often do not have the things listed on the menu (despite the menu being on wooden blocks which can be removed. Food was supposed to me served until 21/22 (can't remember exactly) but one one occasion it was no longer available way early, without any warning. Across the street is a bar where I hung out with locals and watch football. There are also a couple of basic places to get food. Somewhere Nice is a true refuge from the hussle and bussle of the city.

Lovely, friendly hostel with great views, food, drinks, and very good fresh bread in the morning! of lots of different types, which was a proper treat. There was also consistent hot water and wifi which was pretty difficult to find elsewhere in ghana, so a real feeling of luxury at a very affordable price :)) highly reccommended.

I stayed in one of the rooms which was clean, had AC, light and running water. Wifi works throughout the whole area. The food was a very positive surprise - the reasonably priced vegetarian avocado sandwiches and wraps were so tasty that I ordered a second round. The breakfast was also nice, if not large it contained bread with several types of jam, several tropical fruits and some smoothie which was sufficient to stay the day. There is a fridge where one can put some food/drinks subject to space and they have clean tap water in the sink. The pool works fine but is somewhat small and more to cool yourself than to swim. Staff is very nice and the area is safe with gated walls. Most balconies are on the street side and there is some sound but not more than one should expect when living in a bigger city. The location is close to the airport and reasonably close to the city center although not on walking distance to the main sights. There are many backpackers and travelers staying at the site making it a good hub if you are interested in connect with others for travel. All in all this seems to be one of the better options for those seeking hostel type stays in Accra.

The AC was not working in the female dorm and after notifying the reception, they kindly offered us a free upgrade to a different room. This kind of service is not found everywhere - but here at 'Somewhere Nice'. And as always, breakfast here is yummi, healthy options are avaialble and the mood is good.

This place is perfect for travellers and short stays on a budget. We had a private room with air con, all perfectly functional. The little pool is a nice refreshing touch for a plunge on a hot day. The inclusive breakfast was simple but delicious especially considering the price. Kitchen staff just cooking cinnamon French toast fresh, pancakes and fresh fruit with Nutella and honey on all the tables. Obviously this is Ghana so you can have eggs any way you like, cooked fresh. The location is not great, many taxis didnโ€™t know where it was and you canโ€™t really walk out of the door and find things. Lovely business, with a good heart. If you need a budget stay, this will do nicely.

Genuinely can't say enough good things about somewhere nice. They handled a really horrible interaction with some guests extremely well, focusing on the victim, and took everything very seriously. Their friendliness exemplified all of the best parts of Ghanaian culture, as well as just human beings. The spaces were beautiful, the other travelers were equally as wonderful to hang out with, and the staff were kind and so easy to connect with. The breakfasts: out of this world. The pool: really nice. Best pillows I had in Ghana. Hope to meet again! Much love.

So my stay at Somewhere nice, was not just nice, it was incredible. From the moment you step away from the busy streets of Accra, you feel at home. The garden is beautiful and truly a place to relax after a long day. Every meal I ate there was delicious, and so were the drinks (hey, Chi Chi!). The staff was really helpful with all our problems and always solved everything for us. So all I can say is medaasi, it was a pleasure to stay with you. I hope to see you again one day.

I came in from Central Region . This was my 1st visit yet will be a go-to as its centrally located and not far from Kwame Nkrumah " Circle ". Used Bolt to couple local locations that were 10 to 28 cedis for 2 people. Very clean! Staff nice and welcoming Breakfast available daily Pool is clean along with the grounds shaded with fruit trees and other foliage Serene vibe, international guest and great lounge spaces to chill in/with Was happy to see chalkboard that listed local things to do -- went dancing at Afrikiko!! Liked my room that offered view of pool on second floor, hot water & AC available in wash room, bed was comfy and recyclable repurposed in room/ grounds; applaud their efforts to minimise waste and uses of Black soap...much more to say yet you get the gest... was a great stay! The place is safe and nice amentities. Very loud and beds are not comfortable. They want you out early at 11 am or you pay. They have a great breakfast and now you can also pay for lunch and dinner. Wifi in rooms is terrible but you can air outside and use it. But you need big spray. The rooms are good size for a hostel. Private rooms Are great.

This place is wonderful - a cool, calm enclave in the centre of Accra. The staff are excellent (shout out to Chinyere and his excellent cocktails!), the rooms are comfortable and clean, and the pool is great. A wonderful place to land and get your bearings. Thank you!
