A big hotel with something for everyone. The animals & waterpark were a big hit with my little girl. She also enjoyed minidisco. The staff worked hard to make sure all guests could have sunbeds in the areas that they wanted whether that be at the waterpark or pool. The pool is near the beach and a really relaxing setting even though a family pool. Our room was near the main square which was actually really nice and central. All areas of the hotels were really clean. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of freshly chopped fruit and options. Food generally good apart from a lack of vegetarian main courses however always an extensive salad bar, soup, breads and sides. Excellent selection of branded drinks and no nasty spirits in the cocktails. We only drink alcohol in the evening and never had to wait long to be served then. During the day bottles of water plentiful and self serve branded soft drinks, or you could get from the bar. We had changeable weather including high winds and storms, staff worked so hard trying to carry on as normal so clients enjoyed themselves whilst taking safety precautions that were needed. Nice to walk on the path from side of hotel to beach and spot the terrapins and otters. The Hotel is set just near Acharavi centre so easy access to shops, restaurants, chemist. Outdoor gym desperately needs new equipment but this did not effect our stay as fitness classes available all day and wonderful yoga and pilates overlooking the beach in the morning. Lastly I was concerned about all the wasp/ mosquito reviews, the wasps yes, there were a lot but they aren't like English ones, much less aggressive. I took mosquito spray and afterbite and got one bite, my daughter got none, and my husband who was very poor at remembering to apply got none either, so don't let them put you off. Thank you all for a lovely stay.

We had a lovely family holiday although the weather was a bit mixed when we went in late October. The accommodation, food and facilities were very good. It was nice that you could just get your own beach towels from the pool area without fussing with deposits and paper slips. And you didn't have to wear a wrist band which was nice. There were plenty of pools and places to relax. The free tennis was great and again the racquets and balls were free and you just had to book a slot. The sea was quite warm and nice and shallow near in with lots of fish. There were not many watersports offered when we went. Just one Pedallo with a slide (which was great fun!) and a couple of paddle boards. The main restaurant was good although if you didn't get there early you normally had to queue for a few minutes. We didn't manage to book a place in the Asian restaurant but we did get a place in the Italian one on the last night. The food was very good but the service was a bit slow with a long wait between each course. The evening entertainment was a bit low key but there was a good singer on for a couple of nights that we enjoyed. There was a short walk along a stream from the tennis court area that went to the beach where we were amazed to see lots of very tame beavers and also some terrapins. There was a bus into Corfu Town from right outside the hotel (cash only) but it did get very busy both there and back with people squashed in like sardines. There were some great views from the bus. Everyone was dropped off at a stop in Corfu Town but we had to get the bus back from the main station which everyone had to try and find to get back! We did enjoy mooching around the very beautiful Corfu town and we did a very reasonably priced trip on a 'pirate' ship. Would recommend.

Top hotel, very clean and super friendly staff. Everyone is all in, so no worries about notes to sign or anything else. Principle of large villas scattered across this gigantic plot of land, which gives the impression that there are not many people there. Central square where we meet in the evening in a chic and relaxed atmosphere, and calm, because it is very large. Top beach with deckchairs always available, even if the small alcoves are taken by storm. But KOSTAS is watching and does not hesitate to take action if he notices any exaggerations, thanks to him for his excellent work. To access the water, a small passage where you have to be careful before swimming with small rocky patches but it's okay. The beach bar is great, fast and cool waitresses, crepes and ice creams all afternoon. And nearby a top restaurant just a stone's throw away. Several very beautiful swimming pools, equipped and supervised (like the beach). Good quality catering, drinks served at the table, varied and quality buffet. Top breakfast, bread baked in the pizza oven, and you can ask for extras included, squeezed orange juice, cappuccino etc. Restaurants to book very good, top, gastro. Small, well-maintained zoo, the animals seem well taken care of. To improve: ashtrays on the beach would be welcome and Nespresso capsule coffee machines are fast, but not very eco-friendly!!! Village and shops 300 m away. In short, great stay, we will undoubtedly return.

This was my first all-inclusive holiday. I was a little apprehensive about what to expect but overall we had a really lovely week in this hotel. Overall, there were some very positive experiences but a few things that let the hotel down - it felt like it was 20% off being incredible and just missed the mark on a few areas sometimes. Firstly, the food … The main buffet had a lot of options but was busy and so could be quite hectic! My little boy is allergic to dairy and eggs and the staff at the hotel were very good and accommodating to these on the whole. What would be really beneficial is to have every food item clearly labelled with all the allergy information so we didn’t have to keep asking what he could/couldn’t have. Makou Christina, the service manager, got him special pancakes every morning, which was lovely. The selection was plentiful and the quality OK. You’re allowed to eat in the a La carte restaurants once each during your stay. We were a bit worried that these would be the same food options as the buffet, however, we were really pleasantly surprised as each restaurant was really good; tasty food, good wine list and great service. The Asian restaurant in particular was really good and the service we received from Siveri Vasillis was outstanding. He was so friendly, welcoming and had food prepared for our little boys allergies in advance. The beach front creperie and ice cream parlour was a nice touch, although again could be very busy and not all ice cream flavours were readily available, which was a little annoying after queuing for half an hour to be left with one choice. They also provided options without dairy and milk; although, again, these ran out and the staff weren’t very forthcoming about getting replacements. This was a similar story in the pool snack bar - options were the same every day and supplies ran low into the afternoon, with limited choice and no one keen to top up. Facilities … every where was really clean and the rooms were nice - if sp****ly furnished. The pools were great and the Aqua Park was a fantastic addition. My little boy loved it. Useful to have a help-yourself bar as well. The beach bar was an absolutely beautiful spot where you could watch the sunset. The Sun loungers, deckchairs and general setting felt top quality. Violet made a fantastic Margarita cocktail. It was a shame it closed before sunset but it also meant it was a really beautiful and quiet spot to watch the sunset. The main square was a really lovely and fun spot in the evening, often with live music. Loads of kids were playing in the square and there was tons of different seating areas to eat and relax whilst the kids played and danced. Drink … there are plenty of bars and a good selection of drinks. We were a bit frustrated as Prosecco is advertised as available on the bars. However, what is served as standard is a sweet sparkling wine. You have to specifically ask for proper Prosecco and it often ‘sold out’. Again, the general s

A special thanks to Niki, Spiridula, Besa and Olympia! Your attention to the guests makes the difference. Overall we rate our holiday with 4 stars thanks to the staff. The service of the hard working staff is excellent, the food and drinks are very good and the resort is spacious and close to the beach. We stayed here at the end of October and we were lucky with the weather. The sea temperature was very pleasant but the swimming pools were very cold. Too cold for us so the Aqua park we didn't use. Noisy!! We had a room at the main square and that was very noisy. Through the whole night very loud noise from arriving and leaving guests, yelling kids (and adults!), maintenance staff starting early with cleaning the square. The cleaning and quality of the room was average, loads of dust under the bed and some minor defects. Unfortunately we could only book the Italian restaurant and not the Greek and Asian restaurant. On the first day of our arrival we tried to book these restaurants and we didn't hear anything, so after several times asking the restaurants seemed to be fully booked or closed. That was a pity. Overall we enjoyed our stay at Costa Botanica.

A lovely resort with very welcoming staff. Unfortunately as the site became busier the food left a lot to be desired. The food in the main restaurant was cold and ran out frequently. The themed restaurant were slightly bizare, i.e. Greek authentic food, a main meal of chicken thighs on a bed of tomato pasta was more cheap spanish, and quite frankly tasted as though it came from the local frozen food supermarket. Likewise the sushi restaurant, crispy duck was actually fried in batter. Drinks were brought to the table by lovely staff but arrived as the meal was finishing as they were so busy. All in all not a good experience from this resort which was a shame. Would not reurn.

Had a lovely family time... But fairly average hotel overall and wouldn’t return. Everything here but just comes up a bit short…for example slides are great for the kids, but the surrounding grass area is not that comfortable..lazy river, great but fairly dirty looking water.. tennis courts, mossy and clearly beyond its shelf life.. the workout area is just unusual. 4 bikes, Some heavy duty barbells and one set of 4kg dumbbells. All outside next to the shop and the playground, so often full of kids playing with them. Prob biggest gripe was queuing for breakfast and dinner, 20 mins plus, ram packed into small dining area, slow wait on drinks. Food areas outside the main dining, little on the basic side Rooms were great, lovely to be close to the beach and still wander into town, lovely staff…we did have a good time, sorry as the other reviews seem really positive.
