"Lovely apartments, they make you really feel welcome. It is effectively run by a very friendly Greek family, its not posh, but you have everything you need, and you only need to ask if you want anything or help. They have quite a lot of cute friendly cats that roam around the place. The pool is lovely, their are always plenty of sunbeds available. The bar and food served there is very good and very reasonably priced. Wifi is very good by the pool and bar area. Sometimes we were not always able to get wifi in our apartment, perhaps it needs a booster? or perhaps too many people using it at the same time? The town of Acharavi is on the doorstep, and about 5 minutes walk to the nearest supermarket. The local beach is about 400 metres walk. The bus stop is just outside, and has a reasonable bus service, alternatively you can book coach trips to other local resorts cheaply anyway, if you dont wish to drive. We would be quite happy to go back again, and highly recommend this place."

"Great hotel complex with several pools and bars. Rooms are well furnished. We had mosquito nets on the windows and patio doors in particular. The food (half board) is varied and tasty. The buffet is constantly replenished until the end of mealtime. The people who work in this complex are absolutely worth mentioning. Very friendly, helpful and attentive. Without exception! Also interesting! They act with an eye on environmental protection. In addition to photovoltaics on various roofs, an e-bus and an e-scooter are available as shuttle vehicles!"

"Our second stay at Century Resort, the first a decade ago. Our memories served us well, the hotel remains very friendly and welcoming, the rooms large and spacious and plenty of sun beds available around the pool no matter what time of the day. Plenty of shade offered by trees and greenery. Would highly recommend."

"We have just returned from 11 nights and absolutely loved this hotel.. highly recommend. From the moment we arrived the service was warm and friendly, from reception to bar/restaurant. Room was stunning with a sea view and private hot tub which we enjoyed immensely. The standard was the best we have had in Acharavi with constant attention to detail in terms of cleanliness, maintaining garden area etc and the staff were super helpful and friendly at all times. Breakfast was fresh and plentiful only Slight drawback that it was the same each day but very nice, also ordered drinks and snacks at the pool bar which were reasonably price and well presented. Full experience was excellent and we will definitely be back! 10/10"

"We have just returned from a fantastic holiday at Costa Botanica as a family of two adults and a two-year-old. We were given a room upgrade which was a lovely surprise and very much appreciated. The resort is really beautiful with lots of greenery and attention to detail. The pools are lovely- plenty of choice and the waterpark is brilliant with a lovely lazy river. There are lifeguards at every pool and also at the beach. We never had any issues finding sunbeds but I imagine it may be different during summer holidays. There is plenty for kids to do and our toddler had the time of her life. The staff are lovely and very helpful, the beach is gorgeous and the beach bar is great too. The main square is a pleasant place to chill in the evenings with table service for drinks and a general nice vibe. The food was good, no complaints and lots of choice. There was always lots of fresh fruit and salad, you can build your own or choose pre-prepared ones which were all delicious and there are plenty of meat and seafood options, I had some delicious grilled prawns with the shells on, mussels, fried anchovies etc. There are also plenty of options for more fussy eaters- pizza, chips, spaghetti Bolognese, chicken goujons etc. There are two snack bars and creperies/ ice cream stations which are great if you want lunch on the go or while you're at the pool and don't want to have to go back to your room, get dressed and go to the buffet restaurant. The snack bars provide things like sandwiches, hot dogs, burgers, gyros, salads, chicken nuggets, chips, pizza etc and there are also self serve beer stations. The cocktails are great and there are lots of options. We also did the wine tasting with Georgia which was fantastic and Georgia was very accommodating and provided drinks and snacks for our daughter while we sampled the wines. The a la carte restaurants were very nice (we went to all but the fine dining as they do not allow children). Mosquitoes were not as bad as expected having read previous reviews although we did always use repellant and I was bitten maybe 6 or 7 times. Considering I am usually eaten alive, this was a positive for me. Our toddler was not bitten at all and I only saw a couple of wasps which were not a nuisance. At one point, we lost power in our room and when we reported it, they sent someone to fix it straight away. The only minor negatives were the drinks service which was very slow at times. We were not bothered about having much to drink but if I had been on a couples or group holiday we may have been slightly more annoyed. The buffet restaurant was sometimes understaffed with tables lacking cutlery and glasses and at one point there was no high chair available for our toddler so we had to leave and go back later. We also requested a baby bath as we only had a shower in our room and it took two days and several reminders for it to be delivered to our room (although they were very apologetic). Having said all of this, we w"

"I was surprised, because everything looks much better in live. The beach is practically on the territory of the hotel. The most beautiful sandy beach in the Archavi part (the shores are stony if you go along the embankment). Two sunbeds and an umbrella cost only €6. Ewerywhere is very clean. There is a large parking lot. Breakfast is served in a 4* hotel of the same chain. Wide selection of food. There is a bigger supermarket nearby. The rooms are simple but tidy. We had a small kitchen and a terrace with the garden view. I recommend to take a sea view room, its really great view. We have lived in three places on the island, but this hotel is just perfect and the best we have booked in Corfu."

"Perfect stay! Lovely apartment, spotless clean, nicely decorated in a blend of modern and traditional. Plenty of amenities and, having arrived past midnight, greatly appreciated having a bottle of cold water plus quality coffee capsules and some food to have in the morning! Loved the garden, very well kept, with its ancient olive tree. Pool is great too, with sufficient sunbeds and umbrellas. Couple of very nice extras, such as a camera-printer combo to take a selfie and print it out on the spot. The host has been absolutely great, welcoming and helpful all the way through, truly seeking to provide the best experience for his guests. Location is excellent, close to supermarkets, shops, pharmacy, plenty of good restaurants, and a 10-minute walk away from the beach. Definitely recommend and would come back for more!"

"Lovely hotel, great value for money... huge swimming pool, very resonable prices at pool bar. Good food. Great location bars and restaurants on main street 10min walk (Alegria was exceptional mixed seafood plater and mixed meat plater amazing)... bars and resturants on the beach front 10/ 15 minutes away. Bus stop out the front 5min bus journey to rhoda. I suggest getting the ferry over to Albania and then catching a taxi over to ksimil lovely beaches. Sidara very beautiful too we spent the day there caught a taxi for 25euros. "

Acharavi Beach Hotel ★★★★
"Currently a guest. 4* (what a joke) and they do not even provide drinking water. Not only that you cannot have it delivered to your room and pay for it. You have to go and find a mini market and pay for it. Water. Its 2023. In addition- you have to pay for the towels by the hotel, pool and beach. 4 star!!!!!! As if. Finally. The rooms on the website are not the rooms you get. And today I arrived and got a breakfast and when they say it’s until 1015 (i arrived at 2.30am) everything is cleared away by 10.15. Everything is geered towards a german market. Its money grabbing and awful. Even the toilet paper is like sandpaper. AVOID!!!!!!!!!"

Century Resort ★★★★
"Century Resort is nice but we were really disappointed on arrival as the hotel accommodation was nothing like the one advertised on the Tui website. Whilst we appreciate that images on a website is an illustrative guide, they should still be realistic of the standard we can expect. The room on the Tui website looked nothing like the one we were allocated. This is room 703 which looked like a former storage utility room with metal railings converted into a bedroom - as you can see in the pictures. I think if we had been given a room that looked like the picture on the website then we would've given higher marks. Pros: - The bed was comfortable. - People at the resort are friendly - especially our cleaner with the reddish hair. - The resort is family friendly and really good for kids. - The service is efficient. Cons: - We stayed room 703 which looked nothing like the one advertised on Tui website. It was more like a former storage room with metal railings and we had paid for 10 days! We would never had booked this room if I had seen the real pictures. - The garden view faces the car park driveway. - I had ordered a chicken meal for lunch at the resort and found pork. I can eat pork but some people do not. - Dirty cups in the bedroom weren't replaced. We used handwash to rinse it ourselves. We were very disappointed with our room, but otherwise, location was very good, pool was good, staff was polite, and great for families. Our satisfaction rating would've been higher if it wasn't for the room."

Grecotel LUXME Costa Botanica ★★★★★
"Checked in yesterday for a two‑week stay booked through TUI — a holiday that cost more than my car — so we expected a genuinely premium experience. Unfortunately, the hotel hasn’t lived up to that. The check‑in process is poor. Guests are asked to download an app and complete everything themselves, including scanning passports and entering personal details. It feels more like self‑service than hospitality. We requested a quiet room due to reviews mentioning noise from the main square. Instead, we were placed in one of the closest rooms to it, and the music keeps our daughter awake until 11pm. The room is extremely basic, comparable to a tired Premier Inn at a motorway services. The lack of an iron and ironing board is baffling. When we requested them, they were taken away after 30 minutes because that’s the hotel’s policy. Completely unreasonable. To add to this, the minibar — which is advertised as being topped up daily — simply isn’t. Ours hasn’t been replenished at all. It’s a shame, because the pools and gardens are genuinely lovely. But when you spend this kind of money, you expect to feel valued. Here, you don’t. After this experience, I’ll be returning to Marriott stays only."

"Fantastic location, right on the sea front. We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment, with a sea view. The bedrooms were large and airy with air conditioning. The kitchenette was small and basic - small hob, kettle and fridge / freezer. The bathroom was extremely outdated, with rust in the bath/shower. We didn't use the living room. Whilst perfectly fine and big, the apartment lacked any nice touches such as no art work on the magnolia walls. I was happy with it for the price we paid. The pool area was lovely, with direct access to the beach and a Greek Taverna which was part of the hotel. Breakfast was served in the more upmarket sister hotel, Acharavi Beach - with surprise tortoises inside just off reception. We could also use their facilities - which was a great bonus. They had a pool on the sea front and then a gorgeous quiet pool in the centre of the complex. There was a restaurant onsite too, in addition to the dining room. There were bars and restaurants within easy walking distance along the beach. A small supermarket was just off site and a larger one 5 minutes walk away on the main road. From this road you could get a bus into Roda, Sidari or to Kassiopi in the opposite direction. We went into Sidari for a Greek night - bus there and taxi back (€23). Would definitely recommend this hotel."

"The most perfect place to stay. Perfect room with bathroom, balcony and kitchen with everything we could ever need. Excellent location in walking distance to some great restaurants, bars and ice cream! Yiannis was very attentive over WhatsApp, helping us to arrange airport transfers and providing brilliant recommendations for what to do on our holiday. Free onsite parking, fresh towels and sheets daily. No faults whatsoever :)"

"Hate this place ... you don´t want to spend your holiday there. The food is equivalent to a worse summer camp for chlidren,.The accommodation older and the shower dirty and as a bonus with mildew and no hot running water daily around 10pm onwards. Regular leftovers for dinner from lunch or previous days, constant queues for food, which no one replenished. So when you get to the meal for example 30 minutes after its start, so you just have nothing left. No choice of food in terms of fruit, vegetables, cheese, fish, pastries, spreads."
