Misaka Ryokan

This is my second stay here. The dishes, which are made with plenty of local ingredients, are very delicious and reflect the concept of the ryokan. It was a blissful time for hot spring lovers, with a round trip between an open-air bath with only the source water (it was winter so it was cold when you stepped out of the bath) and an indoor bath with a high ceiling and no pressure. After breakfast, the coffee ground by the host was especially delicious. In an environment where I could spend a good time just like before, I was able to receive hospitality from the host and the landlady that I couldn't get at a large inn, and was able to have a relaxing time. The evaluation is based on day trip bath use only. Hirugami Onsen uses mixed spring water from four source wells. However, there are very few accommodations that use natural hot spring water, and I learned through word of mouth that this open-air bath has a rare natural hot spring water source, so I decided to use it. The spring quality is an alkaline simple sulfur hot spring with a pH of 9.8 and a source temperature of 48.2℃. It is true that the hot water is fed directly from the source, but since the hot water is dripped little by little from a tall spout, the temperature felt like 40 degrees Celsius, so you could take a long bath. Compared to other accommodations, the open-air bath is not a circulating system and does not use chlorine, so the hot water felt fresher. It was worth the visit. However, this can be said about the spring quality of Hirugami Onsen as a whole, but for a sulfur spring, there is almost no sulfur odor, and although the pH is 9.8, it is definitely a beauty bath with a slippery feel. However, it didn't have as amazing a slippery feeling as Kannon Onsen in Izu.
