I had a few day experience at Momona Hotel. Electricity and generator are not working, breakfast is tasteless and the same thing is served, we were eating in the dark, lift is not working, swimming pool is not hot water, we can't even get water for bathing, we are very difficult to use toilet, even this whole day no staff or management members not care. It's a frustrating experience. It shows that they were not well prepared from the beginning.

this hotel is vaue for money, good location, nice employees, clean carpeted rooms with very good breakfast. the staff are excellent. absolute value for money. they also provide transport to airport free, which is like 5 minutes away. I loved this hotel.

Our family - 4 kids and two adults - have enjoyed Momona hotel for three weeks. The hotel rooms are big size, nice and clean. We have had family here who have joined us for traditional coffee (bunna) ceremony in the Hotel lobby, and restaurant manager Kasech have fulfilled every wishes we have had. I must say that all staff here are so nice, smiling and helpful. Manager Hunegnaw Mesfin has been very professional and we will certainly stay next time in Addis…

I was searching the web for a bar that was showing it nearby, suddenly one of the Momona employee came to me and said that he's also going somewhere to relax, He took me to the private house which is near by bole and we both drunk some beer. He's keep on saying that this is not a public bar and the dancers here are just graduated from college they just arrange the party here. I thought it will be some kinda free. Finally he gave me the bill which is 70650 Birr (940 USD), I barely drunk 2 bottle beer and one short whiskey, it may cost around 400 Birr not more than that. Then another fat guy came into the room, they both insisted me to pay the bill. Next day I ask the receptionist to double check the hotel employee, I didn't get the proper answer yet.
