Nightcap at Watermark Glenelg

Room was perfect. Clean and comfy with a smart tv for netflix. Was a cheap but comfy getaway. Room had 1 double and a small single for our daughter. I found most more expensive places only had 1 bed. The balcony you could actualy smoke on, making it very convenient for my partner. Over all great stay if your not all about the view. 5 min walk to jetty road. We loved it.
Glenelg Holiday Apartments-Corfu

We spend two nights here for our honeymoon vacation. This apartment was spacious, clean and most importantly had everything you needed. Well equipped kitchen with a large fridge. Perfectly located. Very closed to a beautiful beach and walking distance to many great restaurants. Trams station was just few minutes walk. Good value for money. This was my first time to Adelaide and I will definitely come back again with my family!
Glenelg Dockside Motel

This hotel is very well located. Just across the road is the marina and all that Glenelg has to offer is within a couple of hundred metres in either direction. You don’t pay a lot for this hotel and as a consequence you don’t really get a lot. The room was secure and relatively clean. Our room was up some poorly lit stairs. The shower was over the bath and used a flimsy shower curtain. The showerhead had an annoying habit of shooting water out sideways and hitting you in the face as you turned it on! The air-conditioner head was fitted to a piece of plywood and when it switched on it vibrated quite badly. The bed was quite comfortable and the curtains did a good job of keeping the room dark. The room was quite quiet which was surprising given how close it was to a relatively busy road. The service at reception was fine. I have stayed at this hotel many, many years ago and to be honest I don’t think it has changed much since then.
Stamford Grand Adelaide
4.4/548 Reviews
The Grand is without a doubt all about the location! Given it’s ocean front position it should offer an absolute premium experience but instead falls a little short as it continues to date without much sign of refurbishment. The rooms are basic, the carpets old, the furnishings aging and everything just feels in need of some love. Bathrooms still have showers over the bath with shower curtains and the air con in the room wasn’t very effective (too hot despite being on the coolest setting). There was also a wedding being hosted during my 1 night stay and despite my room being on the 5th floor (ballroom is on level 1), I could hear the band/music until the end of the reception at 11:30pm. On the positive (besides premium location), the staff at reception / concierge were excellent. They greeted with absolute care on arrival and happiness during check out, despite being early in the morning. It felt like they enjoyed what they did and that’s so good to see in customer facing roles. Worth considering this hotel for a stay, just as long as you’re happy with basic ammenities in a great location.
Mantra Tonsley Adelaide

A truly amazing experience, everyone who is involved here is friendly and so accommodating from the moment we walked in. The room is very comfortable and well appointed. The restaurant is top class, the guy running food and beverage is in a class of his own, he has made our stay an experience. Cannot recommend it enough we will make this our place to stay on our visits to Adelaide.
Marion Hotel

The room was spacious comfortable modern and provided all the desired appointments. The bathroom exceeded expectations and was larger than most. We had chosen a room with a bath. Very good decision and very impressive room. The food was excellent although the choice was limited. We were disappointed however that there was no room within the dining room the upmarket dining area for hotel guests to eat so there would have been a wait for over an hour to get a table. Clearly the dining facilities are attracting many locals to eat there. This means guests often have to eat in the less quality areas. We did think the meal choices was limited for an upmarket hotel
