I have been a regular customer since 2018, but I have noticed a significant deterioration of the Borjs Hotel, especially since 2022. The service has lost quality, with fewer staff available, such as the porter. In the rooms, we no longer find little touches like bottles of water and welcome baskets. In addition, foot towels are regularly forgotten, and current toiletries are of lower quality than before. During my last stay, problems were encountered, such as a suspicious mark on the living room bench, the cold side of the faucet not working, and a faulty toilet flush that would not stop. However, these issues are not as concerning as the persistent noise from the bar. Although the noise stops around 1:30 a.m., this makes a peaceful night's sleep impossible, which is particularly problematic for those staying for business purposes. This unfortunate situation led me to make the decision to no longer choose the Borjs Hotel for my future stays. It's sad to see how a once very good hotel (refer to my previous rating of 5*) can deteriorate significantly.
