Hotel Riu Tikida Beach - All Inclusive Adults Only

This hotel really is phenomenal in the way that it treats it's guests in my experience, as a disabled person, it can be overwhelming with so much people around and the staff here knew exactly what to do, from saying hello to me, making me feel comfortable, to helping me while carrying my food.

Me my husband and 18 year old son had a lovely holiday at the Riu Tikida Beach. The food was lovely, it was immaculately clean. There was a lot of French people in the hotel which the staff definitely seemed to favour. Majority of the staff were lovely but there was a few not very pleasant and very sharp with me. The main lady at the reception especially. The first few days we had a room which faced onto the road. There is a nightclub at that side of the hotel so it was very noisy until 5am. Eventually I asked to be moved which they had no problem in doing. Overall a great hotel and would go back.

Beautiful hotel, Amazing Staff, to the point I met several repeat visitors and they all said staff remembered their drinks and names. From our experience we understand why. We researched this place and we were not disappointed! The food all cooked perfectly and more importantly tasted delicious even the lunch was better than most of hotels evening menu. The staff could not do enough. Short walk Acsess to beach two pools one smaller than the other as this is adults only not an issue. All rooms are clean stylish and well maintained. Local amenities close Hotel is safe secure security visible at all times. We had five 19-30s with us they enjoyed the hotel and its facilities ; pools, tennis court, Gym and pool table all spaced around the site. If you want loud music noisy around the pool then this serine hotel may not be for you. We enjoyed the pace and amazed at how the hotel ran like a well oiled machine. Fabulous spaces around the whole hotel to sit unwind whether it’s a bed, lounger, sofas, chairs and terraces. Fantastic breakfast too which made start of the day perfect all types of cuisines for breakfast! So many staff to thank individually… but will say each and everyone made a difference to our holiday We are going back and we planning longer stay. so much of this beautiful country to explore… the hotel is the cherry on top. Great hotel but just witnessed subhuman tourist putting towels on to sunbeds at 10 mins past midnight. Sort this out RIU before I post videos. Shame this is allowed to happen in a TUI Blue hotel. You need to get your act together and keep this to a standard expected of RIU and TUI Blue

Stayed at this hotel May, late arrival and staff were quick to check us in, they did try and grab our suitcases immediately and offer to bring them up to the room. On arrival to the room there were huge cockroaches in the bathroom. I suspect this was because the room was ground floor level. Reception did change rooms immediately, but there was a very long wait for bags as they were in the other room not the new room. Eventually after waiting ages we got our bags ourselves. Buffet food was ok, nice selection of salads, fresh fish and meats. Just double check the meat is cooked as on more than one occasion food was undercooked. (Chicken and burgers) The outside pizza/panini area was also ok to eat at. Drinks were fine, waiters and pool bar staff were happy and always friendly. Some reviews mention cats, yes there are cats here however there is a sign saying the hotel look after them and only feed them by their ‘cat cafe’ They did not bother us and did not see them steal food or enter any of the restaurants. If you want service by the pool and window seats in the restaurant you have to tip the waiters. This was seen by mostly French guests. Again didn’t bother us, plenty of space at dinner. Breakfast service is a little manic, twice there were no tables made up, lacking coffee cups and cutlery. If you go earlier than 09.00am you do miss this rush! If you want a sunbed be prepared to get up at 6:30am….by 7am most are taken up and people do not use them for hours and hours. Staff do not remove towels even when other guest require the beds. This does need to be sorted out. More parasols needed aswell. Overall a nice hotel. I did have a £500+discount with TUI so not sure I would have paid full price.
