Hotel Riu Tikida Beach - All Inclusive Adults Only

The restaurant staff didn't like the English people and the French got the best table's and best looked after.This was made very clear to us several times at meal times.We got to the hotel on 29/04/24 our first room was looking out on a wall with no sun we got moved room 2 was a nice room but there was no balcony or terrace just a window .as we booked a room with a balcony or terrace you'd think thay would have at least put us in a room with one or the other but no the hotels response was you booked a basic room so the following day I went to reception with my booking which stated that my room was with a balcony or terrace and pool view. Thay moved us again to a room which we accepted but still not happy ..My partner as food allergies and not 1me.eber of staff in the restaurant understood what she was asking none of the food was labled with any allergy information.The hotel itself is nice but not the best all the furnishings are dated well worn-out in my opinion. The pools we're nice but the sun loungers are in need of being replaced thay have new ones still boxed that put 10 new ones out but the French got them every day because thay where out at 6 in the morning with there towels and if you got there first your towels we're removed by the towel man at the pool that says to me the French where treated differently to us English. There is also a need for more parasols. The hotel needs a good face lift I could never see us going back to a hotel like this again.The reception staff have a saying which we found out [come back in 10 minutes]so when you go back it's a different member of staff and you get the same run around. So no I can't go there again Morocco is a lovely country the people are very helpful but we must have got the wrong people at this hotel..

We took a 7 Day break in this hotel in Agadir and it was a beautiful environment and all the local people and hotel employees were awesome! Food was great. Evening entertainment wasn't that exciting, just live singers, but we weren't too bothered about that as it was just day time we were interested in.

The room was great ,couldn't fault it to be honest, apart from location to side, could see the sea but too windy to sit on the balcony, the beds super comfy slept well every night apart from we missed our double! Agreeing with other reviews that staff favour the French but our country doesn't really tip as much as they do! We may have been unlucky our week, it was like Club 60-90! Even though we are not far behind! Entertainment was poor, the resident singer only knew four songs and seemed like he sometimes forgot the words! Management you would do better to give more stage space and get better entertainment. Spotlessly clean all the time and pool was great although a little cold at times, the cats were nice to have around, we love cats anyway. Probably wouldn't go to morrocco again but the Riu chain not too bad.

Arrived at 20.45, check in was very quick and was was able to use the restaurant, our room 208 was a fantastic size and a side pool view, must admit the breakfasts are not the best but it didn’t bother me unlike my husband who was disappointed, the lunch time restaurant was ok nothing special but shout out to Naima who looked after us, now the sun bed situation !!! in previous hotels I have got up slightly early to get a bed and parasol but never at 7.30am it’s ridiculous, hotel please take note. I would say it was 70% French and 30% British, at no time did I see any favouritism. The drinks are not good, I tried a few spirits and cocktails with the exception of the Sangria which was very good, I found the beach disappointing, it just didn’t do it for me. The male TUI rep assured me pick up was 21.25 when I had received a text on my app stating 20.30, thankfully I took no notice of him as the coach arrived at 20.30 The entertainment was ok, the White Night was fantastic, maybe more nights like this?!! Overall a good hotel, exceptionally clean with good staff.

My husband & I enjoyed a few days in RIU Tikida Beach recently. The hotel was very clean and has a wide selection of food. The pool area is lovely and very relaxing. We did notice towels left on sun beds and nobody showing up all day to claim them but in our experience still lots of availability of beds for everyone. Our room was large and faced directly on to the magnificent beach. The hotel organised a transfer for us to Marrakech. Our driver Yusef went above and beyond to ensure our safe delivery at our Riad there. 5 stars for his Taxi service. Like others have said the only negatives for us was the nightly entertainment can be hit and miss. The alcoholic drinks options are only mediocre. The cocktails are not freshly made. The same glass style is used for everything, wither you are having a beer, cocktail or a coke. For me presentation is very important when it comes to both food and drink. Hotel have got it right with food but have a lot further to go with their drinks offering. Location of hotel is good. On a long promenade & beach which is fantastic for morning runs and evening walks. We felt very safe when we left hotel along the promenade, lots of police/security around. I had read other reviews about people feeling the French were getting preferential trea**ent by hotel staff. What I observed, is that many of the French seemed to be returning guests & were familiar with certain staff members. In my opinion if you are a regular visitor to a hotel, you deserve that extra bit of attention. We never once felt we were treated in any lesser way, to note we did tip our waiters but we always do. All in all, we had a very good experience. If you are looking for a good quality hotel, beside a beautiful beach & just want a complete chill out holiday , this would fit the bill perfectly.

Cannot fault the staff, they’re all so friendly and happy to help. From check in to check out I couldn’t fault! Food was very good, large selection and they had different themed nights! Room was large and beds were comfy. The only down sides is that there is not enough seating by the pool and many people reserve the beds all day, some of who you don’t see for hours. Entertainment was good, only down side is that the singer from the live band sang the same set list each time! Will definitely come back to his hotel in the future, very clean and modern and has a great finish with details! Also I recommend booking into the two restaurants. 10/10
