We booked Caribbean village for a last minute holiday it was cheap and what you would expect for the price. The rooms are a good size and perfect for what we needed. The only thing that let the hotel down was the lack of food choice, we found it very poor and struggled to eat some nights. But would definitely recommend for someone who needs a cheap holiday.

Booked via Loveholidays, sceptical after reading reviews which turned out to be accurate. Rooms are dated, just about kept clean by the hard working staff but they are fighting a losing battle. Awful smell from our toilet which didn’t refill properly, shower head clip was snapped so nowhere to put it when having a shower, floor was so dirty you couldn’t walk around bare foot. The bedroom doors slam loudly around you throughout the day and night, really bad for light sleepers. The food was basically eggs for breakfast (fried or omelette) and a salad bar. Lunch and dinner were very basic with a very repetitive basic menu (turkey, chicken on the bone) and a salad bar … one night omelettes reppeared for dinner too. The entertainment & bar staff were great and made our trip enjoyable, without them it would have been a miserable experience so hats off to them for trying so hard every night. You can’t wander anywhere away from the hotel without getting hassled, not just on the beach, if you want to walk into the centre, or the marina, you will be bothered every few minutes from someone pretending to be from your hotel or trying to take you to the Argen Oil Factory, sell you tours, get you a taxi, take you to a shop etc. a polite “no” is met with hostility. Probably won’t return to Morocco on the back of this which seems a shame.

Very basic All areas not well cleaned including room . beds made every day but not changed . Well in need of a good clean and upgrade everywhere. Food was advertised as Moroccan .it was and TBF was always well cooked and never struggled to find something to eat .there was plenty of "only Chips and bread to eat " people twisting on but that's down to them . Agidar lovely place and will return but definitely upgrade the hotel . On a personal note I was a bit disappointed in the fact I emailed the hotel 3 weeks before we travelled requesting a hand with arranging something nice to suprise the wife as it was our 25 th anniversary. Hotel knew nothing about it or seemed willing to help

I booked it via loveholiday The rooms and facilities are outdated and require upgrading. There were areas where we could smell urine. The rooms with a temperature of 35-40 degrees Celsius do not have air conditioning. Opening the balcony door to cool down the room resulted in a mosquito attack. There's not much we can do except install a pool. The worst part is the food. They said it was all-inclusive, but only eggs were available for breakfast. To get them, you need to wait for at least 30 minutes. All other things, you can have some bread and some salads. That's it. Small plastic glasses are used to serve drinks in the dining area. All other meals are the same all the repetitive food and long wait to get some food out times you can't even get a plate and most of the plates are cracked or chipped. We have access to the pool bar, but if you want to have a drink and relax, you'll have to wait at the counter for a long time. Some customers are jumping the queue and obtaining drinks quickly. It's not something I can question, as it could cause the staff to become aggressive towards you. It seems like they have a special priority. I have seen a British couple mocked by the bar staff very badly because they used the word "excuse me" to the staff to get some attention. I got to a point where I needed to finish this holiday and come back to the UK earlier but due to the flights I had to stay, I ended up getting my own drinks from the shops and sat at the pool. And here comes the funny part "I am not allowed because the bottle used is glass. Positively, the lobby bar is quiet and the staff is very friendly. Never book in this resort the worst experience

The rooms are very dirty also we never used the shower and the toilet was broken, the flush tank was not working properly and the lamp in the room was burnt out. The condition of the food was very bad and could not be eaten, only a few types of salad were served. We usually eat outside the hotel.

Was a bit dubious after reading reviews but went with it anyway. The rooms are basic with not care given but clean enough and roomy. The bar and entertainment staff are fantastic, they couldn't do enough for you and nothing was ever a problem. They get 5* all round. Hats off to them for the heat through Ramadan, completing their energetic routines and dealing professionally with the tourists. Food was less than basic, I never moan and always say you can find something but here I struggled. Morning omelet became my go to and eating out at night became the norm. The snack bar was ok, but staff struggling to remain polite as just so busy and under staffed, got them smiling though so all good. Just order double what you would like as you get half a burger and about 12 fries! Booked the pizza night, different but ok. The pizza was pretty tasty. As for the market stalls in the hotel, you felt a little harassed every time you walked by. A couple were fine and you could happily browse without being jumped on, the others need to take note as I spent my money in the relaxed ones. Would we stay here again? Yes. Rooms are acceptable. Food, you can find something to tide you over then eat out for something more substantial and it doesn't break the bank. Pools are pleasant and clean. A couple of dodgy tourists, 1 actually kicked out of resort, the other didn't have a room there! Keep an eye on your kids at night
