If you seek an authentic and comfy stay in real Fort, then this place is for you!! And, you’ll meet the charming and friendly descendants of the founders of this magnificent place The food is superb There is much to do here And if you want to do nothing, the restfulness will envelope you Enjoy!!

I wasn't quite sure what to expect here but this was a brilliant stay in a fabulous place. Rooms, food and service were excellent and I would return in a heartbeat. The fort itself was well worth exploring and we enjoyed the tour of the village too.

We had a great stay at Fort Barli. The hotel is formerly a family home and full of character and history. Nitya (the owner) was incredibly hospitable - my wife had her birthday there and they organised a very special dinner in the beautiful maharani rooms. Kesar was also extremely helpful and friendly - he took us on a walking tour of his village. An experience we won't forget.

Beautiful hotel and such a welcome treat to sleep in a stunning room and made to feel so at home! Delicious food and and wonderful to meet some members of the family whom were perfect hosts! We all wished we could have stayed longer! Thank you so much..we highly recommend.

Fort Barli Hotel was an amazing place to stay, an oasis of calm off the beaten track and away from all the hustle & bustle of other towns & cities. A beautiful place to relax & we were made to feel very welcome. We stayed in one of the Royal Suites which was enormous & very grand. We spent time watching the beautiful sunrise & sunsets from the roof top spotting the ***y peacocks in the surrounding area. Water Buffalo enjoy cooling off in the nearby lake. For one of our evening dinners we enjoyed the delicious King's Banquet in traditional Rajasthan dress Enjoyed a tour around the local village & chatting to the friendly people, especially the children who were always so excited to see us I would thoroughly recommend staying at Fort Barli

What an incredible place to stay. We had the mother in law’s apartment with cosy seating areas overlooking fields and the village. We had our own patio, swing seat, table and chairs. All very comfortable. There is a short walk to the fort entrance, which opens onto a large area with outdoor seating and a cosy covered seating area. There is a small pool with sun beds for relaxing. Excellent food in the restaurant. We also had a bullock ride and tour of the little village. Great fun. The most endearing part was the welcome and attention that our hostess Nityarsi gave us. She checked on us at mealtimes and chatted to us about the history of the fort. This beautiful young lady will make a great success of this fort. Check out her wedding albums in reception.

un endroit hors du temps, calme et paisible pour récupérer après des trajets routiers parfois épuisants. des chambres comme elles devaient l'être du temps des maharajas. un accueil 'familial' plein d'attention et de gentillesse un repas du soir fort bon

Beautiful and unique property with so much history! The food was amazing and the hosts are even more AMAZING! Highly recommend this stay. The rooms are all unique and individual. You have the opportunity to truly switch off and relax here or venture out for some hiking and activities.

Nous avons passé un moment inoubliable dans cet hôtel: accueil chaleureux, chambre splendide (suite royale, et cette appellation n'est pas usurpée!), restauration sans faille. Le personnel est très attentif et souriant. Tout est beau et propre. Le maître des lieux nous a accompagnés pour une balade en jeep aux alentours pour nous faire découvrir le village et le mausolée de son grand-père, ce qui nous a touchés. Nous ne regrettons qu'une chose: ne pas être restés plus longtemps!!! Odile et Pascal Sey, France.
