"I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Ananta Pushkar. While the property itself has potential, the rooms are quite dated and several fixtures in our room were not functioning properly. However, the biggest issue was the complete lack of hospitality and empathy from the management team. My father suffers from severe knee pain and has difficulty walking. We politely requested a room on the ground floor for his convenience. We were informed that the hotel was sold out in our category. We then requested a room in a lower category on the ground floor and clearly stated that we were happy to downgrade if required. Unfortunately, this request was also declined. What was most disappointing was that another room category was available, but instead of trying to assist us with a medical-related request, we were asked to pay almost double the amount for an upgrade. We were not seeking a luxury upgrade—only a room location that would be more accessible for my father. The attitude of the management, including the General Manager, was neither helpful nor accommodating. At a property that markets itself as a luxury resort, I expected much higher standards of guest care and customer service. As frequent travelers who regularly stay at luxury hotels, we were surprised by the lack of flexibility and empathy shown during our stay. Due to this experience, we decided to move to The Westin Pushkar, where the hospitality, professionalism, and guest service were exceptional and truly reflected what a luxury hotel experience should be. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend Ananta Pushkar based on our experience."
