On the first day, I almost died while dragging my luggage from Akita Station to here. It was a 2km walk from the front of the station! Quite far! Especially since there is actually a hotel in a shopping mall very close to Akita Station!
Moreover, this hotel has to take an overpass or tunnel to get to the nearby supermarket, which is not convenient.
The next day I went to the park and art museum, which was a bit closer. The bus to the airport is right in front of the hotel, which is very convenient for the return trip.
Be careful when eating at the on-site restaurant downstairs of the hotel, as I found reviews that it was expensive and unpalatable. In addition, it is rare that the front desk can speak English, check-in, and hotel facilities are all new and good.
