Great little cluster of villas and apartments - all different and all with at least a bit of sea view. And what a lovely bay to overlook- Stavros Bay and Zorbas mountain Exactly the right mix of hotel / taverna services and self-catering convenience for us Swimming and snorkelling excellent

Endroit paradisiaque, vue magnifique, beau bungalow avec une kitchenette ( frigo avec partie congélation , micro-ondes , bouilloire. Chaque logement a sa terrasse . Literie un peu dure pour moi. Personnel accueillant, serviable et sympathique . Petits-déjeuners copieux ( buffet) et bons . Nous avons eu un barbecue, la nourriture était très bonne. Un petit point négatif, le prix de la petite bière et de l’expresso . Ce n’est qu’un détail par rapport aux nombreuses qualités. Je recommande cet endroit !

Bella struttura in posizione tranquilla, a pochi km dall’aeroporto di Chania. Quest’anno abbiamo soggiornato in due appartamenti, in tempi diversi: uno a piano terra, con due stanze da letto, soggiorno/cucina e bagno, molto comodo per 4, con spazio esterno attrezzato e vista mare; in un secondo soggiorno siamo stati in uno studio per 3 persone con una splendida vista dal terrazzo. Ottimo servizio, con cambio di biancheria e pulizie ogni due giorni (ma tutti i giorni passava qualcuno a ritirare l’immondizia). Forniti anche i teli mare. Tutti gli appartamenti hanno una cucina ben fornita: stoviglie, pentolame, utensili, tostapane, etc... Ambiente familiare, pulito, ben attrezzato: la taverna offre colazione (abbondante) e pasti semplici ma gustosi, a prezzi modici. Da non dimenticare la comoda piscina a pochi passi dal mare (bellissima caletta scogliosa con accesso comodo). Clientela internazionale, molte coppie e piccole famiglie, ma non c’è mai troppa confusione perché gli spazi sono ampi e diversi. Quello che fa veramente la differenza è la disponibilità e gentilezza del personale, sia alla reception che in taverna/bar. Ci siamo trovati benissimo! Grazie per aver reso speciali le nostre vacanze. A presto!

We went to Blue Beach in the evening by the beach for a drink. 2 Greek coffees with raki (1dl) and 2 small draft beers, €22.00!!!!! Are they crasy? We have been coming to Crete for 15 years and have never seen this. This is a good practice to scare away external customers. At the same time we will advertise to them, which will be free.

Me and my grandchildren were so happy that we have chosen Blue Beach resort for our holiday trip. Evetything was so close to our studio, the kids appreciated the pool, there were plenty of sunshades on the beach and the sea was brilliant.

We had Ana amazing stay at great value. We were in a 3 bed studio sea view with 2 patio areas - 1 overlooking the resort beach and the other overlooking Stavros beach. It was amazing on every level. (Though the cockroaches at night were not fun, they live in the rocks). The staff were so friendly and helpful. The other guests, many returning regularly, were friendly as well. It was an oasis. The restaurant had good and plentiful food, with drinks being slightly higher than elsewhere, but worth it to not worry about having a drink and going back to the room (though we had beer, ouzo and soft drinks from the supermarket in our fridge). The pool was lovely, there are plenty of sun beds and never did the place feel crowded even though they were fully booked (unlike other parts of crete where the beaches were mobbed). As for the beach, there are 3 to chose from, but the main one for the resort is the prettiest. It has pink sand like Elofinisi (but without the drive and crowds), volcanic rocks, a wonderful Stavros mountain view and great sunrises (or the other side of a taverna ruin, sun sets). It was wonderful and we cannot wait to return

Nice and spacious apartment right in front of the beach where the movie was filmed. Staff very helpful, delicious food in the restaurant. Pool, lots of flowers, more beaches in walking distance. Kitchen equipment basic. Not so great: You need a car to go shopping, lots of mosquitoes and other beetles (found some in the room), mostly Eastern European tourist…
