"We visited in July 2025 as a couple with a 1,5 yo kid. We chose it for its proximity to kid friendly beaches, the city of Chania and the airport and it was a huge success. We visited 8 beaches during our stay within 30 minutes drive. The airport is only 10 mins away and the city of Chania about 15 minutes. Our apartment is newly built and very beautifully decorated, and our balcony had a view of the pool and the sea. We were also able to catch the sunset. It is fully equipped with brand new appliances and kitchen equipment. There is parking outside the door. The pool is sufficiently big, with a kid section (0.5m deep), plenty of shade and comfortable sunbeds. One more thing that we appreciated is that there are a lot of options for fast food delivery via wolt/e-food etc. Last but not least, the communication is amazing, very easy and the recommendations were all tested and passed the test with high marks. We would choose it again for our next visit. "

"The hotel has only been open for two months. The location is a bit out of the way, but the environment is quite nice, the service is excellent, and the food in the hotel restaurant is also very good. It's great value for money. I unexpectedly celebrated my birthday at the hotel on the day I checked in. Because I arrived at the hotel quite late, I found a cake and champagne in my room when I returned the next day after going out. It was wonderful! 👍"

"Good place to feel Greece in all its charms. Brilliant staff. The soul and heart of this place is Sandy, who cares about the cleanliness and beauty of the resort - always in a good mood. The pool is clean and comfortable, towels available for a small fee. Rooms very clean, with all necessary equipment. Air conditioning and wifi are excellent. A sandy beach and a charming rocky bay are available in the area. Great food in Lena Hotel Restarurant (10, 15 minutes of walking)."

"Extremely disappointed—overrated and overpriced. The coffee was 6 euros for a freddo cappuccino, and the barrel beer was a whopping 6.5 euros. Even downtown in the harbor is less expensive. I've never seen a pricier place; they think it’s Mykonos. I don’t recommend it. At this point, it’s a pure scam.""

"We were so fortunate to land here as a last minute booking when our plans changed. We arrived after hours and the property including the pool and dock were illuminated In the most welcoming way. The next morning we had breakfast on the patio with amazing views of the sea and Chania. There were so many choices it was almost overwhelming. Then we enjoyed the pool and swimming dock all day. It is our deepest hope to return for a longer stay next time we visit Crete!"

"There really is only one word to describe Nanakis Apartments and that is Fabulous!! Family are wonderful caring people, nothing is too much trouble. The staff are the same. Andreas in reception,the girls Georgia and Aspa who keep the apartments spotless and also George who is always busy around the place. The apartments are in a stunning position some of them overlooking the sea. It is so relaxing you don't feel like moving. Apartments are comfortable,the pool area is lovely and well looked after. We were there in June this year,last year and hopefully next year."

Aloni Suites
"My family and I absolutely loved it at Aloni Suites. The apartments were lovely and clean, cleaned every day and had everything we needed. We arrived late at night and Vasia arranged to leave the key for us to get into our apartment. The staff were lovely and really helpful about how to get about on the buses, shops etc. Outside the complex is a bus stop which you can catch to two of the nearby beaches for1.60 euros. There are a few restaurants within 20 minutes walk of the complex. The one I would recommend the most is called “the meating ” where the food is absolutely amazing and the staff are lovely. There are two shops within 20 minutes walking distance heading back to Chania where you can buy all the essentials. The cafe/bar on the complex shuts at 9 o’clock. There is a free pool table and a gym which are always available to use. I would recommend taking the bus to Chania and exploring around the harbour, there are some gorgeous little back streets nearby with cafes covered with colourful flowering vines. We did this on our last day but could have easily spent a day there at least. I would definitely return to Aloni suites in the future! It really is excellent value for money! Hope to visit again.
