Good hotel The bar at the reception has seats inside and outside and it was always almost empty. The breakfast is very good, buffet has wide choice but beware the hotel is big and at the start of the breakfast there is a queue for about 20 minutes. So you either come 10 min earlier or in 20 minutes. Clean and spacious enough rooms. Some with basins, some - without. I guess there are en-suite bathrooms as well, but we stayed in rooms with shared facilities done the corridor. Different floors have different capacity and sometimes their is a queue. Location is very convenient - about 10 minutes walk to the centre of the city. Plenty of free parking on site.

Likely an odd occurrence but the buildings alarms went off about five times between the hours of midnight and 2am which lead to a restless sleep. Hotel staff were not great in communicating nor provided an answer the following morning. Otherwise a fine place and decent location.

Nice modern and clean hotel. It’s almost a suite with microwave and a fridge. Very spacious. Most of all, the location is very convenient. A few minutes walk to the church, botanical garden, and downtown. No need to drive to go to downtown.

Le stationnement est facile (comme partout en Islande).
Prix reste correct.
Douches communes dont une qui ne fonctionne pas.
Surtout : bruits la nuit avec une isolation médiocre…

La chambre était très bien ! Il y a juste eu quelques soucis d'écoulements au niveau du robinet qui est sûrement bouché...
Il y avait de tout au petit déjeuner : oeufs, pain, fromages, viande, fruits,... et même des gaufres ! Très bon en plus !

These are converted dorm rooms for summer. They are not sound proof and they do not feel very private. The bed mattress hurt my back.
