Find the Cheap Al Dhafra Hotels

The hotel was renovated some 6 months ago. A big pool was added and some gardening work done. Rooms are a simple and nice mix of modernity and local traditional style. Good sized with all required amenities. Only minus in the room is a small green (fire sensor?) light which is annoying when you prefer to sleep in the dark. We booked including breakfast and dinner. The dinner buffet was limited but the food was delicious given the reasonable pricing. Only water was served, no juices or more potent liquids were available. Breakfast was a similar small spread but again what was on offer was good. And for me a live egg station is what I need in the morning. Staff throughout the place were very friendly and courteous at all times. The hotel is a short drive from the Moreeb Dune and it’s simply stunning surrounding. Beautiful views over the fast desert for sunset or sunrise. Really amazing! Being just 2 hours from Abu Dhabi this is a nice place to spend a night or two!

This hotel is in an amazing and unique location, looking at the stunning Liwa desert, where the movie Dune was filmed. I’m pleased to inform you that the rooms are actually better looking than the images on booking websites. There are a few short comings though: the activities are limited compared to other hotels (could be the hotel being brand new at the time of my stay), while the staff are very kind, sometimes it takes multiple calls to the reception to get something done. Overall, at around 300USD per night, this hotel is THE best bang for the buck you can get for a room of this class.

The hotel is a bit far from the city. It takes more than 4 hours to drive there from Dubai. The E11 highway is fine with Google navigation. Arrived at the pier smoothly, there are biscuits, dates (huge, delicious, and clean) and life-saving ice towels and drinks in the arrival lounge, waiting for the boat to pick you up. (I have already made an appointment with the hotel email). When we arrived at the hotel, the air conditioner was powerful, the exterior environment was beautiful, and there were many small animals strolling around. We even saw antelopes when we got up early. The indoor room is large, air-conditioned, the bed is super comfortable, and the Wi-Fi is very good. Toothbrush and conditioner are provided. Hygiene: I am not a professional. According to resort standards, I think the daily cleaning is very clean, as is the swimming pool. Facilities: There is a swimming pool, canteen, 2 restaurants and 1 pool bar. The hotel is not big with 4 floors. Service: Our service is 200%, and Ctrip's service is 200%. I am very satisfied. A handsome guy who received us explained the hotel's facilities in a very serious way. Because of his poor hearing, he explained the parts we didn't understand n times> 3 times, after the lecture, I still say it seriously, if you have any questions, you must ask! 🥲No one treats me like this except the math teacher... Service: The breakfast buffet is great, the snacks are very delicate, the dishes are also excellent, and the service staff are very timely in changing plates and serving dishes. When you order freshly made omelets, there will be waiters serving them to the table. Service: The lifeguard in the swimming pool is very responsible, but he has nothing to do during the day, it's too hot... We went in the evening and played for 2-3 hours a day. Service: Sign up for the animal watching activities that come with the hotel. If you like to go to the zoo, you will realize one word: this trip is worthwhile. The language is not enough, the guide brother also output, how to introduce the area of ​​the island, future plans, how to distinguish between male and female, animal habits, various fruit trees. I still have to say that the hotel is perfect, but it is hot and humid outside, and it will get wet after a while, and the waterfall will sweat. The sea is beautiful but the beach is not good, there are reefs. Other hotels on the island should have good beaches.

Fabulous setting [although a 2 1/2 hour car trip from Abu Dhabi]. Probably totally uneconomic but thanks to wealthy Rulers who promote such projects, a truly out of this World experience awaits. Even James Cameron was inspired… Architecture, furnishings and service equally stunning. The pool was being refurbished when I visited but considering the remoteness, facilities are all you’d expect
