Loma Tranquila

We live close enough to visit and decided to check it out before reserving a room. The room we were shown had a bad smell coming from the bathroom. Before agreeing to place the deposit in cash we were told that the smell would be taken care of. One day later upon arriving for check-in we didn't detect any smell mainly because the ceiling fan was on, the bathroom door was closed and windows were open. In the evening we turned off the ceiling fan because it was getting cold. That's when the strong septic smell came from the bathroom. It was quite nauseating!!! So much so, we decided not to stay even after being offered the best room in the hotel. The reservation online was for 10,000cc but gave 20,000cc instead and settled upon arrival, only got back 20,000cc of the 40,000cc total.

Very friendly place with a beautiful view over the valley. The manager, Lino, was very helpful in arranging taxis and food. We had a very nice appar**ent with a nice, big terrace and a kitchen. The hotel is located only 15 minutes away from the international airport.

Amazing location away from the chaos tha is San Jose. Beautiful view overlooking the hills of Aljuela. Lino, the host, was very accommodating, and the amenities were all there, making for a very relaxed stay.
