C’était notre première nuit au Costa Rica après notre atterrissage tardif, ce fut un plaisir, le cadre est sympa, plutôt typique. L’accueil était très chaleureux, les chambres sont propres et la cuisine type soda est bonne. Une entrée en matière Costaricaine réussie !

Hôtel situé à 20 minutes de l’aéroport. 20$ US et vous êtes livrés à votre chambre. La chambre est impeccable pour le prix. Le déjeuner était délicieux et les employés étaient super agréable. Je vous dirai que c’est un hôtel parfait pour un simple arrêt. Car il n’y a rien à faire dans la région.

Villa Margarita is the dream of a kind Dutch woman who, along with an excellent staff and several rescue dogs, does everything she can to make her guests feel like friends visiting her home rather than just staying in the hotel. The grounds are lush with tropical landscaping, the common outdoor dining area is the focus where delicious breakfasts are served and strangers become friends over a cold beer. The rooms are simple, but cozy (she could upgrade the pillows, however). The swimming pool is relaxing and the bustle and chaos of San Jose seems many miles away even though Villa Margarita is just 10 minutes from the international airport. Our family had a fantastic time there. The "zoo" Rescue center is just around the corner. This made our trip even better. Highly recommended over staying in the city. Tranquil and awesome.

Correct pour une nuit en arrivant ou en repartant car proche de l'aéroport. Les chambres sont propres mais vieillotes. Les alentours sont moyens également. Bon petit déjeuner et le staff est plutôt sympa. Le jardin mériterait d'être mieux aménagé et la piscine n'était pas nettoyée le jour de notre passage

Un super accueil, Margarita est vraiment aux petits soins et de très bon conseils Le petit déjeuner est typique et très bon. Un bonne base d’accueil pour les arrivées et un super endroit pour préparer son retour. Les loueurs de voiture déposent et reprenne les véhicules de location à la base d’accueil. Margarita se fera un plaisir de vous réserver un taxi

Margarita is an absolute gem and Villa Margarita is such a special place. It was our first stop after our flight and before our drive to the Caribbean coast. Lush gardens, Bohemian decor, and incredible food and coffee. Highly recommend!

Staying at Margarita"s place was delightful. The place is charming and the rooms are very cozy. I was travelling with my family of 4 and this place hit the spot for one night to gather energy and keep going. If you are looking for a hotel experience this might not be for you but if you want something like a B&B with character then it will strike all the right chirds. And if you like dogs you will get an extra bonus.

La propriété est à quelques kilomètres d’Alajuela et à,8 km de l’aéroport. A votre arrivée, vous serez accueillis par une dizaine de chiens en totale liberté tous différents et tous plutôt calmes. Ils n’aboient que très peu et vous accompagnent aux petits déjeuners. Si vous ne parlez pas espagnol, ce n’est pas un souci car la grande famille qui tient le lieu est allemande et parle anglais aussi. Vous serez donc dans un bain de langue internationale. Si vous voulez grignoter, les hôtes se feront un plaisir de vous préparer un hamburger maison accompagné de chips ou une pizza surgelée à pâte fine, c’est délicieux ! Vous pouvez vous rafraîchir à la piscine de l’hôtel. Les chambres ont été récemment rénovées avec de vieux carreaux de ciment et décorées dans un style ancien rustique campagnard, tout ça avec beaucoup de goût. Vous dormirez au frais grâce au ventilateur et à l’humidité ambiante. Vous avez l’eau chaude dans la douche italienne et des serviettes bien douces. Dans la chambre, vous trouverez aussi un micro onde et un réfrigérateur quasiment neuf. Margarita est adorable, le jeune couple et les nombreux enfants aussi.
