Kleopatra Develi Hotel

Alanya|0.29km from Damlataş Cave
We rested in this hotel in July 2020 together with my husband. We chose a budget holiday, so we chose this hotel. Since we had already been to Alanya before, we knew that the hotel near Cleopatra Beach is an excellent option for the location of the hotel. The hotel is located in the block just opposite the entrance to the cable car (Teleferik). The quarter where Kleopatra Develi is located includes several hotels: Bebek, Bavyera. Develi is a hotel with dark green balconies. The hotel has a small swimming pool. The room rate included only breakfast. But there is one ”BUT”: for using the safe you will have to pay 15 euros for 7 days, and for using the air conditioner - 6 euros per day. We read reviews about it, but thought it might blow over and not have to pay. It turned out that after all, these are paid extra-services of the hotel, such a specificity of the hotel. Our guide clarified this point, we had to pay 350 liras for 7 days for air conditioning, in summer you can’t do without it. Consider these expenses, this significantly increases the cost of a ticket, perhaps for this price you can immediately take a hotel a little more expensive, but higher class or with improved nutrition, for example, breakfast and dinner. We arrived at the hotel at 6 am, check-in at 14-00. Until 11-30 we still held out, swam, went to a cafe to eat, but then we simply didn’t have the strength, since more than a day without sleep. We decided to ask to check in earlier. Earlier check-in cost us $10. We paid and they immediately gave us the keys - we should have done this from the very beginning :) But we do not regret that we paid extra - instead of the economy room that we had on the tour, they gave us an excellent standard triple room on the third floor, with a balcony. From the balcony on the left, a view of the sea, on the right of the mountains. The balcony overlooked the pool in the courtyard. The room has good comfortable furniture, refrigerator, hair dryer. Everything is clean and tidy. Cleaning somewhere every 3 days. They make the bed, change the towels, air everything. Breakfast at the hotel is served outside, each individually served plate with a Turkish breakfast (cheese, egg, olives, fruits, vegetables, jams with bread, tea, coffee). You can ask for supplements of whatever you want, they will bring you. But we were full, so we even asked to bring a little less cheese. Breakfast is the same every day. During the day, all tables, chairs and the alley are washed with a hose - disinfection. All staff are wearing gloves and masks. There are antiseptics at the entrance. Entrance to the hotel in a mask, in fact, as elsewhere in Turkey in public places (cafes, shops, public transport). Everyone follows the rules. Everyone is disinfected and your temperature is taken at the entrance. Therefore, there is no doubt about the safety of the rest. The location near the hotel is very cool - a beautiful atmospheric quarter with flags, apparently it was a favorite budget place for Europeans. The staff speaks only English, well, maybe they know a few words in Russian. In any case, they will understand you :) In a 2-minute walk, the most beautiful beach of Cleopatra, Migros, Damlatas cave, archaeological museum. Walk 20 minutes to the port of Alanya and to the Cuma Pazari bus station - from here you can take a 10 bus for 4.75 lira to get Dim Chai. Rya

Sunway Hotel

I went with my family last week and stayed in Sunway Hotel and it was the best decision ever. 1- Location: The hotel is located in a lovely street full of restaurants and hotels, crowded during the day but very calm in the evenings. You just have to cross the road to reach the famous teleferik that takes you up to the castle. Kleopatra beach, gardens, playgrounds and a big fountain are 2 minutes away by walking. The archeological museum is 5mn walking. This hotel has the best location ever! 2- Service: The staff are amazing and very helpful, the girl at the front desk that i didn't had the chance to know her name was trying her best to find us solutions whenever a problem encountered us. The owner is somethings else, he is the nicest and sweetest man you will ever meet; he was our little genie, had answers to every question and helped us a lot during our stay. 3- Accomodation: The rooms were clean, a bit obsolete, but still good and spacious with a little balcony. It wasnt that fancy, but you will feel home. The only problem was with breakfast. Same food every morning, so we stopped coming down after the third day. I highly recommend this hotel, these people will make you feel home and do their best to help you enjoy your stay.
Villa Sonata

Awful experience, first of all our room was not at all like the pictures in our booking. After a request to change rooms (at a cost of 8 euro’s a night) we agreed to pay half. Which was before we realised there was barely any hot water, no matter the time of day. Then there was the quality of the general facilities and the equipment provided (run down and dated) alongside chipped tableware and cracked tiles. More than once there were holes and stains on the ‘freshly changed’ bedding. The cleaning of the room in winter time is mean’t to be every other day however we had to verbally request for the room to be cleaned. We also ended up doing it ourselves a few times in the two weeks. The maids were excessively loud and disruptive, often waking us with banging and crashing as they carried out their cleaning services in the surrounding rooms. When we approached the staff working at the hotel they said they would contact the manager/owner to find a solution to the issues we had raised but no one came back to us until our check out day, they told us if we didn’t pay the room upgrade despite our disappointing experience they would have to pay which was obviously a lie. We also requested a double mattress topper, our request was ignored even though we asked numerous times. Our request was finally granted a week into our stay. Wouldn’t recommend staying here!
Kleopatra Atlas Hotel - Adults Only

The hotel is located at the foot of the mountain, right next to the beach of Cleopatra. all the sights in step availability. Food excellent. almost every day there was beef, turkey, chicken is of course. once for dinner were given lamb. in 10 days of rest there was fish three times (dorada, pepper, scumbria). wife liked some dessert. fruits on the season for October:fruit, apples, oranges, mandarins, delicious creams and excellent grapes. breakfasts are standard for Turkey. I don't Iran is enough in this hotel. it is not given. wifi in the room, speed is good. of the downsides-noise in the room is bad. lived on the first floor. even with closed windows it was difficult to sleep from the throat-which was under the windows of Poles (most of the residents of this hotel) until 12 nights. screaming, songs, Laughs stopped only after the bar was closed. the hotel would return but would be asked for the upper floor rooms.
Kleopatra Bavyera Hotel

Closed in October 2020. It is a chain hotel consisting of three buildings. Settled in Baker Baker. The location is very good. Across the road are the beaches of Dallatash and fonikuler, fountains, cafes, and embankments with fitness equipment. Near Migros. This room has 2 beds and a small LCD TV. The procedures are few, the refrigerator is small and on ice. The Internet is weak and collapsed. Breakfast included. But monotonous. There is no kettle or cooler. During the day, you will only drink tea or coffee in the cafes on the street The main disadvantage is cleanliness. We washed the floor twice in 15 days. The towel was changed once. Never sleep. dust. Advantages-price and location
Wasa Hotel

Only positive thing about the hotel was that the rooms were cleaned daily and it’s close to centre. However the bed sheets were changed once in my 11 night stay, and fresh towels were not provided on most occasions, the cleaners only sweeped the floor. The food was absolutely awful and made both me and my boyfriend violently ill for over a week, what a way to ruin the holiday. Serving salad and cereal for breakfast, not really catering for the English guests. Also no labelling on the food so we didn’t know what we were eating most of the time. See photo attached for the monstrosity of food they were serving. Never again will I return to this hell hole. Staff don’t understand much English either, which is somewhat understandable as we are in a different language but not knowing basic English for their guests is appalling. The pool was absolutely tiny and there were only 10 sun beds around the pool so chose to go to the beach most days where you don’t get to make use of your all inclusive drinks. If your thinking of coming here my only advice is DONT.
